  1. thing is because you never got the chance to get rid of him before, if or when we pick him up and hopefully have a chance to kill him of this time, im just gonna ignore that he was even there and say that he got killed back then, because that would be a story that made sense. I did the same with Kaliyo, killed her when I got the chance, because no sane person would accept her into the allience anyway, and since I didnt get a chance not to bring her in I got rid of her then
  2. thing is the character dosent have to have gotten over it, cause the player dictates the character, at least that is how it should be in a game that pretends to be an rpg so if you decide that your character has not gotten over the betrayal then there you go, didnt have an option to get rid of him back then, cause despite the fact that it was ment to be posible the option was removed because of some cry babies that couldent handel their choices having consequences
  3. Or not since you dont get an option of getting rid of him, or I belive you would see a lot of people who had gotten rid of him
  4. It will not be different stories, that would mean they had to write different stories, and depending on how different they were they would have a hard time starting a story in another expansion, aside from that they are heavily devoted to the one story fits all idea they have been cooking on since SoR
  5. No one in their right mind choses an risky plan that puts their lives on the line if there is another safer option that is also more likly to work, and thats the problem here, because the story demands big dramatic and risky plans the characters in it is forced to chose those options instead of safer plans that are also more likly to work and the plans always work because the story demands it
  6. yeah thats not going to happen, because that would leave anyone not playing the SI with nothing to do, which meanss they would have to write something for each class which is proven that its not something they want to do
  7. I think it is important here to remember that while Vader was redeemed, he also died, so we did not get to see what would have happend to him after the rebellion was succesful, I find it very hard to belive that even if Luke thought his farther had come back that the rest of reble command would have thought that was enough, especially considering what happend to Alderaan as well as all the other things Vader did.
  8. im not saying there is nothing that could have been done, I am saying this is how things are as they are, lazy writers and or a tight budget
  9. the only reason the high risk plans pay of is because they have to for the story to continue, and many of the things you do accomplish with the plans could have been done with much more resonable plans. And there are other cases like when you bord the eternal fleet ship with scorpio, the "commander" can say that he or she dosent trust scorpio, then it makes a comment and theron basically just wave your concern away with a joke. And that is just the start of the actions that dosent make any sense. LIke when you go to the mandalorian mission it makes cero sense that you would not demand to know where these allies that are supposedly going to help you are comming from before you head there, especially when its introduced with someone saying "well they wont stap you in the back, just shoot you in the front" Or when you are introduced to the scions and Senya without warning pulls her little trick on you, the logical thing would be to leave just then and come back with your allies later, or really if the scions insited that you had to come alone with Senya the logical thing for her, someone who is trying to gain your trust would be to inform you of this before it happens. In short, yes the plans work, but only because of plot armor. The writers know what story they want to tell but they dont know how to get there with logical plans and that is why we have all these insane plans and strokes of luck
  10. First of all here I assume you are talking about Darth Vader, which is the most visable example of this, however we should remember that he did in fact die, so we never got to see what would have happend had he not, which I have no doubt would be a trial and very posibly and execution. Secondly to all the people saying it will be our choice, do you honestly belive that will be the case? with the direction the story telling is going in this game do you honestly belive that something so major will be up to the player? then what if they make another expansion after this? how will the one story model make sense if half the players left him alive and the other did not? it would create too much of a difference, especially considering how the people around you would react. No what is going to happen if we look at how the story has been going so far is that we are going to be presented with Arcann and then something will happen that force our character to ally with him if we wish to or not. And as for all those who think he should be redeemed hell no, at the very least he should be put in a jail cell for what he has done, one can debate the value of killing him but he sure as hell shouldent be allowed to just be let go because he supposedly has a change of heart. Now I personally belive we should kill him, we should have been able to do that when we fought him the first time, especially since we were given the option twice, since we did not get to, I suspect that we will infact be forced to ally with him in the future cause it is clear to me that is the story they want to tell weather or not it makes any sense at all
  11. sure if you belive that by high risk that the plans have to be absolutly insane and illogical then your right, the fact is that we are not infact picking the right plan, the so called commander has no real influence, there is almost no situations in the story where the outlander gives any sort of orders.
