it took me 1 week with max 6 WZ a day back on Atho city post patch 1.2 to go from full recruit to full itemized BM on my assassin. it took 2 months to do the same on the merc before the removal of Illum and the token system. in 12 days of ATK playing time i have gone from lvl 1 to 50 with only 3 pieces of WH missing. (implants and ear piece) my point is the gear grind does not take long at all. Do i want a gear grind. no. i'd rather just hit lvl 50 and have my pvp set handed to me so i can go out and compete against other players on an equal base. i value skill based pvp over gear based anyday but most players i've ever ran into pvp for rewards not the thrill of the gameplay itself. in my opinion you should be handed out a perfectly calibrated pvp set once you hit lvl 50 that is useless in pve (put a 100% dmg reduction to NPC on it). and as you progress in pvp you can trade the set in for cooler looking stuff with the same stats. i enjoy a victory alot more in a 1v1 fight if i know we have equially good equipment because then i know im better than someone. not that i have better stuff than them

the battlemaster stuff is just awefull, and looks nothing like anything that belongs in star wars. the War Hero is a different story, if you remove the retardedly big shoulder pads and fit something more functional for shoulder protection instead. as for the PVE sets the columi/rakata just:rak_02:

commando = merc, Powertech = Vanguard. if you're going to compair heat cost vs ammo do it with the same class;)
