  1. I feel like this is a bad idea. I don't spend much time on the forums, really, so I wouldn't know who to vote for in the first place. I understand having 1 go to guy for each group, but so much can go wrong, focusing only PvP because that is all the "elected" player likes, or vice versa.
  2. I think your math is off...it is more like you invest in shell with $15...Shell gives you a card with 500 points on it...you go to the shell station and buy a sticker with it that normally costs 5 cents by using 10 of those points...Shell still has the money you gave them earlier, and you are able to only use the points they give you at their store.
  3. I think it was just poor wording. I don't think he is saying it will take work to get it put on the list, but that now that it has been brought to his attention, he will put it on the list.
  4. Refuse to get Treek. I don't care if they start giving him/her out for free...it will just end up thrown out of my bag. I have 0 interest in an Ewok Companion. Even less interest than I had in a Jawa companion, even though Bounty Hunter is my main. Blizz just sits in my ship, and that is because I can't get rid of him...Treek doesn't even get that luxury.
  5. Treek is a big no for me. I don't care how much work it takes to unlock him (out of Cartel Market)...lets say they sent him to you for free after hitting legacy 50...I would take him out of the mailbox and drop him, as I have absolutely 0...actually make that less than 0....a negative number....in having an Ewok Companion. I don't care if he is the best tank, dps, healer...or combo of all 3. I don't want him. I don't understand why so many people are making a big deal out of Treek. Xalek, on the other hand. I never actually used him on my Assassin. I stuck with Ashara. On my Sorc, though, I plan on using him once I get him.
  6. I do not have this issue. After reading this, I tested it. I've never had the GCD just reset for no reason. I've also never had the ability cooldown start late. This is in PVE. I haven't tested PVP as it hold no importance to me. I think I do a Warzone or two a month, maybe. I don't have the best machine, either, so it isn't anything special on my end.
  7. I see a lot of people mentioning dirty kick on smuggler...this ability was not changed...it is still there. Don't freak out. The ability that was removed was SAVAGE Kick, a sith warrior move, that required the target to be stunned. I leveled a juggernaut and think I used savage kick a total of 2 times, and those were both by accident. I leveled an assassin, and think I used Tumult once, just to see how it was, and didn't like it. I don't mind loosing these abilities myself.
  8. I wish there was something in between 3 and 4 as well. Tall, big, muscular, but not a damn steroid taking body building ***...I roll 3s on all my characters because 2 is too small and 4 is too fat....but having something right in between 3 and 4 would be great for me.
  9. Even 22 is a little high...16 you can have 1 of every AC from both sides....so 22 characters you are doubling up on some of your characters...I can see if they raised the starting cap from 13 to 16, and if you really want to unlock more slots with the cartel, fine, but more than 22? Really? I'll sign, I guess, but only to bump up to 16 (for subs) by default, and a limit of, say, 40 with cartel purchases...no one really needs that many characters, on one server or spread out.
  10. I agree...the caps on the comms are crazy, especially the 50 planetary comms. I hit that with a new character before they even had the chance to even buy anything thanks to a lot of drops and quest rewards....Should not be forced to take a crap piece of gear over a comm because the comm (or comms in some cases) would disappear into the great void. Even worse when you do a quest and the only reward is comms, so you get nothing from that...
  11. Glad to know I'm not the only one that feels this way...I know there was someone in my guild that said something similar...I think it is just stupid that I was capped at 15, could not upgrade anything I had any further, and could not buy the new lightsaber yet thanks to not being 16...I counted, I had 3 coms vanish into nothing. I had stopped choosing coms as my reward, this was 3 mob drops after I had already hit the 50/50 at level 15. I don't know what Bio was thinking dropping the cap to 50....quite possibly one of the worst ideas ever.
  12. Before 2.0, each planet alone had a larger cap that the cap of all planets together...why? I have just created a new character on a new server, and at level 15, I have 42/50 coms, and there is nothing I need or want to purchase, except a new lightsaber, which I can't get until I am level 16...as it is going right now, I will hit 50 and have some coms go to waste before I even get 16....this needs to be adjusted. I understand that we are being encouraged to spend our coms more now than we used too, but 50 is just way too low....it should be 200 in my opinion, because there are times when I don't want the reward, so I choose a com, but there is nothing from the com vendors I need, or want, so I save them...should I be punished by getting no reward simply because a planet has nothing for me? Please up the cap to 200, at least, if not higher.
