  1. I believe they send ninjas to your home to assassinate you. At least I think that was what I had to bury in the back yard this morning. Might have been my neighbor coming home drunk again and forgetting which window was his.
  2. Yep. I was the missing group member in a couple of games yesterday. No clue why it happened.
  3. Well thanks for the compliment, but I should have mentioned long win streaks will cause me to quit playing for awhile almost as fast as long losing streaks. Almost. Not that I've had more than two or three of those streaks even though I pvp every day on several servers and across both factions. But no way will I lie and say winning isn't more enjoyable than losing as a general rule because no one would believe me anyway! I should add I have been known to feel sorry for a team we're beating really bad and feed them a kill or two or let them have a score, as long as it can't cost us the game.
  4. Actually, while it would require extra up front energy to find a premade, it would be more energy efficient in the long run due to a much higher win rate and anyone who has played a lot of pvp is bound to know it. But for various reasons, some of which I've listed, running a premade simply isn't enjoyable for some people. And isn't an MMO supposed to be enjoyable? Because I'm paying for it, so it better be! Aside from extortionate dental costs, I can't think of too many experiences I pay for that I detest more than I detest getting stomped by premades as a solo queue player. Okay, I thought of another one. Standing in line to pay car taxes and fees. So annoying!
  5. I think you're right, I don't think it will change until we have cross server. I already voted with my wallet on this issue. As much fun as some premades have stomping pugs (and I think you're right about that one, too) I've never seen a pug enjoy getting stomped and I certainly don't. So I unsubbed and erased my CC. When my weeks are done, I'll be done until and unless something changes for the better. I'm just not going to keep playing a game that frustrates me.
  6. I know it seems like a little thing, but I'm really disappointed that the closest we get to long hair options are a few spinster buns. Yeah, it probably has to do with clipping issues and such, but GW2 seems to have either overcome or ignored the problem and in future expansions, SWTOR should do the same. I'm a hippie girl in real life, what can I say? My hair is down to my butt, and I like it that way in game, too.
  7. I never said they shouldn't allow premades. I just don't think they should allow premades to mix with pugs. We don't belong together, we don't like each other. Nearly every thread on this subject on this forum proves that.
  8. Terrible thought and definitely a possibility. Hopefully the gear will be reasonably priced enough to make that unlikely, although some people will buy credits regardless. Just like they'll buy hacks and leveling services and accounts.
  9. You know nothing about me at all, of course, and reading a bunch of forum posts, then going all Dr. Phil won't help you. Therefore, I wish you hundreds of fat, drunken, murderous, pork rind eating children.
  10. I never asked to be able to solo and beat premades. I only ever asked not to have to try. Random vs random. Premade vs premade. I don't even care if you premades get better, shinier gear that cures cancer for running premades, just as long as you (and your gear) can't ruin our random games.
  11. It's 7 a.m. here on the East Coast, even earlier on the West Coast. Unless you're in Europe, right now is the worst time of day to pvp in this game.
  12. The difference between random socializing in random groups and pugs and joining a guild and being in vent every day is like the difference between going out dancing with strangers and going home with them. What is it about me that makes men want to tell me their life story? Their prior convictions, upcoming trial dates for spouse abuse, mental health and substance abuse issues, the fact that they eat pork rinds every morning for breakfast, the fact that after 4 hours of conversation between farming mobs they're madly in love and want me to have their babies.... I'm a creep magnet. So thanks very much, but I'm going to keep my socialization to a level where I feel comfortable, and anyone who suggests I do otherwise is welcome to all those people I just described. I wish you hundreds of fat children.
  13. Sure, until the Orkin man shows up. Actually the fact that he's part if a hive mind doesn't bother me. I grew up reading sci-fi, for crying out loud. I just found his early conversations tepid. Maybe it gets better, though.
  14. My God! Is there anything you people don't want to nerf?
  15. *Snicker* I like Sun Tzu, though. That album he put out recently with Wu-Tang Clan was killer. Wasn't it called 'The Art of Improperly Applying Ancient Warfare Philosophy to Damn Near Everything in a Futile Effort to Sound Smart?' Pretty sure that's what it was called.
  16. It's not sorc or any other class causing it. From what I've seen in 10-49, Imp has more premades, plus more people that pvp regularly (practice!), plus I have noticed a lot of Rep queue in the teens and 20s but not so many in the 40s while Imp generally does have level 40s in their games.
  17. When I pug, I'm still playing with other people. You can't redefine social to fit your definition (vent premade, I guess?). Okay, you can redefine it all you want, but no one is buying it.
  18. That's true, it is the parents job, but they don't do a very good job sometimes, so maybe we should all keep that in mind when we're slinging advice around. I play because I do enjoy social interaction in my MMOs, to a point. I start getting uneasy when I spend a lot of time in vent with a group of people I don't know, though, and that tends to be standard when you join a guild and pvp. It wouldn't be so bad if we had vent for pugs, because it would be different people coming and going, but that isn't an option. I keep my socializing at the level where I feel comfortable. Plus, I actually do enjoy pug pvp where the group actually comes together and coordinates well. It does happen, and it's neat to experience. But it can't happen if we're getting constantly rolled by over-leveled, over-geared, over coordinated premades. It's not fair because it's not an even playing field. (I should add I'm female and that does tend to create extra tension. I get hit on, a lot as soon as someone hears me in vent or for whatever reason decides I really am female.)
  19. I'm on the forum and I just woke up. Maybe I had frustrating dreams about SWTOR? My pet peeve, premades vs pugs, has been a pet peeve in many games for many years now, by the way, and it won't change until premade vs pug is no longer an issue in MMOs. I paid my $15, I can come to the forum and gripe about that if I want to. Thanks very much!
  20. There is no class I can't beat sometimes, but personal experience tells me there are classes that are tougher to pin down and finish off. Sorc can escape and survive a situation a whole lot easier than a sniper, for example. All ranged have a little more breathing room than all melee as long as the ranged aren't tunnel visioned. Yeah, some classes have gap closers, but as a general rule, this is simply true. I'm not saying nerf anything, by the way, the only change I'd make is maybe give MM snipers a little love, and I'm iffy even about that because they do throw down a hurtin in the right situation.
  21. The first time one of your internet 'friends' casually lets slip that he spent his twenties in prison for murder, you might rethink that whole making friends online is good thing. I guess it would be a waste of my time to hope that happens for you soon. This game is rated teen, may I remind you, don't go around telling kids to make friends online, fools!
  22. Unfortunately, logic requires me to agree with this guy. The queue times would be atrocious if premades and pugs were separated now (plus it would be way too easy for premades to sync queue, since there isn't a big enough pool of players, so it wouldn't even help). Meanwhile, I'm on my last 30 days, perhaps I'll come back when cross server is implemented to see how the pvp has improved. I can't stand being angry and frustrated while playing a game, and whenever I play Republic, and even some days playing Imp, it's how I feel.
  23. Probably it's one of the ways they stop sync queuing.
  24. It's a lost cause. Of course premades and pugs don't belong together, but that's what we've got, and it won't change. Moving on.
