Xcore just made a significant post in his thread saying that he has seen significant improvement. My biggest issues I hope will be addressed within the next couple of weeks when the coming animation fixes are implemented.

Any your's was the opinion that I was most interested in hearing after the patch. If the most vocal critic is happier after the patch than before then we truely are seeing progress. So I'm glad that the communities efforts that you spearheaded are starting to pay off. My personal thanks to those that posted videos to illustrate the problem. Hopeful that the animation fixes that are coming soon continue the progress.

Not a big fan of the idea. Want to Tank? Roll a Vangaurd Want to DPS? Roll a Commando Stick with your choice. Do your research before hand. And if you want to do do both, roll 2 toons. This game has choices. Stick with them or re-roll. Dual spec makes for more gear competition as people roll on stuff for their off spec. Bad enough we have ninja rollers for companion gear.

Yes, it is. Faction imbalance is a player created issue. Everyone wants to be a bad boy. When I realized how bad the faction imbalance was, I went ahead and re-rolled my planned trooper alt early. That then became my main account. If they had forced me to do so, I would not have played. period.

I'm 35. If they did this with a reasonable sized kit, I would buy at least the Sith ship and the Trooper ship. For my kid to play with... yeah, thats right. Sure. .....

Thats what guilds are for. But I won't look for a guild unless I don't have enough people in my current multi-gaming clan to raid with. And I have to wait for everyone to re-roll on the same server. We're currently spread all over hells half acre. And I, and most of my former WoW-playing friends disagree that the game is fundamentally broken. I agree that it needs tweaking, especially with some of the end game mechanics, but from what I understand about MMOs, that's pretty much par for the course. Meh. Agree to disagree I guess. I'm not a hardcore player. I don't have that level of time. I just want a game I can have fun with. And untill I stop having fun, SWTOR will get my $. It stops being fun, they stop getting my money and I'll questly move on to whatever new game is out that strikes my fancy. Datacron hunt. Get all teh permanet buffs to your stats that you can. Then you can hunt for all the Codex entries. Then you can help random lowbies or clannies level.

Totally disagree with that, and so do most of the people I know playing the game. Almost every single friend of mine playing the game wants to do anywhere from a minimum of 3 storylines, to ALL of them. I plan on doing at least 5 of the storylines. 3 Empire (Sith Assasin, Bounty Hunter, And one of the Warrior stories.) Along with the Trooper storyline, and running a darksided Jedi.

Worst I quit post I've seen in quite a while.

If you want to get a real feel for the community, then for the sake of your sanity, stay out of gen discussion. Never will you experience a more wretched hive of scum and villany... to use a tried and true SW reference.

I just checked with my 3 most hardcore WoW playing friends. ALL of them are still having an absolute blast, including the one who was a hardcore ranked WoW PVPer. The other was a Druid raider and the last one of the single best healers that I have ever played any game with. They all are playing and having a blast. So if they are reasonably satisfied with the game, I have no worries. /2 Level 31 Toons here. Planning on doing each class at least once. //Really wishes work wasnt cutting into my playtime so much.

34. 2-6 hours a day on Workdays, unless I'm working a 12 hour shift. Then its prob about an hour and a half. Significantly more on off days.

Ah, the joys of being recently separated. Of course, I have forgotten to eat a couple of days. And I really need to do some dishes. But thats more the fault of 2 12 hour shifts in a row.
