Didnt really think of it like this but really u can play aby style u want for example i cud play and rp as part of the empire but try and bring a peacefuller side to it etc. Eg light side options.

Thanks for the replies guys never thought of it but i guess i could start with leveling 1 on each side until i make one a main. Never thought bout smuggler tbh but will.give it a try soon to test it out. I must say i prefer the sith jugger/assasin to there mirrored guardian/shadow. Though guardian is pretty good but shadow meh dosnt feel the same as an assasin. But yea i agree with you dont have to play up to ur allegience so like if i go empire i can at times be light and be peaceful etc. Spose we wills have to test some more.

Hello guys, This isnt really a thread in regards that im asking for someone to pick me a class etc but rather i want to see your views on the matter. Basically im finding it hard at the moment to choose my class and allegiance just due to the fact that i enjoy them all! In regards to allegiance im not sure which to go really, i love the sound of both but dont always agree with both at times if you get what i mean. I'd hate to bring swg into this but thats where i like there way as you could go empire or republic or stay neutral. I like the look of empire and like there ways at times but ddont always agree so to speak, but thats the same with republic. As for classes, at the moment im leveling a few to 15 to test them out. In the past ive had jedi sage, jedi guardian, sith juggernaught, sith assasin, jedi shadow, vanguard and now.currwntly testing a imperial agent. I know thats alot but just testing them lol. Out of these i liked the sith jugger nd assasin and jedi guardian, i quite enjoyed the trooper and find theagent interesting. Id like to point out that i like to roleplay and world pvp. I enjoy melee classes but ive seen a new light to the range classes apart from jedi sage , didnt enjoy that. Any advice or opinions are much appreciated Regards

It wasnt ever the case of what the writer or director of the orgininal films portrayed who is good and who is bad. I started this thread wanting peoples own personal views and opinions. Theres no right or wrong awnser as everyone views there chracacters and allegience differntly.

Nice to see all these replies with different views on the subject. See i honestly havnt read much on the history etc but yea as some stated before the writer has made the sith come across as bad guys whilst republic as the good I personally think that the world is full of religions in our case its sith empire and republic (i know its technically not a religion) and so forth theres going to be wars etc though if you stop for one moment and imagine the whole entire galaxy was rule by either just the empire or just the republic there will still be somthing to fight about.

Hey guys. Just thought i'd start this thread as it came up in a discussion with a group of friends. Who do you think are the bad guys sith empire or galactic republic? And why do you think that. Reason i ask as we was on about WoW aswell saying that the horde wernt actually bad guys they just had different views some good some bad but just like the alliance. Lets see what you think, be nice to hear your views.

Well i do like the sound of the assasin as stated before. Ideally i will prob be going more for pvp and as stated before i will be roleplaying alot aswell with m choosen class. Its defantly between assassin and juggernaught :-) how similar is jugger to guardian? I quite enjoyed the guardian playbut got bored of.republic gameplay. Never played assasin though or its mirror jedi shadow. Thanks again for ur replys.

Thanks for the replys guys. Got it narrowed down to 2 now, either want to got sith warrior and take the juggernaught path or go sith inquisitor and take the assasin part. Any views or facts on these 2 will be much appreciated. Jugernaughts look pretty bad *** but i like the fact assasins can use force lightning etc. Many thanks.

So if i went empire I would prob go in the LS path, I heard rping a LS sith is quite interesting if you know what your doing. Thing is Ebonhawk is american? im fron england so in my timezone will the server be less populated? Though i heard ebonhawk is pretty good for rp

Hi there, 1) I agree although its not first piority it sure is nice to come upw ith your own ships name. 2) Create private servers? Can you explain on this? You can always invite your friends and meet up on your server and play in a group. Works same way. 3) I dont think they should open more RP servers but offer more functions to the game to improve roleplay. 4) Variations of crystals: Like this idea alot. Though im happy with the current colors.

Hey guys, Im currently playing on Lord Calypho and to be honest fro my experience there is very little roleplay for what ive seen and when i've tried to start roleplay people dont seem much interested. So is there any other EU rp/rp-pvp server that has more roleplayer in it? Ive notice by reading a few threads that the US servers seem to be more active with roleplay but I didnt really wanna play on a US server due to being affected by the timezones... Regards.

To be honest I actually fully agree with you here, the lightsaber I use at the moment looks like a chrome vibrator.... I would of thought that when you first get your lightsaber you customize the hilt in a way similar to the character creation screen and then that hilt stays the same throughout, giving you then the ability to still mod it with stats and crystals. But im not loosing sleep over it, i guess people may get bored with same looking hilt or somthing.

I actually like my ship, not the best.. but still I find it quite nice But yea as for my annoying droid asking me day in, day out if i need food! lol!

I understand the opinion on if the OP but imo as some one else has said, if you take the lightsaber away from a sage then all you have is a wizard lol. At the end of the day the lightsaber is a jedi's weapon at hand, theres been numerous of times where in pvp my force bar has been at the low (Due to heals and attacks) and my last resort was the final blow of my saber Though I do 100% agree that I wish we had the choice when to draw it in combat etc, as someone said, it automatically draws when you heal someone which is kinda wierd.

Excuse me if these ideas have already been suggested but i'll share my views. In all I find the game a breath of fresh air however I am slightly puzzled to why theres so many minor things missing, but then again this is just early stages and have a long way to go to improve. But anyway here we go: Camera - I dont like the fact that when you spin the camera around to look freely, when you move your character forward the camera spins back. Though i've gotten use to it, it still would be nice to run looking at your character. (good for filiming aswell ) Useable chairs - I see hundreds of chairs/benches dotted around and yet none can be used (Especially in cantinas!). I understand this isnt a BIG issue but its nice on social and roleplay perspective to sit down and chill, chat with friends etc. I know swtor made the game for less downtime as possible but let the player decide wether or not they want some downtime? Cantinas: Im not comparing here but in SWG cantinas were popular and had that 'feel' to them, again was also good for roleplay moments. I've visted a few cantinas and found them amazing but like the idea above, allow us to sit down in them. Maybe bring in games like in the KOTOR series, did like that in kotor 1. Space/ships: When i first entered space on my toon I found it fantastic, after doing the 4 missions I then found it rather repetitive and wonder to myself will this be the same as I progress the levels (Level 20 atm). Again this isnt a big issue and could be added in a expansion but make space free flight? So we can explore the galaxy, have mini missions prop up etc. Another thing I was miniorly disapointed about was the fact I couldnt name my ship? Again this isnt anything to drastic but just helps build your player.

OK im just as excited to play this game as much as the next person, but to all these ragers, calm the heck down. Its only 7 days until the offical launch anyway, yea ok it would be nice to play early but 7 days isnt much... If you had read the T&C of the pre-order you would have seen statements such as: "AVAILABILITY OF EARLY GAME ACCESS IS SUBJECT TO CHANGE AT ANY TIME BY EA IN ITS SOLE DISCRETION." "ENTITLEMENT TO EARLY ACCESS IS CONTINGENT ON THE DATE OF YOUR PRE-ORDER AND THE RELEASE DATE OF THE PRODUCT." And to those moaning about the £5 which they assume grants them early access.. The £5 is a "Pre order fee" and if you went to any shop that offers a pre order service you would pay a fee (also known as a deposit), such as my mate paid £10 to pre order gears of war 3 before its release. So bioware isnt screwing you over there. And the end of the day its only 7 days, like many i've waited over a year im sure people can wait 7 days if they dont get early access.
