  1. 1: No. 2: They're boring. I can't see anyone REALLY getting exciting for them. There are so many other races people want a LOT more than cat-people. 3: I personally really want Togruta. They already have the models. They already work with a bunch of different armor. They look better. They're more interesting. 4: I could see how people would say that. I personally don't know much about Cathar because I think they're thoroughly lame, but from what little I do know, I would agree that they're considering more "light". 5: I never thought about it, but yes. They are a bit too close to human. 6: **** Cathar. Yay Togruta! I think the most upsetting thing is that they've pretty much already decided that this is what they're going to do, regardless of what the community wants. They've proven multiple times that they will do what THEY think is best. But then, maybe after losing a million subs to their stupidity, they'll do some listening. But who knows? Maybe the community really does want this joke of a race, I haven't read any responses in the thread yet, so I haven't gotten a real feel for how people are reacting.
  2. I don't think anyone below level 50 should be able to get them. Or if they can, then the black core+color outline ones shouldn't. There needs to be SOMETHING for people to want to get when they hit 50. It's already pretty lacking as is.
  3. This is the biggest thing for me. As Inquis, Ashara is my choice, but I will NOT reroll if they try to pull some **** like that. They should just do the reset of companion quests with the new options, and let us start over. Also; I'd MUCH prefer just adding the SS option to companions that are already implemented. Firstly, it'd just be easier altogether. But mainly because I just want Ashara. I don't want to have to HOPE that they implement another companion that I end up liking.
  4. Why does everyone insist OP just wants to power level for Legacy rewards? I completely understand that OP is simply trying to play each story, to see the stories, but doesn't want to also have to do boring side quests that are the same for each character. Maybe I see it that way because I feel the same way, but jeez. I recently started new toons for the stories, myself, but I get burnt out after a level or two, because it's just boring to do quests I've already done. Especially when this game's whole selling point is storyline.
  5. Not really. WoW has a load screen for any different instance that you go to. You load the game, and as long as you're on the same continent, there won't be another load screen unless you either: Go to another continent, go in a BG, or in a dungeon. Any other load screen is less than 10 seconds long, and even then it's only for things like Hearthing etc. For SWTOR its: Everytime you get in another instance. Everytime you get out your ship. Everytime you go in it. Everytime you use an elevator. etcetcetc. It's just a bit much. Not to mention the ridiculousness of all the hallways and elevators and passages that you have to go through just to get to things. There's been so many times where I've been going somewhere, and though: "Wow, this **** is only like this solely to make me waste time."
  6. Agree'd. Saying: "Hurr durr, Martha Stewart/Sims." is such an ignorant way of thinking. Player housing is a great idea. It gives players something to do. It's a great credit/time sink. I'm still not sold on the whole: New sandbox planets though. Maybe just because I've never seen a game with it. I would think instanced houses would be better, even if only people in your party could travel to it with you. It just seems like that would be the most successful way without causing a bunch of problems. Either way, I want to see this implemented. There's simply nothing to do in this game at max level. I spend most of my time completing old quests. And that's straight BORING. At the VERY least, we need to be able to either get new ships, or customize the one's we have now.
  7. You're right. Because skimping on multiple areas because it "isn't worth it" didn't get them in the predicament of having to soon go free-to-play or anything. I didn't say they needed special dialogue. Simply after you reach certain points, there needs to be a system in place that removes certain aspects of the conversation so that it coincides with the story more. So, in effect they wouldn't say **** that they obviously just wouldn't say. They could say something different, or remove that line completely if it's overall irrelevant. Example: Line 1. Line 2. Line 3. Line 4. After you would hit a certain point, Line 1 would just say something different, but the other lines would stay the same. They don't need to change everything, just slight key phrases in conversation.
  8. So, I hit 50. Get on the Dark Council, and considered one of the strongest Sith in a millennium. And I decide, cool, now I'll go back and do all the quests I didn't finish. And at times, conversations are just total BS. I would be murdering half of these people who talk to me like I'm still an apprentice. And yes, I KNOW that it's because the quests are programmed for when I AM just an apprentice, but it takes away from the illusion that this game had, until then, done such a great job of upholding. There really needs to be a second set of quest dialogue for after you hit 50. "My master would crush you with a flick of the wrist!" "The Dark Council will not be pleased." Uhm, no. I would destroy him. And nope, I'm on it, and I say it was a fantastic idea. Another is how this game engine works. I know it's a terrible engine, but when I go in a building, I shouldn't be lagging anymore. I actually shouldn't be lagging at all, but I've come to terms that this game is just horribly optimized. It's like it continues to render **** outside, so it takes up my GPU's memory and makes me continue to lag, even when there's just no reason for it. Another thing is view distance. For the love of all that is holy, *********** add a View Distance option. You see just as far on Minimum graphics, as you do with Max. And it's ********. I have the graphics on absolute minimum and I still lag all the time. And before someone says: "Hurr durr your computer sucks." i7. 6GBs RAM. GeForce 330m The 330M is obviously not a high end card. But considering I can play Dead Space 2 maxed, WoW maxed, and Tera at high, I'm thinking I should be able to play this game at absolute minimum. At any rate, I know the things wrong with this game are solely EA's fault for forcing Bioware to release an unfinished product, but you'd think things would be a TAD better. Also, this is not a "Quitting" post, or anything close to it. I enjoy the game. I think a lot of the options are cool, and the questlines are unmatched in entertainment value against any other MMO on the market. Just posting this to see if other people feel the same way, but mostly in hopes that someone(CS, a Dev, something) will see it and perhaps throw it in the: "We should probably do something about this"-bucket.
  9. I'm barely interested in leveling my main, considering I've had the game since launch and am only 34. rofl.
  10. This is why I came. I want to pay less, too. I'm not about to read 24 pages of idiocy.
  11. OP is the lulz. Oh yeah, we didn't let them know we didn't like the way they were going to "fix" cooldowns. Kind of like we didn't tell them about the 100s of other bugs that have been in since beta. We love being angry with a game we desperately want to like! Not a *********** thing.
  12. Was trying to tally up before I left for work. Got to page 23 and decided I don't feel like it anymore. Btw, tally was: Positive - 57 Negative - 114 At page 23. I left out ALL people who put more than one word(Because they're *********** idiots and can't follow simple instructions), and people who put neutral things like: "Potential." I added, however, every time someone said: "Hopeful." to positive, since, Potential is neutral but hopeful is more positive in my eyes.
