farm the Boarding Party flashpoint... it gives up 5-10 Taris comms each run. assuming you hit every chest. at lvl50 it takes about 40-45 minutes to complete. edit: Normal Mode Boarding Party flashpoint.

no it's not. I have several as well and they are all side quests that are in no way involved with my characters story.

are you guys still seeing the delay issues? all of mine seem to have been resolved on the last patch...(tuesday?)

Didn't really answer my question as to how it hurt your performance..... And it's not a 1 second queue. the whole cooldown is only 1.5 seconds and the queueing only seems to work in the last 10-15% of that ... so .15 - .17 second queue (estimated). and more importantly... what he/she said.

hey OP... since it doesn't do anything... why are you even paying attention to it? being that there is 0 impact by this system at the moment... why do you care if the counter is there? Seriously... maybe if they had called it an ALL character activity tracker it wouldn't have bothered you as much? If someone handed you a wallet and said sometime down the road I am going to put 10k cash in there, I bet you would complain that you have to carry the wallet.... btw you can turn off the legacy exp bar display in preferences, maybe that will resolve your concerns?

I guess by this you mean a system that you don't have to focus all of your attention on to see the end of the cooldown cycle... Not sure how the easier to see indication of skill ready status has harmed your performance?

I don't understand the issue people are having with the new global cooldown display... I find it's a LOT better than the old way and I am not sure if it's just that I am more able to time the skill action (due to the new display) or if they fixed the timing/delay issues but I was instantly dropping more damage in less time on my targets. I play a sith warrior and as far as I have seen (compaired to my other characters) my warrior is the most interactive skill style i have seen. By this I mean he has a lot of skills that are dependent on mob conditions and cooldown states vs all my other characters. summary I love the new cooldown set up... I hope it doesn't get changed.

there is some identical (aesthetic) orange armor that drops in the "boarding party" and "Foundry" Flashpoints... if all your going for is the look... you can swap the mods to meet your needs once you get it... I got the chest piece and head piece a few times... I haven't seen the legs/boots/gloves yet though, bet you can find same aesthetic in the planet commendation shops...

I see this same effect on the Bounty hunter with the primary (no heat) attack, I always just assumed some of the 3 hit and some didn't... I have only noticed a "miss" or "Deflect" response on skills that only throw out the single damage value... never see a miss/deflect on ones that spit out more than one damage counter (like flame thrower and the aoe rapid fire).... just a thought. btw: whoever made this a republic/empire love/hate comment get over it.... it does not apply here (or at all in my opinion).

I did not take you as rigid or high handed, and I actually agree that people should know better than to act like a d-bag in public chat, I just felt the need to point out that just because we feel they should doesn't mean they have to do it or face the wrath of [insert judgmental entity here]. Much like sosold(and I forget the way he/she spelled their forum name..) was saying we are not the ones to judge what is appropriate... and the support people could swing either way on some pretty innocuous commentary. Either way, I don't think you should not report them, but I don't do it unless the commentary is pretty aggressive/derogatory and directly aimed at an individual. I was mostly just compelled to state my perspective, not trying to imply what yours should be.

I am struggling with a good way to write my thoughts on this topic, please bear with me. The hardest part about freedom of speech is recognizing that the freedom is only real if you can tolerate something you despise. please don't take this out of context and try to apply it to physical harm or similar analogies, I am being specific to verbalization and the written word. While I happen to agree that people should take the more vulgar or degrading conversations to a more private channel ( I actually think this game will allow you to create and invite multiple people to a private channel?), I don't expect them to nor do I think they need to do so. General Chat is a public domain space and as such the d-bags have just as much right to use it for whatever they are saying as you or I. At the same time I see where you are coming from and get the idea of 'why should most suffer for the sake of a few...' well honestly we don't have to suffer they are only words, spouted by people we don't even know (most likely) about stuff I doubt we really care about in the figurative sense that they are 'sharing' it in. With all that said.. if I see chatter about potentially malicious acts or aggressive/abusive dialog coming from a couple sources I will absolutely report it, but that has more to do with the way things can escalate. Anyway I hope this makes sense.. and it's not that I disagree with what you are feeling, I just disagree with acting as though "rules" and "laws" are equivalent and somehow translate into some entitlement or rights situation.

while I don't see a problem with healing the npc's in the PvP area... I do agree they should be flagged as combatants at that point...
