  1. Bioware should remove or increase the mission limit to at least 100. I want to keep all missions that are not more than 15 levels below my current level. Yesterday I was happy of having found 2 over-leveled players to help me with a 4 player hero mission. And of course, please fix the message to something more meaningful. I thought the first time that the quest had a first part which had to be accomplished before. How hard can it be to modify a single sentence in 3 languages. This thread is far from being the first concernig this problem.
  2. I fully agree. The cantina music is terrible and has the worst haunting melody ever.
  3. Thanks for your vote in favor of the XP slider.
  4. Then please vote for the XP slider or multiplier.
  5. OK, I have misunderstood some points in your post but not your message. I have only misunderstood that you actually advised me: - to do bonus missions. The most grindy missions of all. - not to do flashpoints and heroics which I actually like.
  6. 90 % of all good single player games have no grind for me. Grind is when the game becomes repetitive in a boring way or keeps you away from the interesting stuff. I have started several MMO but stopped playing them because of the grind. I thought SWTOR was different as advertised.
  7. I know very well why I want to play a game with a story and not watch a movie or read a book.
  8. I never stated that I want to repeat the flashpoints over and over. Please proof me wrong and I will correct the post.
  9. I do not know why people think I am trolling; maybe I respond too much to keep the thread going. I have written tthat many people claim to progress too fast. For now, I assess that I level up too slowly. I have written that I want to do the main story and not the rest. Yet you propose me to do everything (except bonus) ? And you even tell me that there activities not worth the effort ?
  10. Maybe, but grinding PvP and space combat does not ensure it either. I want a challenge in the game but no grind. Please understand this one.
  11. I wish everybody a long and good experience with the game. If you like grind and time sinks, like running, all the better for you. But I want to finish my story in a reasonable time for every class. I have no fun with 100 times a similar 10 minute detour mission. I have no fun killing similar enemies on the run to mission X, as mission X and on the way back from mission X. And 90 % of this is repeated for every class of the same faction.
  12. I guess this thread is too long for people to read it. It is just repetition from here on.
  13. I was not talking about grinding flashpoints. Or you do not remember well what you have done. And do not tell me that the class quests to level 20 require 10 hours; they require max 5 hours if I had not to grind to level up. And within the 5 hours, much running is included. The real grind begins at level 20.
  14. Good idea. But I want my story with some glorious fights.
  15. That would be another solution. But the XP slider or multiplier: - is much easier to implement. - allows people to progress slower too. - would make people less jealous of being offered everything for free.
  16. Whatever sensible criticism or proposal you make while allowing everybody to play as usual, the last reason in favor of the current state is always that the game is not for you.
  17. I guess Bioware: - was afraid that people will not have enough to do. - thinks that the story is good enough to keep casual players doing the grind. But grind: - does not replace real content. - does not replace good gameplay which requires no new content. So casual gamers and PvP players alike want an XP multiplier to avoid the grind.
  18. Feel free to run if you enjoy it so much. But do not force other players to suffer from time sinks and grind.
  19. Why not open the map and have these options. Why the useless run to the hangar ? And yes, I am serious.
  20. I haver never claimed that leveling is the big problem for everyone. On the contrary, I have always highlighted that the XP slider would be useful for those who progress too quickly. I do not ignore the proposals which are still about doing grind to level up. They have just told me what gives the most XP per hour. I am fighting for my wish against weak reasons for not having the XP slider.
  21. This is indeed surpisingly fast. What have you done to level up that fast ?
  22. This is not the case. And even if it were true, this would be a perfectly valid reason for the XP muliplier. Let people do what they want without the mandatory grind. Again: Either people quit before 50 or reach 50 despite the grind.
  23. Those interesting side missions are very rare, at least until level 25. Most of the time it is just about gathering or killing something for some arbitrary NPC. I mean by story something that affects the "life" of my char or his companions; or something bigger and worthy of a hero like the flashpoints. Thank you for the effort to make valid proposals instead of FUD and wrong accusations.
  24. Please take your time to read and think before answering. I want to have my story to level 50 without grind. I am NOT requesting to level up faster just for the sake of it.
