Well I went onto the PTS and my fps just flew right up. Now whether or not that was due to something they did with the code or just because not many people were on the server. I don't know. I'm hoping people will see a big improvement with 1.2.

I think the reason you are dying so quickly is that your playing against people already in end game PVP gear. Patch 1.2 helps with that with the new recruit gear which can be bought with credits. That should help you survive longer and compete more. Because the classes are pretty much mirrors of each other the Empire is not overpowered. That's just not true. More people maybe attracted to the Empire side because of its more darker approach but Bioware can't do much about that. Its up to people what side they wish to play.

As strange as it sounds the Customizable UI. I'll be there for hours tweaking and making sure everything is perfect. I still haven't decided to go for a more traditional UI layout with the health bars up top or keep them centre. Ohhhh so many decisions!!!!

They MAY and that is a really big MAY introduce a system where you can buy things with real money. GW2 have decided to allow people to buy gems, which can be traded for money in game. Effectively using real money to buy credits. They did this for a number of reason. Mainly to stop the credit/gold selling market and most importantly to make a profit. However, to have such a system usually has a negative reaction from the community. I really doubt they will introduce a system where you can buy things will real money to benefit you in game. I think perhaps a first step is a online store to buy pets and cosmetic stuff and they may go from there. Its a very sensitive area for MMO players.

I'm having a blast with TOR. From start to finish. Most MMO's I play start at level cap. TOR starts at level 1 and is a great experience from the get go. Does that mean its perfect? No of course not there are a lot of things that need improving but that doesn't mean we can't have fun with what we have

Just to clarify on the OP. In some cases to get a reward from the legacy system you require the legacy level and money to unlock it. I haven't really had a good look at the system yet so I don't know how much of it requires both.

Smuggler has some great one liners. At the very beginning you can say "If I die, I want to be buried with my ship." Its from then you know your in for a good ride

You make money by doing the content and then use that money to buy rewards through the legacy system. If you want more rewards, you do more content. Seems like a standard MMO system to me.

Nope I don't believe the game is dying. Is the population going down? Yes. Thats normal for any MMO. MMO populations rise and dros depending on patches. Because its been a while since we've had a content patch then its only natural for the population to drop. Once 1.2 hits the population will rise again. And then we go into the same cycle. People will leave as the patch goes on and come back with the next patch.

I don't believe anyone should bash someone just because their opinion differs from yours. I'm sorry that you don't enjoy the game at the moment and it isn't what you thought it would be. Perhaps a few months down the line, after a few patches it might interest you again.

My guess would be for the first expansion. It would really need to be a pretty damn big deal to use those type of cinematics. Everything else will be done using the ingame graphics. Which imo is more than good enough. I mean just look at the Keon Under seigh trailer.

You used to be able to dual on the fleets back in beta. However, it caused griefing because people would just push people of their own faction off the edge to their doom. Kinda funny if your the one doing the pushing
