  1. Thanks a lot Repairing now. Thanks again!
  2. I've got an update while you where writing… Now the game crashes at loading screen. Only unistall and reinstall? Or there are other options? With Windows + R I got the error, code C5, missing assets. How can I download the PTS files again?
  3. Thanks for the advice, deleted the file and the patching process seems to be working ATM. Thanks. I'll let you know if this time it works Unfortunately the game doesn't work. It launches normally, but after some seconds on loading screen it goes back to desktop...
  4. It stucks at installing game client 190. Any advice?
  5. Here are my two cents. Conquest points awarded per single activity must be revisited, there are too many activities that aren't simply worth the time to complete, compared with points earned. Warzones, GSFs and more probably. Conquest activities must be "reorganized". First some stuff must be included again, daily FP, GSF and warzone dailies and weeklies. This is only a first list, maybe the team should look at all the activities and organize them to be included. Speaking of Operations I think that the content shouldn't be limited at one per Legacy, on daily basis, but the conquest points should be awarded only for completing the whole operation not for only killing the last boss. Acceptable would be, in my opinion, to scale the conquest points rewards on bosses killed eventually, but we don't need the one per legacy cap. Speaking about the different guild sizes and rewards I think that the process is good, but it miss two points. First one is the rewards. If you don't consider the title, conquest isn't appealing. Boost the rewards a bit, maybe a grand chance cube for each toon capped for the guilds that enter the leaderboard. Or other stuff, maybe a single cartel pack of the current ones, a bunch of cartel coins maybe too. Just to give to the players something interesting to play for. 50k credits is the reward you get from 3 heroics, without even bothering with the bonus, the green-blue-purple scraps doesn't have any value, since the nerf of the crafting in conquests (nerf needed in my opinion) and that they will not grant tier 10 materials. Second and last one is a more complex and in depth change. Small-Medium-Large planets should remain as designed, but there is a needed change for how conquest points will be totalized. A small planet conquest should sum only the points of the top 25 (50? other value?) toons, regardless on how many toons in the guild where capped. A medium planet should sum the top 50 (75? other value?) toons and a large one every toon, like it is now. With a system like this one the large guilds will not invade the small or medium planets or if they do the small and medium guild will have a chance to compete without being simply overrun by the force of brute numbers.
  6. Impero Galattico is recruiting new guild mates. Everyone is welcome. Only requirment is written and spoken Italian Language. We have a Team Speak server, the use is suggested but not mandatory. For more info contact in game Mastrolindo, Dkill or Cicciopasticcio. Or simply post here if you want to be contacted in game.
  7. Arena queueing system will take roles to match teams, like FPs. If you can respec once queued your role can change and it will mess up the balance. But again we are talking about a system, Arenas, that we will be able to see only today for the first time and that will go live in more than a month from now. Stop making "what if" scenarios and wait a bit more for PTS to come up. And then we will see.
  8. I think that we should wait to see the new arenas in testing. Saying this will work or this won't work without even try it a single time is simply pointless. WAit for the TPS to open and then try it eand test. And suggest BW what should be changed and how. Saying it will not work without saying how it should be is pointless, again.
  9. Not sure if I can be there, but, as a former member of Dark Unity, I'll try to do my best. I'm planning to play more this game so it would be nice to play again with my old SWG guild
  10. First of all I would like to say that I bought the expansion, not before 7th of january, so no early access. At first DEVS told us that the new crew skills would not be part of the expansion but of 2.0 game update. That's fine with me. The fact that the materials could only be gathered on Makeb it's not a problem, there is the GTN, if I can learn the schems and if I can level up to 450. So first miscommunication (I call it lie, honestly). If I don't by Makeb I cannot craft endgame stuff, even if I'm a subscriber. Not fair, imo. But BW wasn't satisfied with only this. They decide to lock the new crafting for early access. Doing that they are giving an unfair advantage to all crafters in early access. The new stuff will be on high demand for the first couple of weeks or so, preventing a lot of players to access it is the same as making alfa players and normal players. You paid money in january? You are cool, we will unlock the expansion 5 days earlier (correct, stated in advertising) and we are igving you access to the new crafting tier exclusively, probably because we didn't tought about the early access when we coded the system. Impressive job... Looking at this communication/technical masterpiece in conjuction with the impressive update about PvP reminds me something I tought the game industry should have learn years ago. Don't give us New Game Experience if you aren't asked. Ask Smedley about it.
