This is what illum world pvp should be like. Not bridge-farming for kills, not node capping, but seige based world pvp. There's so many good games out there, either released or being released, that have a perfectly good world pvp formula. There is no reason for Illum to be so much fail, in this day and age. The game video i used as an example is ArchAge, currently being developed in korea. They are also getting more than 3 frames per sec, kinda makes me jealous when im bridge farming in illum for my dailies

Do assault talents, like burnout affect cybertech grenades? specifically firestorm. I suppose stats in general affect grenade damage, right? like tech bonus, crit, and surge.

i found that unbinding autorun seemed to fix the problem, if that helps at all.

from what i understand, assault is completely viable as pve dps. the only issue is that gunnery scales much better with gear endgame.

seems superior to gunnery for aoe damage tho. throw down a plasma nade, then unload with hail and plastique into a group... you will see lots of numbers on the screen but i have to agree, the burst dps is a little lacking coming from a gunnery respec.

just stay in AP cell, only going through super heated to get high friction bolt (extra 30% AP). skills just synergize for HIB, mostly... at least thats the intent.

this is outdated. kolto bomb no longer has a lasting effect as a result of the green residue left on the ground. Talented, kolto bomb gives an incoming heal buff, and supercharged gives a 10% dmg shield to 3 ppl nearest to where it lands... regardless of whether or not they stay in the green goo. also preventative medicine (http://www.torhead.com/ability/4xeQh5E) adds a HoT to your advanced med probe.

I don't know what you guys are talking about. Obviously, get his gear up. Stack endurance and aim, get defense rating high. Hotkey his flameguard ability, use it everytime it is off CD, hotkey his flare ability, use it as an aoe taunt. Heal him, and he is unstoppable. If he is folding for you guys, then you are using him wrong.
