  1. I understand that. But some of the issues are NOT UI based. Like lag in between skills, skills not firing on the correct target, and just general graphic bugs such as not being able to target peoples nameplates to heal them. The more WE talk about important issues the more likely they will get addressed. So I will continue "harping" for the betterment of this game. Until then our energy should be directed to things that are "easier to implement than others".
  2. Agreed Left click> thumb button> change target during cast> thumb button. But even if I key bound everything to the keyboard it would be that easy too just would have to use my left hand too.
  3. I have a razor naga it has 18 buttons just for my right hand. The left is free to really do whatever it wants pick my nose, stuff my face, won a math debate.... Possiblities r endless
  4. This is logical. And I agree if it makes the game easier it should be a option but getting mouseover should not overshadow the issues going on in game right now. This would be ideal later so I am not insisting that we never get it. P.s. Sorry for multiple texts typing on my phone =/
  5. Now I agree that the UI need improvement, just mouseover just not essential. There is alot of kinks and those do need to fixed
  6. with a focus target you can have a dps target and still heal your focus and self. Its not that hard people. Wow has made you lazy. Admit it.
  7. Honestly they need to fix how we heal in game currently before they can tackle mouseover healing. It is less important. The game is designed to be able to heal 3 targets without changing targets with self and focus modifiers. If you do that then it is mentally easier to heal on other targets. This specific challenge is one that is over come by knowledge. Knowing your class, knowing the encounter and expecting when/where others will take damage, and knowing mechanics of the fight itself. Not buy having a fancy UI/mouseover.
  8. Trust me I have done a lot of testing. Even if it only happens one out of 50 that 1 could cost you the whole encounter if someone dies from it. Plus I am not sure if you tested it in combat/grouped but it gets A LOT worse with the delays/lag in the queue. Yes, I still have my action queue option turned to 0 seconds.
  9. Mouseover macros and add-ons honestly make people lazy. I like the targeting method IF Bioware could fix how they actually want you to heal. Focus and self cast modifiers should be enough for any accomplished healer if they work properly. In wow I could heal defeat encounters with one hand. Seriously you know the expression "Could do it with a hand tied behind my back"? That was me in WoW. I don't really wanna go back to that.
  10. Yes it is not reliable. I just made a post about this. I have a razor naga mouse and my heals are bound to those buttons. When I hold down the modifier it only worked sometimes. It is very random. It will hit me or even my target sometimes instead of the focus. Its very confusing if this is the way Bioware intended us to heal. Atleast make the basic healing structure work. http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=249298
  11. I have played MANY games ALWAYS as the healer. I do not mind non-mouseover play. What I do mind is that it is currently unplayable. The way they have designed this game for healing is currently just not working. The focus target and Self target modifiers DO NOT WORK! They are originally bound to the Home and End buttons but of course I have changed them to fit my play style. Unfortunately you can not bind them to a shift, ctrl, or alt key. What is up with that? When I do hit my modifier to heal my focus target it is RANDOM. If I am luck the heal actually goes off on the focus. If I am unlucky it goes off on my target or myself. If I can not accurately calculate where my heal is going to land PEOPLE DIE=unplayable. So I thought this was something I was doing wrong so I checked all my setting. Brought down my action queue to zero seconds thinking that the delay on the action queue was queuing the wrong spell. But it still happens! Is this from in game delay or lag? So I put in a ticket and guess what I got? "thanks you, but unfortunately we can not discuss the outcome of this ticket. Have a great day(dieing)!" Does anyone else have any other better suggestions on how to heal with modifiers. I don't want to have to keep changing targets constantly.
