The way I see it project is a reversed push. Push might be a signature light side move, but to fill the slot of a single target damage ability you can't have something which would push the opponent, it would be a CC ability instead. So instead of pushing people into things we push things into them. It's a compromise. The alternative would be a saber throw or something similar to disturbance, which is really project with a different animation. I don't pvp on my consular (yet), so I have had no issues with project, until now that is, the new animation is awful , and using project now doesn't really feel like using an ability at all.

Someone else pointed out in a similar thread that Qyzen uses heavy armor and he would end up looking like a jedi guardian if his main stat was strength, which is why he was left with aim.

Which is your unfounded assumption. The facts speak to the contrary. During the last 2 weeks server population on my server (Rogue Moon) has dropped significantly, it seems to be half of what it was. During the same 2 weeks my guild has gone from an average of 8-10 people online..to NONE! I've been the only one online for at least a week. The last couple of days I haven't even bothered logging on myself. So no, there aren't a majority of people like you..maybe there is now, since all the people who used to log on daily are gone.

Same thing in every MMO I've played, whiners on the forums complaining that they can't get access to all the games content through casual play..the result, devs listen and the hardcore players end up with nothing to do. Accept that you can't have everything, just like in real life, some things take effort..and if you aren't willing or able to put in the time, you wont get them. I can live with that, in fact I appreciate it, it means there's always something to aim for...even if it takes longer for me. What you're asking for will eventually kill the game, I've seen it happen before.

Exactly. I'm as frustrated as everyone else. After working all day I come home to find I can't play today either, instead I can spend the evening watching a download bar. A download which could have been over, had I started it this morning. That being said. Asking for compensation for lost play time is a bit pathetic. What BW should do is first of all, make sure something like this doesn't happen again, and if it does, be better prepared. Secondly, If they were to provide compensation, and it is possible for them to identify the accounts affected by this, they could either send us a physical copy of the game, or give us some in-game compensation in form of gear or whatever is suitable. I don't care that I lost less than 1 Euro, it's the fact that I haven't been able to play for 2 days I care about.

And some of us have disabled system restore because we normally don't screw up our systems, besides I'm pretty sure system restore, restores the SYSTEM files..not program files. Do you really think your entire hard drive is backed up regularly?

Or BW could provide an option in the launcher to save a backup of the downloaded client. How hard could that be.

I find it hard to believe BW doesn't have some patch remover available used by their developers during the making of this patch. The decent thing to do would be to provide the unlucky "handful" with some means to rollback. I have been working for 9 hours today, and have about 4 hours free time to play..downloading the entire client at 1000 kb/s would take me about 3 hours..I'm sure BW could come up with a solution within that time frame.
