I was also wondering this because I chose to do the dark side path with my sith inq... I would gladly accept some spoilers from someone else who decided to just go dark side from chapter 1 and how that effects everything else.

When the 5.0 patch initially happened I had zero issues. I didn't realize they did another mini patch (work sometimes prevents me from seeing those). I wonder if that is what did it.

Same here. My screen goes black, I can't get to task manager, I usually have to force shut off my computer. its kind of a pain and I've never had this issue with any of the other expansions or anything.
