  1. While yes our choices do matter in that conversations are different and some characters are dead. In the bigger picture they don't, we can't kill off any character only certain ones and regardless of how you handle Koth earlier, he still comes back to save they day. This is just starting to feel like mass effect 3 where we get the same ending no matter what choices we make. So from that point of view choices don't really matter story wise I did enjoy the story but i do miss the old republic vs empire
  2. I was greatly concerned by the numbers being thrown around, like 50%- 75% nerf. I thought all was lost, for I'm not an expert player. These 4.0 strength companions were a blessing for me. I could do flashpoints and heroics easily now. (i could do most heroics before just required me to concentrate. Back when I did some grouping for flashpoints I was the guy you yelled at "learn your class fool" " your a tank why you standing over there fool" " you need to taunt them fool" I hate to ruin others experience so I don't do group stuff any more obviously. I have no interest in studying guides on my class, I use the skills I want in the way I want and play how I want but for some reason that idea offends people meh. Either way I don't do group stuff so I don't ruin their game play. so everyone is happy My Juggernaut has 208 gear, a 216 offhand shield and 220 main. I am level 50 legacy, have all the datacrons and completed all class stories and companion conversations bar trooper (I'm working on him) I think that covers all the buffs/stats I get) I use Lana right now she is level 42 influence When 4.0 hit I started doing the star fortress stuff I was geared in 186(i think) obviously could do the solo versions and I had enough crystals after that to buy my 208 gear. First run through hardmode I did the no buff achievement. Died so many times kinda over estimated how hard it would be. Well just the Praetorian everything else was easy. Then dove into the heroics I smashed them easily without having to watch Lana (who was in damage for all planets under level 40-level sync and Healer for the rest) I found out once you play it with the buff just how easy it was, coupled with the buffs you find once your contacts are above level 10 influence. I was surfing the web on my desktop while on my laptop just hitting the basic attack and Lana did all the work. I look over at my laptop see Lana had killed everything move my toon forwards and repeat. Only time I had to pay attention was the Praetorian and of course the final hit the 3 control panel section Patch hits and I'm a bit worried based on everything that i've heard, so I start with some heroics. No issues there can do almost all. Cant do the Makeb False history, The macrobinoculars final heroic, The shoud's last stand or the seeker droid final Heroic Alchemy of evil. Granted couldn't do those 3 before the patch either (probably a reflection of my skills not the game) Now onto Star fortress hardmode, Same gear stats as above lvl 42 Lana starts in damage mode, changed her to have a magenta crystal in her saber since it looks pink it reflects her watered down skills.(Plus im sick of seeing 100 of the same Lanas around cant believe we cant change her gear or even throw on a dye #rantover) Still used the buffs and the 4 caches. It takes us a bit longer to kill things. I have to pay attention taking down Paladins, I don't know if its her new crystal colour has gone to her head or the stat changes but I have to keep my eye on her she seems to bite off more than she can chew sometimes and tries to take on too many enemies, some taunts later its all good. No change for the Praetorian, felt it was the same difficulty. The 3 control panel part I had to watch where I was standing. The Exarch required some attention, had to keep an eye on Lana many times she almost died, so did i for that matter. With some kiteing she held up. I don't think the fight is any harder I just have to pay attention, stand in the right spot and use interruptions. Which sounds alot like me having to learn to play my class TL; DR Juggernaut geared 208, with lvl 42 influence Lana healing, can do almost all Heroics and hardmode Star fortress(with buffs). She doesn't heal or deal as much damage(duh) so you now actually have to watch what your companion is doing. Unbuffed and undergeared it might be hard to crack that hardmode but isn't that how endgame should be. I do miss overpowered autopilot days, but it isn't as bad as thought. Granted it might be alot different with a low level influence companion
  3. So a Lvl 50 influence Lana on healing post patch, what will she be equivalent to Prior to patch lvl 20 influence? 10? does the same go for damage?

