  1. Well if they're your friends i guess you can talk with them beforehand? I don't see a problem in this, if he's important you'll have a whole few days to decide on which server to go, this applies to guilds to ( true members will question about the future of their guild, the rest can go wherever they want )
  2. I've got 23 days left on my account, that doesn't mean i have played in the last month thus the question. Didn't know i have to wait until the game time is over to post a question about the state of the game and possible ventures in it's universe, strange policies you've got here friend. That's something i'm waiting for as well, the choice of words was pretty poor and most of the people will think the way i am, the game will get few updates far and between just to keep it afloat. Thank you for the answers, seems you can apply to test the 1.3 and i'm going to try my luck and see what the new update offers even though the server populations seems to be the no.1 reason for unsubscribing in many of the cases.
  3. Hey guys, so i haven't played in a while and have been pondering on whether to resubscribe at this point in time. There are rumors, some might say facts, that Ea is somewhat letting go of Swtor, comparing it to their golf franchise in terms of revenue and thus reducing the team and funds allocated for this game. Are the rumors true? Has swtor already become just another mmo doomed to a slow death? I'm really concerced about this, looking forward to your answers. Don't know if anyone can assure me that the game will still be updated regularly but at least a "we'll do our best, trust us" from one of the remaining devs would sure boost my moral and i guess many of the old players and potential new customers. Thank you for your time, have a nice and wonderful weekend.
  4. No you! see that's what you did there. As a side note, what are, in your opinion, small content patches and do you think they would satisfy the 8 gaming hours a day people?
  5. Opinions, opinions - thought it's been made clear that being condescending doesn't help the game improve nor creates a good environment for the one's who actually enjoy the game. That being said you can get off your high horse and either enjoy the content, which by no means is small, or search for the Holy Grail somewhere else. As you stated your opinion, i'm entitled to mine - there isn't a game out there in this point in time more fun as a whole than swtor.
  6. Not everyone likes treating the game like a second life. As you might have noticed, casuals are the main target of any new game. Take League of Legends as an example. Everybody slandered the game in it's infancy comparing it to Dota and Hon, saying it's way to casual and that it has no e-sport status, that it'll be soon forgotten. Fast forward a few years and it's the most watched game in any e-sport event, not to mention boasting a huge playerbase. Le: LoL is a very good example for a free to play game done right, to all the f2p haters around here saying a game is failing if it's going f2p
  7. They didn't say a year, don't know where you got that from. They said they'll put ranked warzones in 1.2 and after that they'll be working on cross server queuing, that will eventually mean more lvl layers. They know it's a priority and as such will probably come soonish after 1.2.
  8. Obviously people like you are spewing nothing but the truth and the rest are mad "fanboyz". Everybody is entitled to an opinion but the fact that you have to reinforce yours on every thread is a bit worrying honestly.
  9. The Warhammer and Age of Conan failure was due to a slow response from the dev teams. The games were very entertaining at the begging for 2 new just released mmos ( explains most of the good reviews) but the lack of communication slowly but surely degraded the way the game was perceived and ultimately lead to their demise. Not the case for swtor, so far the devs seem pretty responsive. Le: still waiting for a response regarding the wow user score on metacritic.
  10. A lot of people are bringing up the user score on metacritic for swtor. May i ask what's the user score for wow in this case? Leaving that aside, people should play whatever they like; having fun is all that matters. Don't really understand these wow/swtor financial debates. As long as the game is sustainable it shouldn't matter that one has 11 million accounts ( 2-3 million eu/na ) and the other 500k ( the number for a healthy subscriber base).
