  1. At no point did I mention excrement in my OP. If you can't see the irony I'm not sure what to say.
  2. I found this kind of ironic... http://www.mmo-champion.com/content/ These aren’t the guards you’re looking for... Some sort of force awakens in both factions! We figured we'd pay homage to a galaxy far, far away that has long been near and dear to our geek hearts. Stop by Stormwind or Orgrimmar to pay respect to your guards and appreciate their exotic new weapons. They won't be able to maintain the unfamiliar technology for long! WoW acknowledging the new movie....here...nothing. GG Bioware!
  3. I predict some sort of in-game, or Cartel Market, tie-in to The Force Awakens. Maybe some film related armour sets..?
  4. Mahrdol and a couple of others have mentioned this, kiting, dotting, Rejuve and bubbling yourself can see you through that last 50% if your companion goes down.
  5. I've played tabletop RPG's for about 35 years, no one around any table I've played at has ever rolled for loot and taken gear over someone else who desires it.. Rolling for loot is purely a gaming mechanism introduced in multi-player video games.
  6. -A "Band Arrangement" would be awesome, attached a music-activation node to it and it would be freaking-awesome! -Some more pathing NPC's would be nice. -NPC's sitting on chairs would be good. - Duo's interacting (animated conversations, 2 dancers dancing in rhythm etc).
  7. This attitude is pretty much why people avoid grouping in this game. At least the ninja's cant use the "I need it for my companion" excuse anymore.
  8. I totally agree as mentioned earlier in the thread. I'm sure the whole point will be glossed-over tho', we've already had a "pointless thread is pointless" post. People seem to enjoy complaining and bickering with each other in rather juvenile ways than actually look at something from a different angle in an attempt to see a positive side.
  9. I have noticed the variance in difficulty on the H2+ but I'm not really sure it has anything to do with the Companion issues. Some H2+ have multiple stages, some of which, even with God-Companions can take up to 20 mins, while others can literally take a minute to do. I'm not sure which one it is, but there is one H2 where you enter the tunnel, kill a group of 3 mobs, run a short distance, kill 2 mobs at a terminal, then activate the terminal and you're done! Literally a minute or 2 to finish, less even. This quest structure (the variance in "difficulty") was in place well before 4.0, so I wouldn't put it down to that. More just a spread of difficulty, which, when you think about it, is actually fine. Some things in life are hard while at other times you get a break.
  10. I was thinking about bringing this up on the forums myself. While I understand it doesn't alleviate the problem some players have with how long the Heroic 2+'s take, the amount of time the Heroic 2+ terminal shaves off of running the H2+'s is massive, and I'm pretty much sure it out weighs the alleged "grind" some players are complaining about time-wise.
  11. Glad you're enjoying it. Word of advice 'tho, I'd steer clear of these forums at the moment and stick to in-game. This place has been horrible last few weeks and will suck any enthusiasm you may have faster than the Falcon did the Kessel Run.
  12. Roxis, Mercenary, TRE Your level: 65 Roughly Average Item Rating: 208/216 Discipline: Arsenal Companion : Pierce Companion role: Healer Companion Influence level: 24 Planetary Heroic 2+ Star Fortress Heroic 2+ Your personal experience while playing this content: Planetary Heroic 2+: These are all still very do-able, my only comment being the level-sync, On Hutta I only have to flutter my eye lashes and the H2 mobs die, which, on say Ilum, they take noticeably longer to kill. Level-sync feels like it needs tweaking in some way. Star Fortress H2+ : After reading the forums I was expecting this to be undo-able, which was not the case. While I found it more difficult than prior to 4.0.2 I completed it the first time through, with only 1 death in the third reactor room. Like my previous run throughs I made liberal use of Heroic Moments and the buffs. The balance of the play felt better than prior to the patch and I enjoyed that the instance, as "endgame" solo content, was more of a challenge.
  13. I don't really understand the posters on this thread poo-pooing the idea just because its an idea. Of course the Dev's should work on squashing bugs as a priority, but realistically I believe improving and adding to the possible playable races in the game could be a big pull, both in bringing-in new players as well as returners. Which is a healthy thing right? To be honest, in the Star Wars setting I really don't see the problem with Jawas as a playable race. How absurd you believe the idea of a Jawa Jedi leaping about in combat with a 'saber probably depends on how much you enjoyed the Yoda fight scenes in episode 5 and 6. Its basically the same thing, a little guy jumping around... I can't see what the problem is...
  14. Probably the most constructive post in the thread. If we have to live with these transitions at least make them partially entertaining. No one wants to sit for up to a minute watching a load bar fill-up. Heck, even randomly different load screens would be better than the single one for each local. Strange thing is this transitioning harks all the way back to Neverwinter Nights (and even further for Bioware) and in that game you could have random load screens. And that was back in 2003.
