Advance at double the speed this weekend as you fight for the Empire or the Republic in exciting story missions, PvP Warzones and more!
Looking forward to it ..two at 40 + to 50 if not over 50 this weekend ...
..I love leveling to see how many i can get there in the few days you all give us. its fun . only issue i have is i have to many 55 and a lot of work i do with them each week , adding two more,, even more work .. not a complaint @@@@ -
i would like to point out, for players who may not realize this (i see this every occurrence of double xp).
the "monday" end of double xp weekend is deceiving! it ends on the first second of monday (pacific time) meaning you really only have up to sunday night at 11:59 pm (pacific time).

I'm not really being dramatic. I'm just stating what has actually been occurring since the PTS was introduced. Almost every major patch there was a game breaking bug that would never get fixed, would go live, and then the game would go into emergency maintenance the next day. They have moved to smaller patches so thats died down a little, but historically most bugs on the pts go live and usually don't get fixed until a week or two later when they had like over a month to fix it on the pts.
or not fixed at all but given a work around and told it is fixed, one comes to mind they do in fact call fixed that's the gamma . : the gamma slider in game still doesn't work from the day they broke it ( P1.2 ) i think it was .. . like it should at 100 % , if you try to move it in game the screen gets darker or did the other day after a clean install on my PC , I forgot to save the client_settings.ini file. which is np for me sense i don't use full screen any way and use a AMD profile to Hot key my PC to my gamma how i want sense I use full screen windowed mode it is much more stable in game . NO other game I play does that, there in game gamma setting work :
100 % bright and the lower you move the bar the darker it gets.
not here move it any way, it gets darker on full Screen mode only ..and the fix here is add gammaramp = 1.5 or above to the client_settings.ini, if I remember right , don't know for sure sense i stopped using full mode when they told us that .. went to windowed full screen which is better .

I doubt anybody was chewed out, because having to delay bringing the PTS server out for a couple of days in order to get some more bugs fixed simply isn't a very big deal!
. no not for a delay i didn't say that for bad info imo this was bad info in most job I've done jumping the gun would get you in hot water .
Or saying some things etc without really making sure make's you lose face to me that's what clearly happen here . ...
And EA does that a lot but it has got a lot better, this was new gourd for EA .. I've never ssen a gaming company make as many mistakes as this one does or let a bug go on for so long in my 20 + years of playing MMO ..+ side they keep there word on most major release dates not pts dates .. that to me alone is very impressive ..
but i guess I'm wrong there to ..

just put it up anyways you guys seem to leave most of the bugs in when it goes live anyways.
Sad part i had them once come back and tell me they knew about it but because it was not game breaking they let them pass .. my comment at time may have not been what hey wanted to hear sense i get the cold shoulder treat meant from them on the forums sense . but in game i still get awesome CSS if i need it which i don't use much they have fixed a lot but then others things they were fixed are re broke for weeks months etc ..
no meanness intended by my comment .. i do in need highly respect you all but some times, well you know ... .
but I can wait to see what new bugs are coming and what new fresh idea we might be getting .

Because, for some unfathomable reason, some people in this thread are trying to organize a special raid schedule to get on the PTS and do NiM DF. The only reason they would care about when exactly the PTS will be available is so they can compete for world first PTS kills....which is completely ridiculous.
and i love BW for this you can also bet it won't be how it is on the PTS when its goes to live serves. there is no achievements , I am a ware of like there use to be for first or helping on the PTS. which I do any way, i love testing bug's and don't need a reason to .
so if its tomorrow Wednesday or Thursday i just hope it is before next month i can wait I will be testing it a few days giving some feed, then back each new update for a day ..

its going to be around for a month, why would it matter exactly what time they put it up?
more closer to two months if they follow the road map they gave us on release dates, so yea whys should it matter if they can or can't before us .. i might want to ask , EU Players that get stuff before us do we complain ? . no most of us don't in the US .

Try to log on its not but they said above not till Wednesday then Thursday , so we wait and see i guess .....
And i am willing to bet some one is getting there but chewed out for bad info , even thu we will never know .
I was Manager once a upon a time, so I know whats goes on behind closed doors so to speak and its still the same as it was 20 years ago . ) ... they may tell us DIff but won't prove it , well any way that said ..
I am very much looking forward to testing it a few days ...

