  1. Actually that's not true. Remember Colonel Tobin, for one.
  2. This. Also if it wasn't clear enough in the movie, the novel explains pretty well (and logically) that medical technology way out in Polis Massa was hardly comparable to what a pre-Imperial era Republic senator would have gotten on Coruscant.
  3. I can't really speak for anyone else, but my personal feeling is that I had really been hoping for a KOTOR 3 since 2004, and it felt like soloing as much of TOR as possible was the closest I'd ever get to that. There was also a sort of unique feel to KOTOR as a single-player game that for various reasons doesn't really seem present in an MMO where you're geared to interacting with other players. I don't know for sure, but maybe KOTOR appealed more to a largely single-player market base that wasn't as thrilled with the MMO idea. Some people might be accustomed to gaming and socializing being two separate things. So, players might be more interested in continuing their personal class quests than doing group quests that reset each day. Maybe server populations are a factor too? Night owls won't see as many other players on to play group quests. That or because at least in my experience it's a lot easier to get quick credits through PvP than to bother with doing every group quest .
  4. Let me get this straight. The patch is not out yet, the game is buggy, and customer service is bad, so you want them to...increase the monthly fee? ...What? No thanks!
  5. Yeah he'll follow...and attack me before I can do anything to him. No matter what I do I've had to knife him first to get rid of the "Cannot see target" stuff.
  6. How'd you manage that? I always lose too much health by the time I lure him away/get close enough to cut him, even if I send Kaliyo up first.
  7. This. Except I don't think she was that wrong to trust Revan given all that had happened to him. She wasn't the only one Revan abandoned who remained a loyal allly, after all. Aside from that, good to know I'm not the only one who's that ticked off about what they did to the Exile. Oh, and the whole thing with Nathema. She lived with the burden of Malachor V for years in Exile, deafened to the Force. Not to mention that she fought Darth Nihilus right before Malachor V was finally destroyed. What was supposed to be so different on Nathema that she barely escaped? Not that it wouldn't be tough, but she of all Jedi should have resisted that better.
  8. As an Imperial Agent, that kinda blows. Fatal Alliance was kinda misleading. What kind of elite intelligence agent can never infiltrate his enemy's capital?
  9. Well hey, you are an agent of the Empire. At some point if you're too nice to your enemies, your Sith superiors probably wouldn't take too kindly to that. I believe it's been said that "good guys" on the Empire side make the best of a bad situation. It's a matter of performing wanton slaughter for it's own sake, just because you can, as opposed to killing only when its necessary as part of your job.
  10. Quick question: For those who have managed this fight despite the bug, what rank was your shiv/debilitate/other close-range or interrupt abilities? Thanks. I may have a ton of credits to raise somehow...
  11. Dantooine is definitely at the top for me, pre-bombardment by Malak. So peaceful and isolated, long rolling grassy hills and rivers... Telos also comes to mind...I don't know why I go for all these planets that get devastated by Malak . I'm gonna make an unusual choice---Hoth. Endless snowdrifts and isolation .
  12. I agree...I have yet to read "Deceived", but I read FA some time ago and it was good. Not great, but good. It helped me to decide to be an Imperial Agent, actually. Just finished Revan and...damn. As great as it was it just felt...wrong. I guess the Stormtrooper effect doesn't apply in the Expanded Universe. SPOILER: And really...the Exile, who almost single-handedly ended the Mandalorian Wars, re-established her connection to the Force, rebuilt the Jedi Order, and defeated the Sith Triumvurate...dies getting stabbed in the back by some upstart Sith who couldn't handle a few droids? Plus, *** happened to Jolee & Juhani---and Bao-Dur, whose fate even Kreia didn't know? Seems like they could've been a little more helpful...
  13. Loved it/still have it. I almost want to play it again now, but I've always been awful at racing games.
