  1. Ya, Anturi Reach was 2, until I logged out. My re-roll - Bondar Crystal - 14 On Fleet 5/8 2 pm EST - not prime time, sure, but really it isn't much better in the evenings. Ya, the game is seriously broken. I am NOT re-rolling x 3.
  2. My Gripe - Character transfer is an ordinary feature in most MMO's. It's not as if you had to reinvent the wheel EA/Bioware. Couldn't you have provided this feature at launch? I think the populations would have definitely benefitted.
  3. How many times can one person re-roll to find others to play with? Add to this that re-rolling defeats the entire purpose of a legacy, the central focus of the game. I have spread characters across so many servers in my search for life. My Gripe - Character transfer is an ordinary feature in most MMO's. It's not as if you had to reinvent the wheel EA/Bioware. Couldn't you have provided this feature at launch? I think the populations would have definitely benefitted. I really wanted a legacy, was excited, instead I have 12 characters spread across 4 servers. (Only 2 50s)
  4. I am surprised to find myself considering canceling my subscription. I played wow for years and was truly looking forward to a new game. How did I get here? I loved the game until it became a ghost town. Now that there is no one to play with, I think I'm outta here. First, my original server became low pop., then my re-roll server became empty, so I think I'm done. Maybe my expectations are to blame, maybe a new MMO is simply going to result in this outcome. This is the first time I have played a game at launch, so it may be a perception problem on my part. I expected play for years, at least this was my prediction, and maybe I still will. I may return. 5. I agree. But the free transfers are likely to be one-way passes to low-population servers from high population servers. Who would accept a free one-way ticket to Anturi Reach? (crickets) This is the formula I have seen in the past. Things are left to escalate until some servers have atrocious waits, and then this population is given a free one-way ticket to a "ghost-town" server.
  6. OOOh! Now, the bulk character transfer is something that I could really get behind! Free? I doubt that the "Powers that Be" will be so benevolent. They did respond to my direct inquiry with an accusation - "You are the one that selected a server with a low population."
  7. Yes, I should add too that I really do enjoy the game when I can find people to play. The new WZ is awesome and I've enjoyed searching for the new pets, the event was entertaining. Though try catching the plague when on 9 people are on the fleet. I spent more time running off - fleet to acquire the plague than exploding, that was disappointing. On my re-roll, everyone stood in front of the pvp bounty board and it was like pop-corn. I'm dreading the fix because it will be paid transfers, and I know that I'll be faced with either 100$+ to transfer my legacy or stay and watch everyone flee. As I've stated in other threads, anyone that can read will avoid Anturi Reach in the future. Why not merge instead? Please!
  8. You know the fix will be paid transfers and, of course, anyone that can read will avoid my **** server Anturi Reach. Empty servers will likely become even more desolate. So I’ll either pay 100+ $s to transfer my many toons or suffer on a deserted server after everyone transfers.
  9. I am on Anturi Reach and in the peakest of hours we may reach 20. During the Rakgoul event I think we even reached 24 on the fleet at one point in time. Skarky? I know, but things are dismal. I started a guild on AR with a real life friend who is playing his first MMO. He refuses to leave his sizable legacy and re-roll, so now we usually play separately because I did re-roll. We had a 3rd friend playing but she quit as the situation on AR started to decline. Example - There have been nights when I have played from 6 - 10 pm with zero WZs popping. You are lucky if you can get 2-3 between these hours. (Level 1-49 WZs, mind you) The "Powers that Be" explained it was my fault for selecting a low pop. server. Let me explained how that happend. My friend received the game from me for xmas, and selected his server at like 2 am 12/26. As this is his first MMO, he simply selected the first server from the list (or very nearly) - Anturi Reach. Was Anturi Reach one of the 3-4 servers added immediately after launch? I think so. Yippee for my friend! He would have found it difficult to select a ****ier server, no? The plus is, though, rare items are easy to come by. I've picked up 6 Unusual Eggs on AR, and I have failed to find one on my re-roll server. lol Trying to end on a positive. If I can't play the game with my friends, then I'm not sure that I want to play SWTOR. I may go back to my former MMO and watch and wait. Sigh

  11. Word! I expressed my concern to the powers that be only to be told it was my fault for selecting a low pop. server. Boo!
  12. I received a polite spam today from SWTOR with advice for players “10 and beyond” so wanted to respond in kind with some advice for SWTOR. My advice for EA games/SWTOR: Beyond Launch Fix broken or unoccupied servers. Stop blaming your customer for choosing a "light" server. When only 7 people are in the fleet during primetime (8pm EST) that is seriously broken. A light server should still be able to accommodate all activities offered through the game. When a pvp que takes 2.5 hours to pop that is unacceptable. My complaints have been met with, “well, you chose the server.” Sigh, I started a guild and invested heavily on my server only to learn that no one is playing here. -One angry resident of Anturi Reach that is sadly ready to return to my former MMO

  14. Sure it isn't exactly prime time - 10:30 am EST. Nonetheless, I scan the list of available US servers and ALL but TWO servers are "LIGHT." My guild mates are dropping like flies. For the last 2-3 evenings, only the same 3-4 people log in. Typically, early in the game, our guild was operating with 12-20 people on at any given time. If we wait until April for a fix, will anyone be left?