What i don't understand is, as bioware once said someone caught buying from a goldseller gets a ban depending on how often they have done it etc. they also get the credits and items purchased with said credits taken off them. So since the OP reported those gold sellers. Wouldn't bioware look into their account and see oh a gazillion emails of credits to some other toon or a large variety of cheap items bought off the GTN (what ever method they use to move the credits). And since they can track everything bioware can take them off credits off the gold sellers and track the money to the source. and there has to be a source with a big pile of credits otherwise how can someone buy credits off them?From that source then they just whip out the ban stick and ban everyone who sends emails or buys stuff off that character? TL; DR if bioware can track everything that moves in game, GTN, emails etc why do we still see gold sellers? why cant bioware track and delete the source with all the credits

Around this time last year we received an infographic showing player stats like how many warriors vs Knights etc what are the odds of something similar like this again this year? and maybe include some KotFE? Stats on lightside/darkside options in the KotFE story how many people recruited a certain character or refused/left the mission open how many legendary status players how many legacy lvl 50 Romance stats truth be told i hold out for the day where we can kill off companions imagine the stats 99% of warriors killed quinn (there is always on carebear who thinks he should live) 99% of inquisitors killed Khem I wonder how many warriors still have Vette shock-collared?
  7. I was a little disappointed after playing through both a Sith and Jedi that you cant really kill off any Companions. I thought it said in Kotfe that companions might die i got all excited thinking i might finally get revenge on Quinn something i think all Warriors demand( or maybe just find that shock collar i took off Vette) i understand that there might be one or two companions that might be central to your storyline but serious we have recruited what like 20 or so new companions. What's the harm is us knocking off one or 2 or 10. In fact its no different from the people who refuse to do the Pierce/Mx questline cause its PVP. Are they not going to be short that follower but also all potential followers after that since they cant be recruited till pierce is. This need to kill companions or as you now call them followers was made more necessary by the stunt that our good Dr friend pulled. After what he does once we finally get out of the rakghoul tunnels i just wanted to grab him press my lightsabre to his heart and as i turn it on whisper in his ear "The Alliance sends its regards" Please Devs let us kill some of these companions

So if my main who is an artificer buys a 216 offhand pulls the hilt and he can RE it but does that not make the offhand bound? if i then pull the mod or enhancement can i send it to an alt to RE? or is it bound? i read somewhere that when you pull an item from a weapon or armour it binds the ITEM to you not willing to test it dont have that many crystals

I get the feeling they intend to phase out jawa junk completely New packs don't have it. it has been mentioned that when old packs are removed from the market they may come back but in, but with the new setup (only 2 items in them) therefor removing a big influx of jawa junk and the recruitment mission for Lokin gives me the impression that they wanted us to turn in our jawa junk at the vendors to get the materials for the mission
  10. I have finished the Kotfe story (so far) and my load screen is still "interlude" and talks of revan and the missing emporer same thing it said before i started kotfe

  12. yeah its a bit rough, i don't do OPS as their is too much elitism, you have to have your toon set up a specific way for your role or you will just be hounded and booted. i haven't really looked into the planetary conquest goals but it does seem like it requires alot of time. Time i dont have and with no craft-able 208 it really feels like there is something missing that means unless i have a pile of money to by the mats i cant craft anything in the 200's they really need to add a 208 that's craft-able without any high end mats so there is a happy middle ground
  13. Just worked my way here on my second toon through the Chapters. This map is first visited in Chapter 7. I tried everything even selecting different conversation choices and still no luck with that damn corner of the map The Razor, is the bottom section of this map. so far nothing visits the top left hand corner has anyone uncovered the top LEFT corner of this map yet?
  14. Yeah i just noticed this the other day, was actually looking forward to a new load screen. bit bummed to find we are still stuck with the old one talking about Revan and the missing emperor. hopefully its a bug and not that they were too lazy or forgot to make a new one

