  1. I believe they are saying that as a DPS: As a jugg tank I use all the time but if you're playing a DPS jugg then you rarely have a chance to use it if the tank is doing their job.
  2. Erichough is more or less correct. I leveled as a full Immortal juggernaut and played that way until 1.4 came out when I switched to hybrid and have not looked back. One important thing he missed is that hybrid spec reduces the cooldown of Force Scream by 25% allowing you to benefit from Sonic Barrier more often. So the hybrid has better survivability and single target damage, essentially the same single target threat at the cost of worse rage generation, AoE damage, and AoE threat. I don't like the full Immortal build because the top half of the tree exists primarily to offset the uniquely high resource penalty of our tanking stance while not offering much in the way of survivability or treat/damage gain. Also I find the current implementation of Crushing Blow horrible. It barely does more damage then our default rage dump at a higher cost with a cumbersome AoE tacked on. To proc the AoE you need 5 stacks of the armor debuff and the only efficient way to place those is to use Smash followed by Sundering Assault making it an AoE that I can only use quickly on targets I have already hit with my main AoE. This causes two problems. It makes a joke of Crushing Blow not breaking CC because Smash will. Also in most of the fights where I'd want another AoE it is because the enemies are spread out and Smash won't get them all or they come as adds part way through the fight and I rarely found Crushing Blow useful in those situations.
  3. I agree that the Immortal Spec needs work. The top half of the tree is almost worthless. Having said that I love my Jugg tank ever since switching to to the hybrid spec. AoE tanking can be frustrating at times but the cc immunity after leap is wonderful as is a 9 sec Force Scream/Barrier.
  4. This is little tricky. A Guardian has the hardest time keeping agro but requires less work to stay alive. A Shadow has a much easier time keeping agro but requires the most work (button pushing) to stay alive.
  5. This has happened to my group twice now too, causing two wipes.
  6. I am having the same issue. The game was running fine before 1.4, now I cannot turn the camera without getting headache inducing "skipping". I have tried turning off shadows, turning all graphics settings down to the lowest levels and running windowed, none of that has helped. Edit: If I am indoors and switch to Windowed (fullscreen) mode it helps. But outdoors it still has the issues.
  7. My merc is not my main so despite being 50 I have limited end game experience with this AC. Healing Spec Merc, PvE only 1) I rarely if ever see/play with/hear about heals spec Merc. 2) Respeced after 1.2, no plans to go back to healing. Pryo Spec Merc, PvE only 1) Most people seem to think it's a lesser version of the Powertech Pyro and at best middle of the road DPS. 2) I really enjoy playing my Pyrotech but it is my only DPS character so I don't have a good frame of reference for how it compares to other classes. I do feel it is a little over reliant on the RNG for dumping heat though and not having an interrupt is *very* hard to adjust to.
  8. PvE tank, Immortal Spec. 1: Gets the job done but the worst of the tanks overall. 2. The top half of the Immortal Tree is worthless. I'd respec to the hybrid tank if I did not think it's far more likely you are going to nerf it then fix Immortal. Noticeably lower damage and much harder time getting AoE threat early in a fight then the other tanks without being appreciably better at anything. Also melee seems to be MUCH worse off in this game then ranged characters with a lot of bosses and groups having a large amount of PBAoE CC and damage yet melee classes don't get any more tools to deal with these.
  9. Her name is Mistress Amaran in the combat training area of the fleet, hopes this helps!
