  1. It's somewhat obvious that you don't know what's on the vendors, based on how you talk. You say the items on the VIP vendor were obviously taken from the CE vendor. The problem is there aren't items. There's an item. One. A 1,500,000 credit speeder. That's all. Furthermore, yes, it's entirely possible for it to have been thrown on there at the last minute. I guarantee you they have plenty of extra speeder models, because over time they've made and tried various different ones. In games like these, for every model that gets used there's plenty of extras. All they had to do was take one they had made but not used yet and throw it in there. I have to wonder if you've even been to the VIP area. I personally don't care if people can buy access to it or not, because it's a little platform above the main bar. It has two vendors, and a bartender in it. It existing and being exclusive didn't serve any real purpose, aside from housing the vendor, which it still does just fine. The "normal folk" won't be able to buy from him, just the same, so you don't need to worry.
  2. I don't think anybody wants them to wave a wand. People want them to debug the issue. The way you figure out what's causing it is by asking questions. What were you doing when you noticed it? Is it worse in any specific areas than others? Do certain actions cause more problems than others? Etc, etc. The only official post I've seen on the subject at all basically says "Oh uh... we didn't know it was going to do that. Sorry you're stuck. Give us name and server and we'll move you". People are stuck unable to complete their quests there, including class quests, leaving them unable to progress or do anything else with their characters essentially. I and several others randomly have the game eat every last bit of RAM on our machines before either crashing the game or the whole system on us, while we're on Taris. It's a serious issue they need to be doing their darnedest to fix asap. Not simply avoiding up the problem by moving people away from it, and expecting them to never need to go back to the planet. There are numerous graphical glitches, animation glitches, inconvenient bugs like companions disappearing every time you change areas, resources not being able to be gathered, and others. Most things aren't giant, game destroying things like the Taris issues. However when every few minutes you're running into some annoying issue or other that should not be there, it makes it hard to remain positive about things.
  3. They are in fact one time use. However they also give ridiculously good rewards. Usually a Rich or Plentiful yield in multiple categories. They also seem to have a guaranteed "crit" chance, as they always seemed to return artifact-level materials when I did them. The cost of the missions is easily worth it, at least for scavenging, as the artifact-level scavenged metals it returns are easily 500+ credits each.
  4. From what I understand, Nar Shadaa has a cross-faction GTN.
  5. I went back and made some Combat Enforcer shotguns, and was able to get the Redoubt Combat Enforcer recipe from them. However I had tried before, with lower level shotguns and wasn't able to find any blue recipes, even after dozens of crafts. 6. The problem is that last bit. You can have the strongest processor in the world, and all the RAM you can fit, but without a dedicated graphics solution, you're going to have major issues enjoying any sort of game. The computer is fine, and powerful, but it's not going to run this game very well simply because of the lack of a graphics card. APUs are becoming more popular, and they may be able to make laptops a more viable option for gaming, but the currently available versions, such as AMD Fusion, are based on slightly older architecture as it is.
  7. He was asking about craftable ones. We were told there were new recipes added for the professions to allow them to make crafted, fully-moddable versions of the various sets. I do believe they said they would be found, probably via investigation or underworld trading.
  8. He originally had posted that it was 8am CST right now, which made it 7 AM for him in EST. He edited his post twice after that, changing the CST time first, then his own. They just posted at the right time that it caught the first change.
