    Let us band together and try to encourage more people to play instead of pushing them away but also inform BW there is more to this game than Cartel Market and lame flash points to keep peoples interest.

     

    Pretty much this right here, the new fp is meh and if BW is taking resources of raids to put into these "tactical flashpoints" what hope does the future of endgame raiding have

    Lol, not really. How hard is it to simply copy all the assets from the first half of the hallway and put it inbetween the first and the second? It'd even be easier if they thought of doing that when they originally made it. Just throw some closed doors on the rooms and you're golden. It'd take you ten minutes tops.

     

    If you wanted to be sloppy about it sure, recoding properly, weeks.

    I am guilty of one thing only which is making a claim without backing it up, I agree and I will not argue it further.

     

    However, the original poster said the following:

    "Hey guys I think we have seen a possible new secret boss, but we are not very sure. But we will work on it and come back with more proof but first we wanted to alert community".

     

    Most people on the thread are replying with a lot of hostility and/or ridiculing them. And yes there is butthurt here mostly because this specific guild is the victim of the following:

     

     

    And this is exactly why there are many guilds that don't participate in progression on the forums, there is already much hostility and the OP have not yet verified if it is actually a new hidden boss or not.

     

    Cause the OP is fos and the internet is not a kind place.

    Could be because I skipped pages 3-11 or just because I am drunk BUT

     

    Did anyone else notice the belt/bracer for Oriconian and Dread Forged are the same stats?

     

    Dread Forged Belt 170end 219wp 69 pwr (with wp/end aug)

    Oriconian Bracer 170end 219wp 69 pwr (also with wp/end aug)

     

    This actually frustrates me more than anything else, that I could have bought the belt with comms for the same stats as the drop itself (which was in place of an implant on Nefra).

    A better way to address this is to push for an alternative - content cycle with a longer gap between content releases but one where all difficulties are released at once.

     

    Of course, that has its own problems - possible that with a longer gap that people actually will get bored and leave.

     

    It would work for slower progression guilds who take longer to clear content, but as you said guilds who clear content quickly (NiM included) they'd be sitting there bored having cleared everything.

    Why is being good at PvP viewed with such a negative connotation?

    I think there are a lot of people playing this game who have decided they are good at PvP without any real data to back it up. I'm really looking forward to the leader boards. IMO, a lot of the "cool kids" are going to find out how average they really are.

     

    To answer your question, when someone who believes they are better than they really are loses, they often look for an excuse that doesn't make them reconsider their inflated estimate of their own skill.

    ok, whoever gets the MOST Defender Medals on the losing team, still counts.

     

    So if you've been guarding the node all along, there's no reason for the derps to tag along, because their Defender Medals won't matter, but yours still will

     

    And if you rotate guard duty with a few others?
