Jumping in battle is cool.
I make my shadow tank jump and launch Project at a mob as opener. Jump and - bam! Mob gets a rock in the face. Or a droid, teehee.
Force Pull is another great opportunity to jump because it has both you and the pulled mob in the air at the same time. But the thing I love most about shadow tank is the Spinnig Kick. I can run in, jump and roundhouse kick a mob in mid-air. Timing Spinning kick with Force Pull will make people drool in jealousy. JK's Force Leap is just awesome when activated from a jump and really shines when you're jumping from a higher position. First boss in S&V gives you the opportunity to jump right back onto him from mid-air. Can't beat aerial acrobatics.
We need more jumping. One of my most epic jumps was at the start of Kademimu flashpoint. Guildie was tanking with her guardian and pushed the first droid off the ledge just as I used Leap. Subsequent freefall resulted in a death but it was terrifyingly awesome as it happened unexpectedly. XD
what i have run with is most of the pulls in the raider HM, i love it when the tanks pull non stop when i heal it no one ever die .. i love that one pull just before the first boss, i tell the tank go in you wont die he doesn't when I heal it .. and that boss is so much fun to heal , i love it when both dogs attack me .. no stress makes me a better more alert healer ..

Personally, I see SWTOR's "crowd control" rather as an "person control", thus it should be rather abbreviated as "PC" to reflect that correctly, but nobody does it.
Because SWTOR's CC is rather person-orientied; there are not that many crowd-oriented "control-effects" in SWTOR; as far as I know.
Plus, these CC effects are divided into "mezz", "stun", "root" etc. .
My use is very limited I use most of the time solo , which it is great then .. if i get to many etc .. in ops if its needed the group may have major issue later on in the ops on the harder stuff etc . I'm glad its there . but most don't use it but like you said or how i do ..

It doesn't support paypal because use of paypal requires a web interface, which would defeat the purpose of being able to purchase in-game in the first place.
There is a way to still use Pay pal or have it come out of your Pay pal account .. IF you have a pay pal debit Card you can still have it come out of your pay pal there is no charge to your Debit card ... fee wise ..
SO pay pal is still use able just not a direct purchase off your pay pal account with out the use of a debit card ..
I just did it in game , so i know it works .. ":) ...

..when they say : Subscribers receive a 50% discount on the first purchase made using the in-game feature.
they do indeed mean one click one time buy ..

Yeah I wouldn't recommend that. Gonna have some highly pissed off people if they suddenly re-add restrictions to the rated sets. I've already gone and slapped a set of mods and augments in one of the sets and was planning on doing it again with another character.
there would be a few , i honestly hope if they do they let you all know ... if they don't shame on them .. i know a few on my server selling it like crazy they claim ..

Alright everyone, here is the scoop. The patch note is correct to what our intent was, unfortunately the 3 items (2 crystals and a mount) which are on the PvP Items vendor were missed with the change. Our intent is still to remove the rating required from those items and that change is planned to happen in 2.4.3.
This will have no effect on the current Valor requirement, that is something separate from rating and there are currently no plans to change that.

They removed the requirements for items people had already bought so they could still equip them after the rating reset.
They need to explain just what they did or ment to do so we don't second guess them like we are now ..

There are two crafted PVP sets though.....one requires a valor rank and the other one is "rated" gear which requires a certain number PVP rating.
The warr hero gear that I remeber had valor 70 not rank 70 and warr hero has it removed , some one all ready showed that the war hero cambat tech stuff still has 70 valor so we wait to see .. and BM has valor 60 .. and valor is a rating they need to be more to the point just what they mean .. i looked at all my warr warr hero stuff it has no valor or rating on it atm but the all BM stuff does and i could care less if hey leave it or take it off I'm valor 63
OK i just relooked now it shows right when i looked after the patch all his warr hero stuff had no rating or valor
now its showing like others say how ever they still need make it clear ..

...seriously, it's only because I'm lazy.

Battle master Crafted gear still has valor 60 and the war hero has none my warr can make both all but the skater set ,and that set some how got deleted from his book
I'm not gonna ticket it. i don't when he lost it or even how to prove it .. -

Except that end-game quality barrels from offhand knives can only be put in other knives. Good try, though.
the off hand armoring is the same if you don't want to have it made .. some don't .
BTW when i ask in game if there is a Legacy knife yet. i get all kinds 0f feed back there is no legacy off hand , instead of saying that's not what i asked i don't say anything any more... they gave me my answer..

There is a true legacy main and off hand in one .. it even say MH /OH and works like one but as some one stated below, before 2.0 there was no need for a legacy knife , shield focus etc .. to me, i think that was just a over sight they have not got around to giving it to us yet . what they may do is up date the tool tips on the LMH//OH we have now .. but i would not count on it .. that might be to much work or harder then it seem , it might be easyer to just give us the knife etc as legacy ..
I'm sure that was just a over sight they have to do yet..

