BW pls 'lock' droid corpses that need scanning for quests, to the person that kills them. Its so fustrating, having to kill a group of droids to scan their remains, only to have some idiot come running in and scanning before you get a chance. *Edited, to clear up confusion between quest scanning and scavenging*

it's only level 1 atm, what I guess I am getting at is why it does not offer the same protection as say a cartel mount, when you have to work so hard to get one.

its not my perception, my other vehicles 'offer excellent protection' from being knocked off. the Tauntaun doesn't. What I can sail through on my speeders will drag me down on my Tauntaun. I probably will stop using it ( though I really wanted one and worked days to get one) but I don't see why something that takes a fair bit of effort to get, cannot take a single hit from a mob before dropping you.

Well I never have trouble with the speeder mounts I have, not like this so, yeah i can blame the mount.

For all the time it takes to get it, you'd think it would have better protection. 1 hit and I am pulled off, by enemies 8 lvls below me, and it wasn't even by a bunch of enemies, just 1. I hope they change this, because it could get annoying really fast. It doesn't inspire me to go out and get more, what's the point if other mounts give better protection.

I know that's what an mmo is mainly for yes, I was a wow player for 5 yrs and never raided or pvp'd, its just not what I like. I am mainly a solo player, occasionally grouping up with friends for some quests. Endgame content doesn't bother me. So the questing, levelling and playing through the story is my game. I am a big altaholic too, so creating loads of characters is not a problem and I enjoy playing through their stories. I was just finding I was having to make more because I'd have to put them in rest a lot more and not being able to stick to one for too long for fear that I was was becoming far too underlevelled for the area I was in.

I do all quests that I can find, I am fairly new, so I guess there may be a few that I miss. But I don't do the fp's and have only done a couple of 2man heroics so far, so I am hoping you don't really have to rely on them too much, I got nothing against them just I like playing the game at my own pace and with limited time, I don't want to spend it waiting for others to join in. I don't know if this has been said before but I seriously think this game needs more quests. I find I am having to do a lot of grinding just to finish an area at the right level. If I grind enough and leave an area 1 or 2 levels higher, just to stay ahead, by the time I reach about level 25 I am leaving areas a level below the minimum for the next area. So I end up sticking a character in rest for days and having to make another while I wait. There really shouldn't be the need for so much grinding, especially at such low levels.