The reduced content per pack really undermines the value of the pack. 2 items per pack just isn't enough:( The removal of the XP waste of space in my inventory boosts was amazing well done:D Whoa jawa scraps gone, why? these babies made a pack almost worth it when you got a bad roll i really miss the rep items and cartel certificates, granted it was annoying the rep was bound and couldn't be sold cause once i hit max rep i stopped buying the pack off the GTN even though i still wanted some pieces from it having 10 rep items i cant do anything with was a big turn off so i just had to wait till the individual items were available on GTN bring back rep but just not bound! i think the best improvement has already been mentioned Except i would change the 3rd option to be just Armour set or mount. Get rid of cosmetics stuff. i don't mind if the Armour is in upper, lower, supplemental just make sure all 3 parts have equal drop rates
  16. I gave up on using cartel coins for packs along time ago. There were better more certain of result things to waste them on. Like legacy unlocks of gear and weapons etc but seeing this thread i though perhaps there has been some improvements. not willing to spend real money on anything in the market i went to the GTN and bought some packs Now i know you probably put alot of work into this new market structure so i don't mean to sound overly critical i appreciate that someone want to change and reinvigorate the CC market Gold decorations pack. Not really the rarity i was hoping for. Considering the pack cost 800 CC i can buy 1000 CC for $10 and on the best plan, a subscription is $14 a month. So this one little deco was just over half a months subscription. that is just not right -the pack needs to list everything that's in it and its rarity, need to take the guess work out of it. -price is way too expensive for a simple decoration that isn't even that rare -considering a bronze deco pack can give me a temple chair (ornate) which you can pick up on GTN for 40k why do you even have the bronze or silver? and at 100 CC what a rip off (granted i have no idea how to compare in game currency value to real life $$ but i just felt that 100CC was just too much for such a small item) -did i mention too expensive? -all the prices need to have the a zero removed! -more than one item per pack is needed This just reinforces my decision not to spend real money on CC its just not worth it. For you to continue to charge the price you do for the packs the only solution would be to allow the buyer to pick the item. Such as i go and buy a gold pack (which lists in its description all the items i could find). when i open it i am asked which item i want and then i get that item! Gold Mount didn't even bother trying a mount pack because i knew id be stuck with another duplicate of one i already have. need to remove the lucky dip aspect of these packs. plus i'm not really a collector of either of these items -way too expensive Gold Armour was too expensive for my taste especially since you don't know what you will get. far to risky in my books and as such wouldn't even dream of touching the silver or bronze for fear of being stuck one of those ugly cybernetic ones -i cried when i saw the price Crystal pack not a fan, releasing crystals on the CC was a big screw you to artificers. especially since the +41 stats are equipable at lvl 10 to make me like these packs you would need to have it so the crystal was able to be RE'd by an artificer then i would be them by the Tonne Grand packs a much better price range (except crystal and dye) i saw these as more of a throw away thing, oh i got some CC left why not buy a few customization or weapons but considering the sheer range of dyes and weapons etc all of these should be just 50CC i still wouldn't sink a single cent of real money into the CC, there is just to much uncertainty in these packs. you are pretty much gambling each time you buy something and just like a casino the house always wins(meaning you never get from the pack the item you want) from that point of view should not the CC market have the same kind of warnings about odds and gambling like casinos do?

  19. True i am aware of this, there are some separate achievements for light side and dark side Jaesa. If an auto 60 warrior comes with a dark jaesa then it would be better for me to just reroll a new toon from scratch to get those achievements. I just wanted to see if there was any clarification or indication of how this will work before i decide to reroll a new toon
  20. As the title says. If i use my free start at 60 slot for a sith warrior. When roaming planets not doing FE storyline i have access to my usual class companions(from what ive read). So will Jaesa be light side or dark side, since that decision normally occurs in the warriors class story? has there been any indication on this issue?
  21. So I foolishly decided to give this another crack (3rd time) the patch notes said all was fixed. I thought I was off to a good start, the achievements for killing the 3 mobs were granted. Then came the pheromones...... buff was granted but not the title or the achievement. had a feeling something like this would happen so I actually wasted enough time to got two of each neural data things. bug report logged but doubt anything will happen (as evident by the comments in this thread so far) seriously when is this going to be fixed properly? also has anyone seen the blue beam to the datacron reset? almost every time I log in I drop by to see if it is still on for several instances and its always on. how long is the reset if any for it?
