  1. It happens. I did Tatooine w/o a speeder and was level 20ish and still walking. Much better guides and info for Noob players out there now.
  2. With code changes especially one that appears simple as this one it almost never is that simple. Plus if you think this is bad try having to get programming changes implemented quickly while working in state government! Sheesh! #IJS
  3. To a certain degree I have to agree with the OP and the follow up posters. Space combat is both easy and hard until you follow the appropriate strategies, purchase the appropriate upgrades, etc. The OP was making a point to say that the escort missions in particular were difficult, but because they did not specify which one everything else is just speculation. Myself being a veteran video games player and a former player of the original x-wing series found portions of the missions way too easy, then found others way too difficult. That is until you figure out what to do, then you can do the exact same thing every time and it will work since the missions are on rails.
  4. I am level 35 and I just got my legacy. I don't know if I finished chapter I or not yet. If I did I must have missed the announcement . Somebody had already taken the surname I was going to use too:mad: but it's all good.
  5. No one can really answer this one for you. It appears you have already kind of answered your own question when you say you don't want to do the same quests again. It sounds like you will space barring through your missions. One other suggestion. Do your space dailies. That can get you lots of credits and halfway through a level.
  6. Yes, your stats increase automatically. You have no control over how they increase with the exception of your choice of stat boosting gear. You can look at the codex entry for your class to find out what the primary and secondary stats are for your class. When gearing up try to focus on gear that boosts your primary stat. I am assuming you are playing a Jedi, so depending on which class you picked, your primary would either be strength or willpower. If you toon is a Jedi you will get your first light-saber at the end of your stater quests. Your level at the time may vary but you should be around level 10. You will also get to pick your advanced class at this time. This check your class codex entry for more information.
  7. Well you can start by doing your daily space missions. Easy credits and xp there.
  8. I pretty much just do them all. As long as the mission title is not greyed out you get get some easy xp and credits. Do them every day and you will not have much trouble leveling.
  9. That feature hasn't been added yet. Maybe it will be added in a future patch.
  10. I must be having some issues with my weapons and armor packages. I have been trying to keep my avatar equipped with what I thought was the best gear available but after looking again I still seem to be taking a lot of damage in combat. I am still a bit confused about how this whole armor/mod system works. I think I am still misunderstanding the meaning of the armor rating. I always try to wear items with the highest armor rating, but not quite sure how the colors play into this. Is a blue item with an AR of 200 better than a green item with an AR of 200? I have also acquired a few orange items and payed around with placing a few armoring mods in them but still not sure how that works. Does the AR of the mod supersede the base AR of the item. If there are any really good guides out there that can explain this in laymans terms please point me to them.
  11. I have heard many veteran players refer to dailies or daily missions. Exactly where do I go to find my daily missions? Are these group missions? Other than the daily space missions what other dailies are there?
  12. Well that's not entirely correct. You will also get gifts as loot sometimes too, so you won't always have to buy them. Also different companions like different types of things so you have to learn via trial and error or search for a gift giving guide online.
  13. Just right click on the item in question.
