  1. I can only speak for myself and have refrained from comments.

    Here I go lol.

I have read this entire thread and mostly agree with all the points. Like I said tho I can only speak for myself. I can and do solo q, when I do and have little to no back up I get focused almost out of the game. This doesn't bother me per say other than I understand I should never be left alone to do what I can do.

I group up mostly to fly with friends and a little back up so I can breath a little hehe. I get asked to group and ask to group frequently. As anyone who really knows me I fly with everyone and leave the BS/politics etc. to others. I will pick up anyone who wants to fly with me from a new guy to the most stacked team you can produce at any one time. I really don't care for singling out for individual players to be or get focused. Drives me kinda batty. On one hand any attention I get I consider flattery and the other a little grief when its one or two dudes who go way out there way to get to me.

So I tend to group more than solo q. :)

As far as the shuffle goes it does happen all the time. Not really a problem per say. You can not control when, why, or how a person swaps sides. Its just personnel preference. Keeping the teams equal on both sides is something that can be done only with all involved in one voice channel to sync the q from both sides...

Even then the matchmaking can and will screw this up. Its not guaranteed and when the sync doesn't work somebody will be rofl stomped.

To put it short there is really nothing we can do to make the game more enjoyable for all the people period. So keep q'ing and keep playing how you all seem fit to play and let the BS go. Happy flying! ;)

  2. Thoroughly enjoyed the match listed above!

Also a tip for new guys:

My Condor was tier one and below so to do the best to help my team I resorted to ninja sniping. Pick your targets carefully and shoot and take cover or flee. Do not try to stand toe to toe with any mastered ship. Just get in a good hurting shot so the enemy is weaker for the next guy. Don't get all hung up on getting kills. Also pick targets that are already hurt for the kill shot. As you can see at the end I only had 3 kills but 10 assists, the assists helped way more than the kills. Fly smart and of course "fly casual"! ;)

  3. How quickly u forget how I embarassed you when u had sriiiaa and draelick on your team. 2 very top players and u still lost Skywalkerr.

Guys like you with your wild claims are the reasons I need these things on twitch so good guys like Drakkolich can watch and see the truth rather than heresay

    Still don't see your point I had 15 kills/assists

    You had 13 kills/assists

Good delusion you have there! :o

  4. @Lendul

I transferred to Harb in 2013-2014 when Flyboys and Assassins was run by Greenbay so no confusion there. ;)

I also know that when Despair or Flyboys and Assassins were group q'ing people used to complain about us all the time not being fair. No names mentioned. ;) We all stopped grouping for the most part due to killing the q's. And some fliers moved on to other games and European servers for a fresh start. Jawa's Order became the place were Despair fliers transferred to when Flyboys and Assassins was dissolved .

Also the only fliers that gave us any real trouble was Willie, Myxon etc. I don't remember anyone else being anything other than a target hehe. This was all before super serious nights and transfers that occurred later. :)

And to not derail this thread further Gone Sithing and Jawa's Order are two of the guilds with active GSF organized nights currently. :D

  5. I know of many guilds that play GSF, but I struggle to think of any active guilds whose focus is GSF or whose reason for being formed was GSF. Flyboys and Assassins used to be that guild, but in has been defunct for quiet some time.

Flyboys and Assassins was the pub guild of Despair. Both are no longer active in GSF anymore. Some of the fliers are but not guild driven GSF.

  6. Putting a single ship on your bar has nothing to do with any team tactic.

Unless its a T2 scout built to tank the opposing team so to speak. All evasion and mobility built to harass and pull the entire opposing team to follow you. Leaving sats and being "the" target in TDM.

It starts with the psychological tactic that the opposing team may think your an ace(only one ship on bar). Which naturally draws the attention of the opposing team.

For this to be effective though you kinda have to "be" an ace LOL. Otherwise its just a trick hehe.

  7. Yes it can be in my experience.

But like in GSF its all about how you fly to the strengths of the ships. The pubs are easier to fly well. The Imps are like hard mode but very effective in the right hands.

Instead of power level settings you only have to slow down to maximize your fire power and speed up for engine max.

The Hero ships are really strong. In the right hands they can swing the match completely either side. The Falcon can just hit shield and ram Slave one, big advantage. Concentrated fire on either can take them out tho.

Just my two cents is don't get hung up on dying it will happen! The AI ships can and do fly into you sometimes. hehe And pick your fights carefully! ;)

  8. Come on guys almost a thousand posts!

    JK ;)

The fact we have had noooo.... dev responses to this thread is disheartening to say the least. Keep up the good fight! If anyone is interested I have my suggestions buried on one of the first five or so pages.

Edit: page 8 to be exact!