  12. You know the real reason why its not a thing right? its because they didnt want there to be differnces between the classes so that they could force the one story fit all that their going with
  13. Yes the outlander is the most inept commander of all time, mostly because he or she is not a commander in anything but name, you dont make any choices and on the rare chance that you even get to state an opinion chances are the rest of the group just overules you. Case in point, when you are of to bord the ship from the eternal fleet you get the option to say that you dont trust scorpio, (I wonder why, couldent be that she is shaddy as **** and everyone is compleatly bind to it because the writers couldent write for ****) meaning that you dont think she should come, then she gives a short speach about how she dislikes the captains cause they are inferior models and theron goes "good enough for me" and thats that, the so called commander had nothing to say at all. The worst thing, is that they could have easily salvaged this inept story, just have Marr or Sateal lead the allience, that way they could still force all the choices and it would make sense cause you wouldent be left feeling that your a commander with no influence.
  14. eh we all know the idiot writers will have us team up with him, not giving us a choice in the matter and then have the "option" of redeeming him, compleate trash, he should have died in the end of Kotfe end of story none of this ******** with keeping him alive despite giving us the option to kill him, twice
  15. Nothing is really going to be different if you accepted his power or not, at the very most you will get a tiny difference in a conversation, but nothing more then that cause it would cost money and they aint happy about that, they want everyone to have the same experience and not "punish" the ones that accepted the power by having their choice mean anything
  16. OWPVP is dead, it was dead because people all left the dedicated pvp servers, and people who didnt sign on a pvp server obviously dosent want to do open world pvp because if they did guess what they would be on a pvp server. Seeing this, and seeing that no one uses the pvp instance aside from killing commanders clearly its not something enough of the playerbase wants.
  17. what they really should do, and should have done a long time ago, is to just remove gear stats entierly from PvP just give people a selection of different stat loadouts for their advanced class when they enter a pvp zone, that way everyone would be on an even playingfield regarding stats and it would only come down to skill.
  18. yeah so Valk ate a planet, two actuallyif you read the Revan novel, but here is the thing, first of the jedi and sith were going at eachother way before he hit the stage so you cant really blame him for that, and yeah he has his fair share of blood on his hands, even more so then your averge sith, Arcann not only has half his knights killed, he has his fleets bombard severel planets, 8 if I remember corectly so no Valk is not in fact more of a murdere then his deer son is, and if he is it is meerly because he has had so much more time to do it in, while Arcann has done it all within the span of 6 years counting all the **** that went down while the outlander was in carbonite
  19. Yeah she didnt hard anyone doing what she did, its not like she saved a mass *********** murdere and betrayed the allience to do so, its not as if it was a secret that we were going to murder the hell out of him. Though ultimatly the biggest betrayal comes at the hands of the writing team I mean really, the "ultimate battle" yeah right **** that and childish fit? what are you even on? of cause people wanted to kill Arcann it was the entier point of the story
  20. really? you liked the chapter where they just spouted strange stuff about a "new way of the force" which is utter crap by the way, and goes against what the star wars univers is all about by the way? It gave you insight? how? what real answers did it actually give you, please I would love to know
  21. you havent read any of the books that takes place in between the old republic area and the time in the movies have you? in any ways weather we like it or not we are only going to get more alience stuff, because splitting the story up in two would be twice as expensive with no benefit to the devs. gotta think with that wallet after all
  22. It was a horrible chapter that showed just how little our choices matter, let alone the fact nothing is resolved, not a damn thing changes, the only thing that somewhat matters is if koth had a hissy fit and stole your ship, and even then, we know that when the new season starts either koth will return with it when we need it, or the people who still have the ship will lose it. This whole expansion has been one case of bad writing after the other.
  23. Lol our choices wont matter a damn thing, because if they did then they would have to make double the content for everything related to Jaesa, so no, they will take the cheap way out and either not put her in, which is most likly, or they will pick a canon version that appears, which will piss of a lot of people
  24. when the writers decided not to do their job anymore and let their kids write the story instead clearly
  25. You do know that wont matter right? I mean hopefully you realise that what will happen in the expansion is that either I do hope that you know this and havent been drinking that deeply of the coolaid that you belive that it will be anything else