Centurion and champion gear are no longer available anywhere. Battlemaster looks almost the same, with different colours and very slightly different mask. Those can be crafted by people who bought the schematics when they were available (like me). So you either ask in general chat if someone can craft Battlemaster Force Master/Force mystic/Survivor/Stalker sets, or look on the GTN for one of those 4. Note that the crafted versions (which are the only ones you'll manage to get your hands on) can only be worn if you have valor rank 60 or more
After tomorrow if i read the patch notes right no ranking on any pvp gear ? .
SO wait till tomorrow .
I'm guessing that's what this means :
Removed Rating requirements from all PvP items, if items means all pvp stuff, including armor ..

my Sorc has the Full battle master set , i'm a very happy owner , i missed out getting the Centurion set , i want it more .. but back then my server was dead and there was not much of any thing going on, i could not run enough PVP to get even close to getting that set ..
BUT when they put in the battle set i was on a new server , i got the full set as fast i could , because i knew some how they were gonna remove it one day ,, and my sorc is wereing nothing but the battle master set moded to pve with Kerg helm hes looks so cool to me . i can't fine a set i like better, other then the Centurion Gear . i want that more but sadly could not get it .. i have the real epic battle master set not the orange made custom set ,, which i can also make on my Warrior which i had the sense enough to buy those Schematic before they were removed .. but i some how lost one set of schematic , i can't get now ether .. no ticket i put in will give it back , i don't have enough info to even try to prove i had it ..
..I can make the Warr hero set to forgot ...

sense win 8.1 was preview till now my mouse has done some really strange things in SW . to the point i was forced to go back to 8.0 when it went RTM . i really thought it was because steel series has been lacking4 in driver updates for there SSE 2 .. till I found that link .. it explains a lot because for me at least i had fixed . my mouse issue in game with the MarkC_Windows_8.x+7+Vista+XP_MouseFix_Builder_2.3 .. and the tweaks to the INI file .

SO ,. for those who upgraded to win 8.1 that might be why .. just reapply the mouse fix and tweaks to the ini , if you did a clean install .. if you did not look up that mouse fix on line .. its helping me atm , thy steel series does need get those drivers updated for win 8.1 so i can adjust down the speeds some more for SW ...

Ironically, I was just telling my wife that we need a Bind to Legacy Offhand for the various classes. The Gree Event is returning again in December. This would be the perfect time to introduce the item(s). It would generate a lot of activity because people would want to get them for the different classes. Come on BW! Give us a Legacy Offhand for the holidays.
These is a legacy off hand , but there is not a generator , shield , focus or knife ... I made a very short post up top with a BIG Please ...the legacy off hand is both a main hand and off hand ...
Why I never ask in game for a legacy off hand in case I missed something in a patch .. I al ways ask is there a legacy knife yet .. any way gl have fun you all heres to hoping we get those legacy things soon ..

you can use the print screen key but for some reason it does'nt to work on the cutscenes (Fraps have a screenshot option)

So is 1 GB of VRAM not enough?
I looked at your CPU .. is the Intel® Hyper-Threading Technology turned off some how, that can take a big hit in performance . ( but can be a debate issue for some i have found if i turn it off I lag , performance drops ) . . if its off your are only using two cores if its on your using fours cores. the settings for it are in your motherboard bios usually and make sure your PC cores are not parked .
set your power options to High performance .. that should Unpark your CPU if it is . or go here

My PC is ancient, I don't care for FPS and all that crap.. its runs as smooth as a babies bum and most setting are on High and I have shadows switched off due to it being a waste and too dark

Everything is all on the same HDD no partitions are SSSD for the programs only, and again I run SWTOR on mainly high settings and everything runs smooth, I know trolls will state otherwise but meh.. its works for me ...somehow so I don't care, Ever runs Splintercell Blacklist smoothly on good graphic settings also
why not up it to win 7 x64 it won't use much more and you can use the full ram and get better use out of your PC ..
SSD can be used the same as a HDD . why most use a second HHD is space, SSD can cost alot the higher the space is .I have a 240 GIB SSD with a 1 TB HDD, i Put win 8.1 and SWTOR on the SSD and any programs i use all the time .. i use the HDD for storage , run one or two other games off it , i don't play much . and run my back up software on the HDD .. if I had a 480 GIB SSD or higher i would run everything on it . HDD are used most of the time for storage because of the cost of SSD . but they seem to be dropping more in price now , more then a year ago and staying there . i mean ive been seeing some 128 GIB SSD staying around 90 $ bucks or less and most 240 to 256 GIB around 149 to 160 .. even the higher end ones seem to be staying down now . despite what happen with that factory that makes nivida cards memory.
why that might be is more and more high space SSD are being released now and really don't cost that much . still to much for me .

can anyone give a time line as to whats in store for US the Pve players sense Dec 3 is next week . I am all for the pvp content incoming but what about Pve now : ) .. ? ..
Any road maps for whats a head for us ?.
