  1. SURE! so i do have both scoun/operative. melee spec tactics gear 45% crit 1274 alac using the BLUE augments all +95 crit. I cant for the life of me do the damage other ops are doing, and I cant survive like they do. My flash grenade always only hits 1 person, but when i fighter others, theirs is AOE ***? I have been using the the tact that unleashes its damage when using volitile/veiled. i usually open with stim shot backstab volitile sub veild strike lacerate reset all abilites repeat then backstab lacerate etcc... i rarely break 2million My backstabs are hitting for 22k to 28k mos tog the time Ive seen one 38k Aside form that im always running for my life as im losig health like a madman as well. I keep 2 stacks of kolto (+6% dr) put up my reflect/evasion and shields and yet im not tonaky like theses other guys HELP
  2. Im on Satele Shan Ive never, ever had this type of poor performance in this game. Its almsot unplayable. Any answers?

  4. as the title says. if so how? ive made a new tab and unchcked everything except combat text..... and the onyl thing that appears int he chat is the last damage that killed me, nothing esle.
  5. too bad. Dont come here and cry about that OP ability. this class is easily the most tanky bursty untouchable best self healing class in pvp in the whole game. in fact you heal better than a full fledged healer. if anything should be given to this class is the power of the nerf.
  6. its my understanding that the current set bonus will now be passively baked into your skill tree. So the set 'nerf' is actualyl a buff, as you can wear whatever you want and be over powered.
  7. easier said than done. Especially in theses 8 v 8 engagements, where you dont even know who and how many people are targetting you. The fact that diminishing returns are not so diminishing is the problem. The fact that players can keep other players stun locked, snared locked, root locked, etc is bad play. CC immunity should be every 15 to 30 sec, and not at whim.
  8. sign i personally dont want to have to watch youtube for this type of information. Id preferr to see people put the effort to write it out IE open with A, then B, then C etc....
  9. the 3 story hutball is horrific; but ill take that over the 4 v 4 death match pops that either you get lumped vs a premade, or you get the short end of the rng where the other team has tank and heals and you are all dps/tanks with no heals. However, if the made a 16 v 16 death match id be down for that. Most of the objective based matches here you see people there for self glory, dps races, and kill races, all the while either ignoring the defending and capture aspects of the objectives, and fighting enemies far off the points/objectives.

  11. so I have yet to see a 70k maul that I have done. My biggest crit so far is 46k- that using an un augmentnted DK set and elemental blade tact, and I m too poor tto afford the augments atm. That being said, I reguarly see other classes like dps tank juggernauts hit me for 38k all the time with 2 of their attacks. Our biggest attack is postional while other classes have hard hitting, non postional abilities
  12. hmm from my experience with snipers in pvp they seem hardly take damage at the onset. takes a good 30 sec or more to tough their health. all the while they are repositioning and kiting you keeping you perma rooted/snared then winning. cant use gap closes on them as they are invulnable to those.

  14. ive tried sentinal in bgs and im not sure how people do it. I take so much damage so fast im usually dead before I can do anything. That one defensive ability is trash - the 25% DR that refreshes when you take direct damage.
  15. the vital shot advice-- is that a utility for the class? or is that a passive that is as stated without having to spec into it? Ill disagree with some statements 1) reading enemies actions in BGS: 9 times out of 10 your never 1v1. There are multiple enemies targeting you from lord knows where so actively using defensive abilities is a dice roll. 2) gearing: all I can say is this. If hit hit someone for 10k on average IE and Im getting hit for 15k IE there is definitely a disparity somewhere. Ultimately if you cant do the same amount if damage back to someone, it then becomes a measure of attrition. tacticals: whats the go to? i have them all and use the one that makes blood boil explode immediately.

    im game -- elaborate on how a sor/sage can do this? list the exact ulitiies taken, gear, tactical you are using to achieve this. what power you are activating etc.... becasue i have a sage-- an im am CC to death and cant do a thing when i get the ball,

  18. curious whats the whirlwind equivalent for a sage? force lift? also that god bubble ive tried to use it on a sage i recently made-- and it disappears after a few hits (~2sec) and then im tunnled to death. Ive fought lots of socrs that are semmingly god level tanks while doing insane daamage IE some prc thing hits me thru walls for like 20k a pop where lighning fall vertically on me 5 times. I think thats the tactical that procs with turbulence? ( dunno the sorc name) Obviously im doing something wrong. any tips? thanks
  19. i do use bludgeon, i think i renamed it into one of those other abilities i listed. I think a large problem, perhaps not with the this class, but in general, is that this game seems to be driven by gear. Gear plays an overwhelmingly large aspect into how you will perform. That being said-- I dont have any set gear, but I do have many tactical ive picked up thru boxes. I think that once I get my hands on the set gear (Tactician?) Ill be ok. right now it's a spam fest of buttons because i do not hit as hard as many geared people I play against and trying to keep up with their damage leads to energy mismanagement.
  20. so I play mostly melee characters, and by far the most difficult class to kill is the sorc ( as they seem to be played more than sages- more on that) I have found that in pvp sorcs IMO seems to be 1) super tanky 2) somehow heal to full all the time when i do manage to almsot kill them so-- yesterday I made a sage-- boosted it to 70 and got him to 75. Now Im not set geared, amplified specced, nor do i have any tacticals yet, but I definately didnt feel like the sorcs I regulary fight against. I do like many of the insta cast procs, but im trying to figure out how these guys are using their abiilites to be unkillable. ive use the 3 min cd ablative that get destoyed in a few secs, the blind on shield dissipate utility, cc break sprint, etc.... but he feels super squishy like a sentinal.

Im tryingg to wrap my head and fingers around trying to play this class. 1) I always seem to have a lack of Upper hand resourse 2) energy is lost very quickly Ive gotten him to 75 so far, but no set bonus gear. typically this is wht ive been doing stealth back blast skank shot blood boil upper cut sucker punch then I have downtime as I have no Upper hand to use so I typically do lacerating blast thermal grenade. some mobs/players I cant reposition to get back blast off so Im out of upper hand. Im pvp I see operatives and other scappers making unending sounds upper cuts and whatever is the operative equivalent. People seem to have a limitless supply of that resource. Any help is much appreciated. Also-- tactical? what the best all around tactical? thanks
  23. thank you btw what does defensives doe the sent class have that the guardian doesnt that makes it more survivable?
