How about 4 deception sins - 4 discharges could probably global anyone

I use one of the cybernetic CM legs on him and pretend that i cut his legs.

Moving buffs is probably the only role stealthers have in this WZ. We can't guard in stealth, we can't cap in stealth so the only role we're left is to run the buffs. How about when sorc gets it to not be able to use bubble or jugg//marauder can't use saber ward or merc/pt can't use energy shield? Stealth is the ultimate DCD of sins and ops so I consider your comment pure trolling. About sins being part of the problem of class balance - 0/10.

Scrapper Scoundrel vs Infiltration Shadow for PVP?
Tsetso replied to Volxen's topic in Shadow / Assassin
I know it's possible but still operative gives them ~0.5s to interrupt the cap since exfiltrate is just 12m so it's 2 gcd to close the distance and start capping. -
Scrapper Scoundrel vs Infiltration Shadow for PVP?
Tsetso replied to Volxen's topic in Shadow / Assassin
Assasins/shadows have 1 advantage over operatives/scoundrels in that case. They can sometimes sap cap a node that's guarded by a player outside the 30m range using phase walk. -
Dead my ***. Last night on TRE i've had more open world pvp than for weeks previously on ToFN. Both in rakghoul tunnels and on Yavin 4. Naturally there were more people on PVE instances( about 2:1 ) but overall it was pretty nice.

Why are the PVP Servers always lighter in pop than the PVE Servers?
Tsetso replied to Blakinik's topic in General Discussion
Yes, it's supposed to happen. That's why you have guilds, friends, factions. It's not supposed to be solo friendly. We've had giant battles by effectively closing the alderaan spaceport for instance where people being ganked get on their max level toons, calling for support on fleet or in guilds. It's meaningless in this game but it's entirely by the rules. So please stop with the epithets - if you ever made the effort of reading the warning when you created a toon a pvp server you would know perfectly well what to expect. About the "sprewage of insults, often of a racial, sexual" things - no that's against the rules - report that player and he'll be banned. -

This thread has derailed from the OP question. I have to say a couple of things and i'm out. 1. If you don't intend to do world pvp you have no reason to be on a pvp server 2. Bioware made a terrible mistake( or scam, i don't really know) of even making PVP servers, perfectly knowing that the game is not centered on open world pvp. Maybe they thought they could add some content later but after Ilum fiasco it was clear that world pvp was just an afterthought in this game. As far as I'm concerned this is the last theme park MMO where i play PVP. Let's hope Camelot Unchained does it properly since it's a sandbox. 3. Please stop calling people that play the game as intended on a server with PVP ruleset "jerks", "morons", "toxic minority" etc. -

One can argue that world pvp is the purest form of RP in a SW game -
Why are the PVP Servers always lighter in pop than the PVE Servers?
Tsetso replied to Blakinik's topic in General Discussion
This is pure speculation on my part but I'd guess there were never that many players on a PVP server that didn't want owpvp so their leaving would have only marginal effect on the server population. And no, griefers and gankers were not small minority on pvp servers (at least at launch) - they were almost the whole population of the servers. We all knew that "red is dead" and liked it that way - that's why we made the choice to play on a pvp server. -

Faction doesn't mean a thing in the pvp zone - it's ffa unless you're in a group(that's on pvp server, not sure how it's on a pve server). Back on topic, open world pvp is practically nonexistant because BW made everything they could think of, to kill it. Gree/Rakghoul events and first couple of days of new chapters on Zakuul are the only places where it's happening. Since most people played on PVP servers mostly because of OWPVP, killing it actually killed those servers. About ganking and griefing - most players knew perfectly well what means to play on a pvp server and chose to play there so i don't think there is any merit to the speculation that people left pvp server because of it. On the contrary - most probably they left because there was lack of owpvp since that's the only difference between pve and pvp servers. -