Well, the Patch was already available like 20-30 minutes ago. The Server on the other hand is not online yet.
it just let me down load a patch for it or some thing , but wont let me on . now if that was a real patch makes me wonder there was no notes not PIC in the launcher

ESO is not that great, i was in the beta all most from the start i won't be buying it ,,
EQNL is looking GOOD , I'm in that atm is all i can say I'm under NDA .. ..

you all do know WOW has done this very thing but with higher level toon's in panda ? .. it's nothing new but there improvements on it . can be
. WOW call's it scenarios .
. but how else will they add ideas but some one Else's idea and wow didn't Dream up scenarios . it kind of all started at the END of EQ, 1 ,( YES I'm aware of EQ 1 is still played and I'm in the Landmark alpha under NDA, so can't say much )
.if anyone remembers those timed runes in a type of FP setting, i forget the name of them . in EQ 1 .

For example level 21 Operative doesn't have access to "66 purples".
Why it should be for players who only have overgeared characters?
I'm sure well see hard mode if I didn't need the part drops or rep tokens, trust me, ( no complaint's ether ). i have no reason to run them expect for may be a weekly , if there is one . i haven't fully played with 2.6 yet .
But I agree this is a nice step in the right path .
Those that normally don't get to run with there level 50 friends can now .

I am aware that when they designed SWTOR they sat down and copied every single aspect of WoW, because they thought it's a surefire recipe for success (and we all know how well that worked out for them!). But even when you look at WoW: Raids, raids, raids isn't the -only- thing they added. If I am not totally mistaken, they added significant open world content with every expansion too, much more than we saw added to SWTOR so far. When I look at the 2014 roadmap...it's still an awful lot about "instances with scripted boss fights" (both operations and FPs fall under that category).
I don't claim this to be representative at all, but I know a lot of people who quit SWTOR. And every single one of them I talked to (yes, is in 100%) named the endgame as one of the major reasons they left. I know that a lot of people love raiding and there is nothing wrong with it. I am not saying "stop adding raids". But I -am- lobbying for a more balanced approach. To me, SWTOR's biggest strength was always the story content, and in in particular the possibility to play it with friends in a meaningful way, thanks to the multiplayer dialogue mechanism, that to the best of my knowledge is still unique in all MMOs out there. I don't quite understand why they don't add more of what they're really good at and instead add content they're competing against 20 other MMOs with, but maybe it's just me.
(PS: I love the Bounty/Rakghoul events you named as an example. That's the stuff I'd like to see more of. Right now there is quite frankly not enough non-raiding content around to keep a non-raider busy, these events are still too far and between.)
Wow's next expac is adding HM as a group thing with a higher mode for guilds like SW does now ( unofficial in SW ) but pug's do HM a lot sometimes like guilds run them , I've done a few Pug's in HM and impressed how well they do and a few in NIM to see how Pug's do in them which OFC Is not well .
AS for me and SW I play it to have fun . i do what i want when i want some days or weeks i just do daily's . and some days or weeks i raid HC. I enjoy the whole game .

I hope the performance improvements are really noticeable. Besides that, i am really excited to see what we will be getting in the coming months, I am really excited about the new FP's on Korriban and Tython, and the new expansion that will be similar to Rise of the Hutt Cartel, i am guessing it will be a new level cap! up to 60!
Like adding the mantle API and D11 Support they have hinted at one time or another no Support for D11 may ever come or 64 bit for that matter . that would be so awesome other wise if it happen . but I'm not counting on it , just something i dream about i know never will never happen in this Version of SW the next MMO SW to come out will or should have all the things that should be any MMO starting with new ideas coming .
IF EA learned any thing i would hope that was a listen learned .

A question I all ways have and one of my BEEF how are trades and RE ? i mean whats the state of them gonna be like . DO you all care about them any more can we expect something exciting with trades ( I hope ) ?.
When the first NIM comes out . How Will trades work ? . Will 78s be reable , should I keep saving up 78 's to re etc , I know some of it will have no value ( because 75 can not be REED ) and may be hilts .relics, Enhancements will have a nice value.. I won't add ears, implants to the list for reason we all know . notice not asking on any cybertech stuff it's gone imo ..

