Assasination means killing an important person with a unexpected hit.We are called assasin so we should be able to stealth and one hit rest of the classes but we cant.Therefore we are underpowered.

Force cloak is supposed to make you leave combat. You can res players at out of combat. You can combine 2 skills to perform better. Its like low stash , moving backward and maul.

Economy.Contrary to other mmos , swtor economy is less capitalist.Most of the things from crew skills are only for crafter , you cant do massive production and earn loads of credits.You can still make low level goods to sell but they'r not on high demand.You earn credits from warzones. Kiosk is controlled for black marketers who buys loads of things cheap and sells expensive.

I saw that tool tip again. It says " shielded attacks deal lower damage ". Are you sure there is no damage penalty to who equipts shields ?

Im planning to use dark ward in my spec.I probably need a shield to benefit it.I inspected shield and force generator stats. Shields have same amount of endurance and wilpower compared to generators but they have 100-200 less power and they give you some shield chance. I read that " A shield generator makes you able to absorb damage but you deal less damage with it " on a loading screen tool tip. Does it refer shield generators have less power stat or is there a damage penalty who equips a shield generator ?

I have 45 assasin , I rerolled to an operative.Sorcerer is far better then assasin.

I tried darkness / madness hybrid spec today. 20 second cooldown force speed which removes snares , 5 second lasting force shroud , force pull , out of stealth spike felt like a proper class in hottball and 1v1.It felt like how I should be.However I lost huge damage burst. max damage i can deal is 1k. As deception I can do 2.5k with discharge and shock. You need to stack procs with saber strike and volcanic stash and burst 2.5k with shock and discharge.The problem of deception is not damage.Its how to deliver it and survive. As a operative or sniper you can do both. You can cc and snare and deliver damage. As jugger or maruader you can absorb enough to survive , snare and deliver damage.As a sorcerer you can survive with your bubble cc , snare and deliver damage but as assasin you have to make a choice. As deception I can top damage done and killing blow list but there are lots of low level players. If I were in my level bracket I dont beleive I can do anything.

Im reading guides , using keybinds and Im using 5 button gaming mouse.Im trying to improve but Im confused a lot. Doesnt tanking tree have low damage? Even with some madness skills ?

edit I inspected skill trees again and I found a hybrid tree that solves %90 of my problems.I dont anymore think assasin is frustration , it was my ignorance and impatience.There are still some minor issues but I think pvp mechanics will shape better in future. After reaching lvl 45 and training %99 of my abilities , I decided that Assasin isnt viable for pvp. You realize this fact when you faced high level players. 1-) Assasin wears light armor , weakest armor against melee. 2-) Assasin has to be in melee range , you can kite other melee classes with force slow ( generaly you wont have enough force to cast it when you need or they will be at your melee range when you have enough force to cast it ) but you cant deal high damage with shocks if you dont have procs.Additionaly even most melee oriented classes have enough ranged spells to hurt you. 3-) As a light armor wearer melee class Assasin needs properly working cc spells but their mechanics are far from saving you. Spike has 30 seconds cooldown , only usable in stealth. Any damage breaks low stash , its useless in battlegrounds. Overload is useless for a melee class except you want to have fun of dropping ppl from high . Only beneficial cc is electrocute and it has 1 minute cooldown. 4-) GCD and focus kills assasin. When you immediately need to cast overload or electrocute your character could be performing saber strike hits or you could be out of focus. 5-) Assasin has worst survival mechanics too. 2 seconds force speed , 3 seconds force shroud is useless. Only benefit of deflection is to let you survive a few seconds and only benefit of cloak is making you percieve pvp with an assasin is frustration and feeling lucky that you can still live.

1-) I used deception. If you want to tank at low lvl flashpoints you should stick to darkness but deception has useful utility for leveling wise. 2-) there are no mods , I hope they will never exist in this game. 3-)I suggest you to keep all orange gear you have got. At future you may want to use them because of their looks. You can always use mods to upgrade their stats to your current level.

I dont think assasin sux. I got lvl 40 sin and i find him usefull both in pve and pvp. If we speak only for pvp its really useful and powerful class in voidstar or huttball , even in 1v1 pvp .However assasin could be improved to give more fluid pvp experience. Here are my suggestions: 1-) Global cooldown kills assasin. They should separate GCD of melee and ranged abilities. Also they should do same for cc spells 2-) Force requirement of volcanic slash should be removed.

Yesterday I hit lvl 40. I got volcanic slash now.I thought its a replacement of saber strike but i realized it requires 25 force. I put it to quick slot 1 and using as basic melee ability but I go out of focus easly.I know It's not designed to spam but i think it would fix many issues if it was a free of force ability.Dont you think same ?

I have a problem with my companion.Its 2V-R8. Its a healer companion. During combat he spams "Excellent ! I was just wondering what I could do to please you" in every 2 seconds. He says that after casting any healing spell. Its annoying and unplayable. What can I do to fix it ? Is there an option to turn its sound off ?
