What class do you play that you feel so useless in Huttball?

2000 was based on the NT platform, ME was based on the 9x platform.

I have yet to do any Hard Modes, so I will shortly be the NOOB that you will get through group finder. Is it acceptable to queue wearing PVP gear?

The one downside to the larger server population is less Huttball. On my old dead server it was the dominating Warzone due to always playing the same faction.

Which is exactly why they need the stuns. 1 vs. 1 Ops are annoying and can be deadly with someone competent at the controls. Get two teaming up and you're screwed.

Everyone get's it. As soon as you're 50, visit the PVP daily quest terminal and it's yours.

Against. Roots respecting full resolve would make ranged classes melee fodder.

The Shadowlands here and yes, absolutely horrible lag since 1.3. I think it has gotten worse since the unplanned downtime we all had the other day. Warzones were almost unplayable on my Gunslinger yesterday. up to 3-5 second delay just trying to crouch.

I liked this trick too and was disappointed when they changed it. On top of the wall was a nice sniping spot also.

I had never seen anything that I thought was guaranteed cheating until yesterday. We were playing a Voidstar match and the opposing team was able to plant the bomb on the second set of doors before either of the bridges had dropped.

I quit my very first WZ yesterday when 6 of my teammates decided to defend a single node. I can't stand just giving up.

I played FFXI for six years (started on PS2 and eventually moved to PC). Yes, TOR is much easier than XI was. Once they increased the level cap from 75 and introduced Abyssea, FFXI became easy button too. Also their expansions became lack luster and just rehashed preexisting maps. I quit playing XI when TOR came out, which was just before they increased the level cap from 90 to 99. I was already stomping the crap out of stuff on my 90 Beastmaster. I don't miss the extreme grind of FFXI, but I do wish TOR was a bit more difficult. Hate is pretty much a non issue in this game. As said previously, mobs fight pretty much the same. This is really why for the first time I'm really into PVP. PVP is really the only thing that offers a real challenge. I do like that I don't have to play for three hours to get something accomplished. I like the crafting system in this game because I can do other stuff while I craft.

Huttball is a wonderful game of skill and strategy. It can also be one of the most frustrating when you don't play as a team. I love Huttball on every job I play. Yes, my Tanksin is a blast as the ball carrier. You sometimes feel you're in the spot light. Crossing that goal line does feel good. It also feels good to have a great pass and assist when someone else on your team crosses that line. My Op healer is also a blast to play, and not a bad ball carrier in its own right. Save your CC breaker for crossing fires. Use your HOTS. If you're waiting on an obstacle, heal yourself. Use your shield. Spamable cure on the move when under %30! Hmmm...thinking about it now....yup, my Gunslinger is also a blast to play in Huttball. Kill those %^@*! from 30m. Legshot when they're crossing obstacles. Keep control of mid. I have actually found that people pass to me more than I would probably like on this job because I'm positioned well. You know what I do? I keep moving the ball and watch for a better ball carrier to pass. Control mid. Don't be afraid of the ball. Pass. Destroy. I want more Huttball.

Stop asking for the game to be dumbed down. It's easy enough as it is.

This is not the healer you are looking for...

Practice, practice, practice and playing with others that want to communicate. I was in a similar spot to you and didn't do any PVP until my first toon was almost 50. It was very disheartening getting stomped silly all the time. I stuck with it and also started doing PVP with my alts right off the bat. I also have a few buddies that will team up from time to time. The wins come much easier now.

It's selfish and bad etiquette to need for npc gear when rl players need it. End of Story. Get used to your NPC's company if that's how you plan to play the game.
