  1. Did I accept that it's not their fault? YES. So everyone lay off. I posted for help, not for criticism. What I do feel IS their fault is the lack of support that their CS department can do in this case. There are rare cases, like this, where stuff like this happens not the fault really of anyone. I mean, I never even received an email stating that there was a problem with my payment or I would have just corrected it immediately. That's the problem I have, which I don't think is SO outrageous that it warrants everyone telling me to basically shut up, which I won't. Now, with that said, if anyone has comments that are HELPFUL in nature, I would welcome and appreciate those.
  2. It's not about wanting to play or not being tempted to play, I have just been extremely busy with family things (3 weddings this year), plus holidays, vacations, and work schedules.
  3. I know that most likely I won't get them, and to one of the other posters on here I know it's not their fault that it happened, however it's such a simple mistake and should be easily fixed. I get that some people would abuse it but if you look at the overall account history, etc you can clearly see that this is not an attempt at trying to "beat the system" as someone else suggested. Again I get that I most likely won't get those rewards but I would appreciate helpful comments that can give me outside of the box ideas as to how to at least try.
  4. I have been a continual subscriber for years. I have payed months of service without even playing. Point is I have put in quite a bit of money into this from the beginning and I am not sure where to turn to next as I have exhausted all avenues with Customer Support on the phone. The problem is that in December for some reason my payment did not go through. I was never notified. Today I decided to play and saw that my account was in Preferred status, much to my surprise. I immediately went in and pushed the payment through, this time it was successful. I'm still not sure why that other payment didn't go through. Then I noticed all the changes to the game and started reading through the KotFE updates and realized that my account would have normally been active for the Jan 11 cut off date, but because my payment didn't go through on Dec 31st, I missed that cut off. It was not intentional, obviously, as you can see my past payment history. I also never received a notification in my email stating that my account had lapsed, or I would have immediately fixed it. I called customer service and was told that there was nothing that they could do and that only the developers could make the change to my account that would be needed. After discussing all other possible avenues it was clear that this man nor his supervisors could help. Now I don't know what to do. I'm extremely frustrated given that this was not intentional and I'd be willing to back pay that time that was missed, but there doesn't seem to be a way to do that. Does any one have any suggestions for me? I cannot believe that NO ONE has the power to do anything except the developers.
  5. I just moved today and I'm kinda ticked. My wife and I both lost two characters from the transfer, plus I lost my legacy name. I'm quite ticked because I have been with SWTOR since the closed beta and have had these names FOREVER and just because my server was part of the transfers, I get the shaft? Doesn't seem fair to me. The in-game items are weak at best, and then the fact that those on the destination servers are going to get them anyway?! Why are they rewarded especially since 4 people have names that my wife and I use? The fact that this thread is as long as it is definately speaks volumes to how frustrating this whole process is. I will give credit where credit is due: the transfer was quick, and it's nice to be on a server that has people on it again, HOWEVER...losing those names kills me.
