  1. No it is not. That maybe the point of the gear to you, but not everyone.
  2. Oh, great! That "Combat Acumen" fix totally works! Thank you so much. I would have never in a million years thought to try that to fix it. The portrait moving isn't a big deal. Easy to move back. I'm just so glad to be able to turn off the knock back now. Thank you so much!
  3. Hello, I love using Akaavi but have a couple problems with her that I don't have on my other characters or other companions. 1) My first and biggest problem is that I can't seem to be able to save the settings I put into her Companion Bar. Like I really hate her knock back. Sometimes it is good, but others it is very deadly. - sadly deadly to me - When I turn off her abilities I need to keep turning it off after every time I dismount or call her. Basically every time she goes away and comes back her bar is reset. On my other characters and other companions this is not a problem. Anyone have any advice or is this just something we need to accept? Or am I just doing it wrong? 2) This maybe tied to what is messed up with the above. When I group and she is dismissed, then when I return her health bar, picture thingy is always messed up. Like it is in the middle of my screen. I have found two things to fix it. One is to obviously just go to my interface editor and move it back where I like it. The other is to just log out and log back in. Anyone else have this issue? Any quick fixes to prevent it from moving after grouping? It isn't nearly as annoying to me as my problem #1 above, but would be nice to not have her thingy moving on me. Thank you.
  4. Snipers hurt me I am happy to engage fighting just about anyone more than a sniper because they really hurt me in my light armor. Obviously I don't include Ops in that group of "anyone" because I never have a choice to engage them or not. They just pop up behind me and next thing I know I am dead (unless I somehow manage to smash all the right buttons to get free for a second or two, then he is in trouble! lol)
  5. It is silly that people are still going on about this, but both games are huge, so I guess it is only natural. Today is today. TOR released last month, not 7 years ago. TOR has to compete with todays WOW, not 7 years ago WOW. Bioware and EA aren't idiots. They do a fine job making lots of money. They are very well aware of the fact that TOR is competing in todays market, not some silly time loop. Anyone who plays a game at release knows there will be bugs. And not just MMO's, but any game. There are always patches to iron out the games as they go live. Bioware knows this. Unless you live under a rock I would assume you know this. Nothing new. If you don't want to deal with bugs, why are you playing a game at release? Go find something better to do with your time while they iron things out? It is like those people companing about queue times on full servers, when the game has tons of non-full servers available. Really hard to feel bad for you. lol. And what are all of these people doing to find bugs? I am up to level 44 and have another at level 31 and have hardly seen any. I got stuck once, and another time couldn't seem to get LOS on the bad guys in a wide open field. Both were quite annoying, but not game breaking bugs. And only happened once. Being that, that is all I have experienced, that is a pretty smooth release from my chair. Edit: Oh, and BTW it has been 7 years and WOW STILL has tons of bugs. Every expansion they have had has been rougher on me that this games release has been. On top of that, I can give you two quest (one in Howling Fjord, and one in Dragonblight) that are still bugged today and you can't finish.