  11. Hel***s? He***s? Where are you hiding H****s? Please let us see you! A cookie to the one who guesses who am I referring to!
  12. I cannot agree more with you mate. The only thing I don't agree is the reason for the shut down of SWG. SWG licence was due to expire in june 2012, LA terminated the contract with SOE 5 days before the launch of TOR to help the new game during the Xmas sales. Other than that detail, that only who was playing SWG in june 2011 (after the SOE hacking) knows, I agree with you. Voicing get me 10 bear asses isn't enough, in the 2012!
  13. Since you think that the problem are SWG devs could you please tell me why SWG lasted 8 years and this game is going F2P after 8 months? The problems aren't the devs, form SWG or from other MMOS. The problem is that the game isn't keeping the pace with the hype generated. That's the problem, we are expecting more than the game can offer. And Guild Wars 2 coming out at the end of august surely doesn't help.
  14. Sorry but the only thing I'm would like to see in a Star Wars MMO is Galaxies....
  15. eheh, no total revamp of space combat, no pets, no player housing, no guild capital ships, no crafting update... But a new warzone, a new planet, a new companion... really massive... Thumb down, for me...
  16. You are as expert as me, I see... JTL - Do you think you can have something similar to SWG space flight with the rail space shooter we have now? How do you think crafters can make the space parts needed for a deep space flight simulation with the current resource spawn system? The flight model needs to be rebuilt from scratch, do you think it is something that can be done in 6 months? Pets - The pets I'm talking about aren't the rakghoul or the Taun Taun we have here. In SWG to make a pet you needed this equipment: DNA stick - extracted from a creature in the wild or looted for special pets. There was a % of purity to reach mutations. Enzymes - crafting resources, 3 main types, each type has 2 or 3 parameters. Crafting station, with 2 parameters, called incubators to actually make it. Energy to fuel the crafting stations. And once a pet was created you could sell it or hatch the obtained egg and level it, teaching him/her abilities and specials and then use it as a fighting companion. A bit different from the rakghoul or the taun taun... Think about craftable companions and you will be close. The craft was so different that I think that describing it here will go beyond the scope of this post...
  17. I've already two pets, but clearly you don't know what I'm talking about. SWG pet system was something a bit deeper and complex than SWTOR pets. Sure you have your ship as a house. But it is exactly the same as mine. The player housing I was talking about was the chance to place your house on the planet, decor it with furinitures, looted trophies, etc. And it was in the actual game world, for everyone to see and visit, if you wanted. You give away crafted items for free? Very generous, I do it too. But my items are exactly the same as yours. We use exactly the same resources and we don't have the chance to make modified versions of our items, something like armor or clothes colors... If you like SWTOR it's ok for me. I like it too. But do not say that the various systems of SWG are the same of the ones of SWTOR. You sure can say that they were crap, but not the same as SWTOR.
  18. The fact that SWG is dead and SWTOR is living is a huge point for you, I admit it. But consider that this game is new, LA got the royalty money from EA, EA invested money in advertising and marketing, Bioware made a very good game, but a game that will not hit the numbers LA/EA/BW need to sustain it. What will happen? I don't know, but probably the staff will be reduced, the new content will come slowly. I'm not saying that SWTOR is crap. It is a very nice game, but it's a single player MMO, once you have hit the levle cap there isn't anything to do, other than rinse and repeat the same instances. This is my opinion, at least. Have fun and take care
  19. SWG was 500 times better than SWTOR. JTL? You will not have it in SWTOR. PETS? You will not have it in SWTOR. Player Housing? You will not have it in SWTOR. Meaningful crafting? You will not have it in SWTOR. Should I continue or am I clear?
  20. No please, not another NGE! By the way this game is NGEed enough already!
  21. Where can I get campaign weapons? From commendation vendors?
  22. Replying to your original quesiton. The new saber will soft cap at 292, if your old orange saber was capped at 292. You need to take out the mods from the old and place in the new. Generally speaking all orange gear, armor or weapons or sabers, is something purely "appearance", since the stats are determined by the mods you put in the items.
  23. PUG = Pick Up Group, aka casually formed. No idea about how the ops leader is determined, I suppose he could be the first player to enter the WZ, but no clue if it is right or not.