Mantle idea was implemented in the past and failed... Now amd promised mantle, but they postponed it because its buggy.... and we dont know what is all about.
They showing us videos of performance, but without comparison (before and after) ! ... so.... I dont trust it much.
I was ready to get an amd gpu, but since they postponed it, i got a gtx780 for now, for better drivers support.
Now, if mantle ger released and proves that it works and have lots of support, I will change gpu to AMD, but something tells me, there is a long way till that time. Either ways, next year amd gpu releases going to be good.
The r9 290 and 290x, are hot... even the custom solutions, get hot and this heat stays inside the box. I live in a hot country, so hot+ hot = fire
I was between r9 280x CF vs gtx780 and I pick the 1 card solution for now.
PS: a question, you speak that battlefield have 25% increased performance, did they released it? Or in theory?

so heres the idea, most of people have cheap cpus... its a good idea for boosting their performance, so we can have unlimeted draw distanse... lol
Don't count on it , i would love to see it to but wouldn't that mean 64 bit support to use it right .and now the way SW is its can't even support D9 stablely at times just mo .. and i won't even go there with the present FM2 + APU how they really are atm how the MB so called support with Windows it seems sux big time . i did say windows seems Linux is super. i use windows so i got to deal with it and use a off chip video card till its sorted .
BTW AMD Just released thsoe beta drivers I'm very impressed with the drivers sense i have no use for mantle .
the drivers with no mantle AP are awesome as well .

seriously if someone is angry about a guy not being geared in ranked that's different but in regs someone has to start gearing somewhere and that's the place to start. Plus, I want a more effective kick system too but imagine how it would be abused and used by people such as that guy to kick out anyone who are just starting. IN REGS.
sigh the other day i zone in to a Hutt ball being me there for fun some guy right a way start's reading off the do's and don't i can and can't do like i really care then he told me he would ban me i was like you better black list me now and do your self a favor i left ofc because at that point if I got the ball i would have made sure we lost .

If they dont want PvE'rs to PvP they need to stop putting superior relics to what you can get from anything but the highest Tier of PvE content on PvP vendors, it's that simple.
I do a bit of PvP on my Guardian, but because the relics are so accessible I dragged my Gunslinger through a couple of weeks of PvP matches as well, and am considering doing the same on my commando as Arkanian/UW relics take more effort to acquire and are markedly inferior, and the chances of a tertiary character getting DG drops are pretty slim.
I have to agree , until i get a good framing group for the real PVE bis relic, I'm gonna run them all in 78 for the relic and now for mounts and other useful things i can use in PVE .

I hope we get something a bit harder than just standard HM, I miss Lost Island HM that was worth playing. Now everything seem to be aimed at new players and totally forgetting majority of well geared players who been very patient so far and not getting much to do apart from replaying the old content or guarding their spot on fleet.
ME to rift has at least three diff modes , they have normal Hard and I forget the name of the next level and it was pretty hard you needed gear for it . a toon under geared for that mode just couldn't zone in and think he was gonna last long .. and I read in wow's next EXPAC three diff raid levels normal , heroic and mystic i think they called it for guilds . wow is wising up imo .. SW has for some time unofficially been doing this for HM and it seems to becoming or has been for some time pug stuff . i don't see many spamming for NIM TFB or SV . even in full 78 that's just hard . hey even EC NIM is hard to some extent for geared 78 if they don't know what there doing .
NIM it seems is a guild thing .
TANK MOUNT anyone been farming it now for a while .

TFB and S&V are Ops, he was referring to FPs. Ops are fine, but some Lost Island-like Fps are definitely needed.
two or three more Lost Island type HM FP would be nice , CZ 198 all most hit it but nothing like the thought put into Lost Island.

i wanted to test this on the PTS but every time i logged on the PTS no one was there or there wasn't enough any place to start a group . i could not get on the PTS the first week . PC issue some what and real life , i was gaming live from time to time . so , i guess i get to see it feb 4th live . learn it then I'm a fast leaner and before you know It, i ll be giving advice or directing noobis thu it , on my geared 55's ...

VERY VERY rare if you buy if off a player it is gonna cost or buy from the vendor for 8 or ten pack tokens and i think full rep but that copy is bop with a unlock once you have the full set . i need the gloves and belt . I can't afford it atm, its all most 50 mill for those two . i could poly get to gather 50 mill in no time but don't feel like that much work to waste .

two runs two levels
.. so yea i get one per run , what i don't see IS that bug some are reporting there that was confirmed does it affect everyone or just a few or should I be getting more then i am ?.
