  1. I've just gotten to the point of buying a Legacy set for each toon type. IE: My DPS Commando/Merc share 1 set of Legacy gear for them. My Tank Vanguard/PT the same, etc... There are a bunch of Legacy sets now (Gree/Makeb/CZ/Bounty Contract) with Color packs you can make some cool sets. It's also slight cheaper long term since you at least not ripping the mods back out of the legacy gear. (Aside from the gear cost itself)
  2. Noble-Team might be a good fit for you if your still shopping. We are a fairly laid-back group, with a grown-up sense of humor. Most of our players are in there 20-40's, so if you need a break for Wife, Ex-Wife, Kid, Pets Agro we understand that. Most of us have jobs or college commitments and families, and therefore we support the premise that real-life has priority over game-life. Checkout our current recruitment thread: http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=749180 If you interested Whisper myself, nene, or Slicerella if we are on. You can do a "/who noble-team" in the chat window for a list of people online in the guild. Except for new recruits, almost anyone can give you invites and info if an officer isn't around.

  4. Guild Name: Noble-Team Faction: Republic Focus: PvE ,PvP, Adult, Casual, Raiding, all game has to offer Website: http://swtornobleteam.enjin.com/ We are always looking for active, friendly and mature people to play with. Noble-Team has been around since beta on various PvE servers and most of our members have also been around since then. We would like for new members to be subscribed or preferred as that is the status of our current members, but that is not a requirement. We are a fairly laid-back group, with a grown-up sense of humor. As such we request that our members be 18+ because we sometimes use adult language in chat. Most of our players are in there 20-40's, so if you need a break from the wife/husband, ex-wife/ex-husband, kid/pet agro; we understand that. Most of us have jobs or college commitments and families, and therefore we support the premise that real-life has priority over game-life. We also have a sister guild on the Imperial side. Currently we’re looking for all roles For FP, PVP, Space PVP and Operations. We have no set attendance requirements. You don't have to participate in operations unless you want to. Our only requirement is that if you do want to run the OPS, you have to have mumble to at least listen to the team. Our Mumble is active throughout the week (Primarily from 5PM EST to about 11PM EST). We welcome alts and we are more than willing to help any new/returning players to learn their class and/or level. We will not exclude our members / players from a "guild run" because they do not have gear (if we can carry them)! Generally our organized raids happen Thursday through Saturday, in the evenings. And we will do adhoc stuff other nights of the week and Sundays. If you interested, either fill out an app on our site, or Whisper myself, nene, or Slicerella if we are on. You can do a "/who noble-team" in the chat window for a list of people online in the guild. Except for new recruits, almost anyone can give you invites and info if an officer isn't around.
  5. Hi, Here's a quick list of people you can look for online. Ashesunei Nene Slicerella Kharrde Chintoll Yonkers Lirella Drineth Those are all guild officers who should be able to answer questions, do invites, etc. You can do a "/who noble-team" in the chat window for a list of people online in the guild. 6. Mass Drivers! Awesome! I think I will name mine 'Ele'
  7. Hi! I think my guild Noble-Team would be a good fit for you if you wanted to give us a try. Were a casual guild, who does it's Ops runs on Friday and Saturdays. We don't have a dedicated progression team and play mostly for fun. Though we do like trying to run HM's when we can, we definitely do SM OPS. And I'll be honest, we are trying to back to having enough people to do 16Man runs. We have more then that in number of Paying subscribers, but getting everyone on at the same time is the larger issue (Adults with Wives/Husbands/GF/BF/Kids/Jobs/Pets, etc.) We have Our own Mumble Server, website (http://swtornobleteam.enjin.com/), etc. The guild has been around since the Open beta, and Originally on the Grand Master Zym server, so we've been around the full time (Has it really been 2 years already). Either send me a PM here, or in Game. Any of the following toons if there on Ashesunei, Nene or Slicerella, Khaarde can give you an invite, that's me and the assistant GM's main toons. Usually most nights after 6-7PM EST. Mark

  10. Somehow ended up with a double post---Deleted the 2nd. Sorry
  11. You'll find all trooper guilds, but doubtful any Mandolorian guilds
  12. I would even go on to say that even with PvE, most long term users have Mirror classes on both sides and can/do play equally on either side. Even most Casual guilds have an Imp and Rep Side. Mine does at least. Mark

  14. Hi, Can you update Noble-Team so that we are recruiting? The can either apply on: Website: https://swtornobleteam.enjin.com/ Or Whisper/Message Me (Ashesunei), Nene, or Slicerella in game. Oh, and we do have 4 or so at the moment that are really into GSF PVP, so add that as well. Thanks, Ashe

  16. Hi can you Add Me. Nene/Jelly-donut Advanced Commando Armoring 31 Advanced Reflex Armoring 31 Thanks
  17. Stabbin, Misry, etc are kinda bored with PVP since the 2.0 update/changes. That's what Misry was telling me on Mumble over the weekend.

  19. This was correct pre 2.0. However things have changed with 2.0 and beyond. Primary stats now are: Defense -> Sheild -> Absorb. There are quite a few threads on this in the tanking specific forum, but the 2 of primary interest would be these: Ideal Tank Stat Distribution in 2.0 http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=616779 In the above thread, you'll want to look at the vanguard section obviously. Tanking 2.0 Stats Spreadsheet: http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=640398&page=2 There are details on how to use the spread sheet in the post itself. It's a few changes. --- Both of the above are based on adding up your "Stat Pool" (IE, the hard # for Def, sheild and abosrb), and then based on that total #, how much you should be putting into each. To as you get better gear and augments, you'll have to make adjustments.
  20. Yeah, this didn't happen. It's not in the patch notes and: 3. Scavenging: Hollinium will no longer be acquirable through doing missions 4. Archaeology Perfect Carbonic Crystal will no longer be acquirable through doing missions As of yesterday I've probably had 20+ of each of these Items drop from missions. Hopefully tomorrows patch will fix this.
  21. Both of these were mentioned, but I'll add my vote/comments to them. 1) The Hub-Spoke raid with tied in Flashpoints. IE, A BIG Raid. Where you can 'finish' one part, move on to the next. (And I hate using this since it's quoting another game, but Uldaar for example). 2) "Alternate Gear". Why is the Top PVE gear only the set gear? Make the mobs 'useful' in ops, and have a gear alternates that drop as semi rare randoms from them. 3) EPIC Loot items. Same idea as above, but entire quest lines to get them. And I'm not talking easy. These should be the BIS slot that anyone can get, but they need drops from OPS, Flashpoints, and maybe even PVP to get them. And not even 1 OP run, but lets say 20 runs just to get that one mat.
  22. I agree, I'm on Grand Master Zym, and while nothing like the servers that are now 'full', we've had and continue to have a healthy community on the server. PvP Q's from 2pm to around 2am only on average of 2-10 minutes for instances, and at least 20-30 active guilds doing PvE and PvP content. I'm betting you'll see these merged maybe 3 into 1 for instance, which is more of a 'fine tune'... Ashe
  23. If the new instance is a really large multi stage one it would be enough, and is something BW/EA hasn't done yet. I hate to compare it to WoW, but I'm thinking something like ICC or Ulduar , where there are multiple stages of bosses that have to be defeated to unlock the next stage. If the new instance is structured like that, it would certainly be enough for a while. Just my $0.02, Ashe
