  1. tbh if you're getting burnt out during the leveling phase I'd start looking elsewhere for entertainment because it doesn't get any better when the leveling is over.

After the exp grind comes the gear grind. It's an MMO, doing the same things over and over for potential rewards is the nature of the beast. At least during the exp grind you get new planets every so often, so if you're already burning out... bounce.

  2. There is no problem. Don't pick choices, missions or do anything that gives you Dark Side points. No one gets forced to do that, you have to actually click on something. Pay more attention to your actions and you will stay Pure.

Reading is hard, man. Obviously it's a high priority bug that when I send a companion out on a mission clearly marked as dark side, I gain dark side points.

  3. Bah. You're not going to make anyone drop bio by nerfing it repeatedly, it's still the only profession that's worth having (after you crafted whatever gear you wanted to craft for yourself) due to consumables. That is a longevity none of the other crew skills have. Sure, you can keep x profession to sell y good for profit, but for usefulness outside the cash flow area, bio trumps all and always will as long as that is true. (It could even be argued that due to reusables & with more upcoming sellable items bio may trump all in profit over time, too.)

Hey, you gave x profession the ability to make armor that's actually decent? I'll pick it up, craft a set and go back to bio. etc. Actually, if you make the aforementioned armor tradeable, I'll just buy a set and stay bio.

  4. Ohh great idea! I want rataka set from PvP and Datacrons from Ilum dailies. You know, all players of the game should enjoy that without doing whats needed to do proper content to get it.

    Thats basically what you've said.

Want social points, group up for pve quets/dailies/flashpoints.

Ignoring your idiotic argument that implies giving pvpers social gear/items will somehow break the game like giving people endgame gear with much less effort would...

Are you implying that it's somehow less social to group up and work together to complete pvp objectives than it is to group up and work together to complete pve ones?

  5. lawl. funny thing is. Tracer missile is the next to get nerfed. who knows maybe it will make you even better... like they did to OP's today :D

    lol.

Gave tracer missile ten second cooldown. Made cast instant, increased its damage by 200% and it now applies 5 stacks of heat signatures per use, fully buffs rail shot and unload always procs.

also lots of people missing the op's joke, but swtor and/or pvp forums so i'm not surprised

  6. Let's see, an instant advantage that can only be used by one side and will likely cause them to win the match due to the impossible speed of the bomb plant, vs a 5 point difference (if your side doesn't cap the advantageous turret for some reason) that will likely not even matter since even the hardest-fought civil wars tend to end with a 30+ point difference. Wonder which should take precedence...
  7. Nobody ever said it was difficult to use tracer repeatedly, only that it's the key to the entire arsenal tree. That effectively makes mercs weaker, as interrupting that one skill means every other skill he uses won't be buffed to hit you harder. He can't apply the armor debuff, he can't buff rail shot and heatseekers, he won't get unload procs, etc.

It's dumb for an entire build to rely so heavily on hitting someone with the same skill 3+ times before using your other skills, especially in an area where your target is gonna be getting dropped by other players as well, meaning that you can rarely get 5 heat signatures on a target before it's dead and you need to start stacking them on a new target. That's BW's fault really, whoever designed arsenal seems like they were designing solely with pve in mind.

(also pyros are better in pvp, shh)

  8. The one trade off was the 1v1 burst dmg in pvp, i could usually take out a class if i was able to sneak up behind them in stealth, but now we can't even do that, we'll probably get them down 10-20% and they will just turn around and **** us up.

You're telling me that you won't be able to kill a target at 10% hp before he can drop you from full?

  9. As soon as merc's has pressed DAH ROCKET BATTAN (when it's possible) - it WILL strike the target, no matter if target behind any column, in Trooper's case grav round have almost 1.5 second of beginning animation, then 1.5-2 sec cast, and if target already behind any column - "out of range".

No need in flaming forums, you just need to play both classes, not only one, and then, and only then, you will see the difference. Until then it's just a trolling.

if you followed your own advice you'd know that tracer missile is frequently los'd and cancelled, but you're too busy being wrong on forums.

  10. Hmm. I alone can lock a healer down to healing only himself, while slowly whittling him down (or not-so-slowly on the bad/ungeared ones), on my sin. If anyone joins me in smacking him around, he's doomed. If he doesn't get assistance from his team, he's doomed. No, I'm not likely to burn him down in ten seconds or less, but the fact that I can at all makes me feel like it's fine. (I bet the healer might feel differently.)

I don't mind when I don't manage to burn down a healer. Usually it's because they outplayed me, or brought their allies into play in this team-based game. If I can solo everyone in a few seconds because I've locked out all their skills, I'll be one bored sin.
