  1. Agent Warrior Everything else. Consular (god awful voice acting, snore fest 1. Act and most cliched character out of all classes, which is saying a lot seeing how this is Star Wars.)
  2. Male SI, Agent, Warrior Male > Female by a mile, BH are equal.
  3. -completely crazy -immune to logical thinking -superiority complex and far less skilled than she thinks she is -lulz i'm so ev0l XDD -embodies everything wrong with Sith in general Yeah nah.
  4. On the contrary. Revan was always a Well Intentioned Extremist. See the Mandalorian Wars. He also was "brainwashed and crazy" by the Emperor before, and if Kreia is right, his entire campaign as Darth Revan also falls very firmly under the Well Intentioned Extremist category. His plan to wipe out the Empire and the Sith (while completely unrealistic) fits his character very well. After all he has already shown several times that he is willing to do extreme and downright evil things to accomplish something he perceives to be a good outcome. Considering that he quotes Malaks dying words, it is very heavily implied he died in that force explosion.
  5. I dislike both stories because I find them terribly boring, incredibly clichéd and very much predictable. The voice acting (atleast for the male characters) doesn't help either.
  6. Sorry, I should've clarified. I meant to say that the Consular is a god mode sue. Chosen one? Check. Learns a super special secret technique nobody else knows? Check. Able to recruit a chaotic evil race of lunatics for the Republic just like that? Check. Roots out a virtually undetectable sleeper agent network all on his own, wins the whole *********** war AND has several star systems under his direct control? Check, check and check. Face it. The Consular is by far the most blatantly overpowered character of this game. Only the Inquisitor has comparable power, and atleast he's funny.
  7. >liking a ****** Mary Sue character I know everyone is entitled to their opinion, but damn that's bad.
  8. No, what we think is that a hybrid should have the potential to deal the same amounts of damage as a pure. Crippling the damage output of hybrids to force them to tank/heal is so Classic WoW.
  9. That has no escape, only one combat CC, no interrupts and mediocre healing (or extremely terrible healing when not specced Bodyguard), as well as near to no instant DMG abilities. You also missed an apostrophe.
  10. I very much liked the SW story, especially the first act. Got a bit meh during the second act but got better with act 3. Also enjoyed the BH story, since the BH has by far the most entertaining comps. What I don't understand are people that complain about the repetitiveness of BH quests (go to planet, find target, kill target, collect bounty, repeat), since thats kinda all there is to bounty hunting...you get a contract, find your target and deal with it and get your money when you're done. Whoever didn't see that coming must be pretty stupid (no offense intended). Trooper storyline is okay, nothing special though. JK story is even more cliched than the other storylines, in addition to being kinda boring with a boring male VA. And from what I've seen so far from the IA storyline I gotta say it's quite nice.
  11. From what you're saying I guess you never really got into the SW lore. That's not really a problem, but please don't go around saying everything about those changes is alright, cuase it isn't Praven is the only one. And as I already said, he was a special case already. And Scourge repeatedly states that he is not a friend of the Republic or Empire anymore. He's a Sith and only helped you because he wanted to save his own hide. But it's senseless to argue here, since BioWare is going to whatever the hell they want anyway. And if that means destroying SW lore, then so be it.
  12. Read a bit about the chiss. Then tell me chiss on Rep side make any sense. And Purebloods are the elite of the Empire, most of them force sensitive and sent to the acadamies. The dark side is bred into their bones. The only known Pureblood to become a Jedi (padawan) is Praven, and he already was an outsider in his own society for the way he thought and acted.
  13. Kind of a lot of people. And staying true to established lore =/= dogma/unfun.
  14. How about no. I expected a move like that from Blizzard, since it's common knowledge that Blizz doesn't give a rats *** about lore anymore. But BioWare? That's just sad. (Btw, BioWare said that lore and proper storytelling would play a pretty big role in SWTOR, but it seems they forgot about that...)
  15. Are you daft? If he'd like to play a chiss smuggler, he'd be forced to regrind a character (said chiss smuggler).
  16. So you are okay with LA destroying their own established lore or letting others do so? What's so hard to understand about people that care(d) about SW lore being upset about the way BioWare tries to rape said lore?
  17. What a joke. I really hoped BioWare would stay true to their concept of a story driven MMORPG in which lore is atleast partially respected and important, and now we get Jedi Purebloods and Chiss Smugglers working for the Republic...what a fucking joke... Then it seems you aren't much a lore junky afterall.
  18. How about we just agree that both Boba and the TOR Hunter are pretty badass
  19. That's prolly because they never actually had to do anything to wipe out the galaxy. As explained in ME1 the Reapers always came in through the Citadel, wiped out the leaders and then had their fun killing of the rest of the population without any difficulties whatsoever. Yeah, thats why Earth is basically a burning ruin by the time you flee the planet, which is roughly an hour or two after they launched their attack. They are trying to harvest the humans/other races, so a complete annihalation isn't their goal anyway. Also, they don't have weapons that are actually useful for orbital fire. Nor do most of the other star ships in ME, come to think of it. Hackett sent Shepard and Kenson led him to the artifact, not Harbinger. Harbinger simply took advantage of the fact that Shepard came to The Project. Also, Sovereign was not only very competent, he very nearly activated the relay in the Citadel, which in turn would've been the end of our story right there. He only failed when his puppet Saren failed due to his weakness and inability to defeat Shep, and he only died because he wasn't prepared for the backlash of Saren's (second) death which stripped his shields and weakened him heavily. Harbinger doesn't really do anything at all. Anyway, to stay on topic, SW is prolly > ME in terms of tech and the likes. In the end, WH40k tops them all anyway :>
