  1. If it's not a Gibby, it's an Epi 56 Goldtop with P90's. Sweet axe!
  2. He's learned a lot from the Sith, he sees the code as a fairly good philosophy however he believes in peace. He is scared of his passion though and doesn't know how to view it.
  3. OOOOOHHHHH Amber is the color of my lightsaber

I miss Mr. Frusciante. It's just not the same without him. They're still up their for me, but I love their earlier stuff. Favorite band hands down is 311.
  5. Thanks so much for the responses guys. The details you've provided are awesome. Not sure how silly this may be, but I actually went to a military academy for college and then did not commission so I am finding it incredibly easy to draw parallels with this character and it has helped me really connect. Looking forward to RPing him more.
  6. Admittedly, I'm a casual Star Wars fan that has been totally inspired by this community. I have started RPing my BH Risca for the first time which is just a lot of fun for me. I've had some great experiences RPing for the firs ttime and it's opened up a new dimension to this game for me. I play Risca as a rough around the edges friendly Bounty Hunter. He usually doesn't give specifics about his work, loves to drink and loves women (although I don't want to come off as a creepy ERP dude so I focus his talk on NPC's or past experiences) and loves BS'ing at a bar. He is also creeped out by Sith, especially pure bloods. I have a cool story for him I think and he's very easy for me to play. I guess I play him a bit like I am in real life although exaggerated of course. Anyway, this makes him easy for me to play. I've just started a Sith warrior named Glacies that I'm enjoying very much. I want to play Glacies on the light side. I want him to be put off by the senseless loss of life and almost go against some of the grain of the Sith in general, but I want him to have that dark spark of being power hungry. Can he be a renegade of the Sith, or an outcast of the Sith? I want Glacies to be accurate for the universe. Can someone give me some pointers or just tell me it can't work?
  7. Alexandria Snow made my wife, who has never played SWoTR, start a smuggler last night. Absolutely incredible work!
  8. I always check the LFG tool. Nobody seems to ever use it, but rest assured you'd get a PM from me if I noticed you posted that you were looking for a group for a quest that I was willing and able to do. Rereading this thread, if there aren't that many people on the server, the LFG tool probably won't help you much. But two other options are joining the LFG chat channel. Type /cjoin LFG and then you'll be advertise to a broader range. Also, another option is joining a guild of like minded individuals that play at the same hour as you. Great place to make friends.
  9. This totally killed me. I'm an engineer and I might have to print this out to hide in my office. Awesome, awesome, awesome my friend!
  10. I agree, I'm married 3 years and even when we were dating we didn't acknowledge Valentine's day. The only time it had any meaning for me was when I was single and in college. I'd feel all lonely and sorry for myself then. Kind of ironic I guess.
  11. I made my character resemble me as well although with long hair (always wanted long hair). And I play him like someone else mentioned - as selfish and uncaring of consequences - something I can't do in real life with my wife and my family and my job. Bioware has always allowed me to connect to my characters very deeply though, from the DA series to ME's.
  12. I never really grouped with anyone in WoW other than some IRL friends so this is the first time I'm seeing how large and diverse this gaming population is. I'm excited and proud of the diversity!
  13. Wow, this thread took off. I'm 28, and get about 3 hours a day during the week too - Full time nuclear engineer during the waking hours. My wife doesn't so much care about the 3 hours during the week, but when I put in 10+ during the weekends is when I think she's going to bust out the papers!
  14. LOL - was the song "It's Raining Men" playing in the background?
  15. Let me preface this by saying I'm not sexist, but when I started gaming (wow that's weird to say) - girls in gaming was unheard of. As a result, I call everyone "dude" and "bro" and lately, people have been telling me they're Chicks. In the past I haven't believed them but still treat everyone respectfully so I don't think it mattered. However, I was reading a female members blog recently and she mentioned how she kind of resented that type of mentality and I realized how I was kind of being sexist and didn't even know it. Anyway, as a result I don't do that anymore. They're a huge female community here and correcting people who assume that they're dudes isn't a cry for attention, it's more reminding people to respect that there's women in gaming now. My $0.02...
  16. Risca Fenix - Bounty Hunter Medium - Risca isn't quick to start a fight and for the most part is willing to talk things through. He gets mad for all the right reasons. Medium - On important missions, Risca is all business. However, if some Hutt is out to make a buck or some creepy Sith Lord is looking to do something weird, Risca will listen to alternatives provided the proper compensation is provided. Medium - He is moderately social and can be friendly. He always enjoys good conversation especially when accompanied with proper refreshment. Knowing he's the most dangerous thing in a room makes him comfortable in any situation. Highly Flirty - He is totally fearless and when possible will enjoy the company of any woman that falls for his cheesy and straightforward advances. High - Part of enjoying life means making ones self laugh as well. High - He is lighthearted in attitude, but you won't see him prancing about. Step in and do something - Again, he knows he's the most dangerous thing anywhere he goes. No, that story was boring and I will not "lie" to a friend
  17. I think this is a great idea, but I'm not level 50 yet, so I can't participate other than to bring that mentality with me in general to the server. It'd be really nice if we could have a dedicated server forum so we can organize this type of thing better. Seems like this subforum doesn't get much traffic.
  18. Checking in! I'd love to be a part of more community action on this server.
  19. Thanks for doing this. Seems like our server isn't nearly as socially active as some of the others so it's good to see people putting these sorts of things together. I'd love to join in, but Friday nights are bad for game time for me. I'll see what I can do though.
  20. I play a Mercenary named Risca. Like other's I'm just trying to follow my story through and level up a bit. Risca is my main and I've created another Smuggler on Ebon Hawke because it seemed like a more active RP server, but at this point I'd rather invest time in working on Risca than the Smuggler. I really like Ven Zallow and like many people have said, seems like a really great community so far. Everyone has been incredibly polite and respectful that I've teamed up with.
  21. Thanks very much. I'm very new to RP and these guides definitely help. I'm actually amazed at how open and helpful this particular community is.
  22. Might be silly, but I would love it if there was a neutral faction. I realize the questing options might be difficult to deal with and would require extra writing/organization, but BH's shouldn't have to necessarily align with the Empire, and nor should Smugglers.