  13. Enjoy WoW...I personally think Blizzard drove the game into the ground. Started out a great game with Vanilla, then BC hurt it. It was still a great game. Then comes WotLK and EZ mode....even hard mode dungeons were EZ mode...people would hit level 80 and that day be in Hard Mode dungeons and raids. Stll a decent game then, but was steadily declining. Then comes cataclysm...Blizzards way to pump life back into their game, and this hurt it more than most people want to admit...I played for a while through cata, but Just could not get myself into it the way I did vanilla through even Wrath. Then there was the announcement for Mists of Pandaria....we are going to add kung fu panda and pokemon to WoW, and that was the death of WoWs soul to me. I believe I would still be playing WoW, at least off and on, today, had it not been for Pandaria. I just can't bring myself to even reinstall it. So you say SWTOR has no Soul...I say Blizzard traded WoWs soul to attempt to keep their massive game alive a little longer.
  14. So...the game has 2 wraths? When you play through the Sith warrior story line, you become his wrath, and when you play through the jedi knight story line, you meet lord scourge, who happens to be the emperor's wrath. Is there more? Are there supposed to be 2? I was under the impression there was only 1 wrath, and since I created and played my sith warrior first, He is the real wrath and lord scourge is a fake (at least that is what I like to tell myself). If anyone knows the truth of this, let me know, as it is really bugging me. Or, if you have any theories as to what is going on.
  15. Love this idea. I was hoping for this soon after release, since the crafting is crazy on this game...1 hour to get a few blue quality crafting mats and another hour to use em....would be nice to be able to do it away from the pc every now and then.
  16. This is something I have been wanting for some time now, a breakdown on how much XP you actually got for doing a space combat mission. I don't mean the final little box with the rewards, but maybe something similar. A box that pops up at the end breaking down how much XP you earned and how you earned it....for example, "N" xp for fighters, "N" xp for frigate turrets, "N" xp for whatever....also would be nice to see in the same box how much xp you earned for each bonus class. I tried to keep up with the xp myself once....just keeping up with the fighters was near impossible, let alone every other thing. I know this is something that isn't needed, after all, space missions are just for fun with a little extra xp, but I'm one of those people who just likes to see what all I did....I know the bonus was to kill 50 fighters, or one of the bonuses was anyway....but how many total did I actually kill....and how much xp was that worth to me. I blew up the bottom of the listening station, but I have no clue how much it was worth for the kill and the bonus because the scrolling xp gets pushed off to fast from killing those fighters nearby as well. Just a suggestion....even being able to turn it off and on for those that just don't care
  17. I would like to see Wookie and Togorian, lets bring bigger aliens into the game, not the standard human model. But if you bring in the big races, people will want the small races too. Edit: Would like to see T'landa Til in the game, not as a playable race, but maybe as NPC/questgivers kinda like the Hutts...they are related after all.
  18. Thanks for this...I was just about to ask about my gunslinger's portable cover...I noticed it didn't give me a shield next to targets name or "cover" as a message when getting shot at, nice to know it does block some damage though, but I'll be looking for natural cover alot more often now.
  19. Sweet, thanks guys...I don't know why I didn't see it earlier...I will look for it again when I am able to log on again...hope it is tonight, but will most likely be tomorrow thanks to these damn errors.
  20. Yeah, that would be nice too...especially when wearing more than 1 moddable item
  21. Where....I have looked all over the place, when I am actually able to log on for more than 30 seconds without an error 9000 problem occuring, and I haven't seen it...
  22. Hey, I have looked everywhere, and can't find this. Needs to be added to game...pressing a button to be able to compare the item your mouse is over to your companions instead of yourself...I hate having to open up the character screen, selecting companion, then looking to see what is on and what I just recieved to decide which is better....so much easier to just hover and see. Maybe holding CTRL will compare your items on your companion and ALT to compare the ship upgrades...I don't know...just something so I don't have to bounce back and forth.
  23. At the current rate, it will eventually. As long as SWTOR is continually polished and WoW keeps getting content like Cata and Pandas/Pokemon, then it won't take too long. WoW is starting to show its age...it might be able to pull off a few more years, but the subscriptions are dropping steady right now, and will continue to fall unless they pull off some crazy Houdini crap and make the game awesome again.
  24. Of course SWG wasn't a WoW clone...it was out before WoW, and it was a sandbox, not themepark.
