  1. The loot table is fine. It's working as intended. Loot you don't like, sell. Loot you want, buy. That's the whole reason for the way they do it.
  2. I HATE people like you. You assume that everyone else is like you. You assume that everyone wants to team up with folk they don't know, people not on voice coms, someone who may or may not be able to play their char to it's fullest. If I wanted to team up with folks, I'd have a LFG flag up. I'd be spaming the local channel. I'd be asking anyone who approaches the NPC giving out the mission. I understand why they put the same quest flag on, but if you want to team with someone, start a conversation with them. DON'T blind invite.
  3. When your char gets to 50, and you're tired of pvping and such, roll an alt. This game has no end content yet. It'll be months, if not a year or more before we see some. Just roll and alt.
  4. A guild is a group of people who play together. The best thing they can do to "fix" this issue is... -Allow guilds to be started by one person. You can't always get your buddies online at once to get a guild started. - Account lvl chatting. Instead of having to add every alt my friends have to my friends lists, allow me to add one of their char's, then allow my friend to authorise me to see him on any of his char's. Dark/light. -create a "fleet pass" that goes to a smaller ship that's just for my guild. As your guild grows, the size of the ship gets upgraded. This ship would have a guild bank/storage of items, with REAL sorting. -Allow me to chat to friends who are playing on the other side. If I'm on a dark side char, and a friend is on the light side, I can't see if he's online, and because of that, I can't connect with him in game to group up. Connecting to other players is very hard in this game.
  5. If you want to get to 50 ASAP to pvp, then anyway they make the game, it's going to be slow. If you are in it for the story, then the game is fine. The problem is, WAY too many people think that the fun part of this game is the stuff that happens at 50. Thing is that's only part of this game. The journey to lvl 50 is just that. A journey. If you just want it to be over so you can get to the "good stuff" it's going to be a grind.
  6. The "weird" thing is that everyone is expecting so much once they hit 50. The thing is, the journey IS the game atm. Everything else at 50 is a stopgap addon. For PVP to have meaning, there must be a goal besides winning the fight. If we want PVP with goals, look to EVE online. Plant your flag, and defend it from everyone. In almost every other mmo, pvp is a contrived way of getting groups of people to fight over nothing. Theres no sense of accomplishment. Can we slowly take over a planet (FOR THE EMPIRE)<FOR THE REPUBLIC>... The other aspect is that the servers are just too small. I've seen corporations in EVE online with more people in them then this game has on each server. I love this game. But to me, it's just a single player game with some co-op.
  7. Phenom II 940@ 3ghz. 4 gigs ram SSD HD GTX590 Vid card. 2560x1600 res. Win 7. Max settings. Though I don't pvp. Only graphics problem I get is when I set a destination in my ships computer, and turn around to head to the airlock. It's stuttery there. Which is weird since it's just the interior of the ship it's rendering.
  8. Because all the people who're having fun are too busy playing the game. Though I'm here to wait out a damned Death time. **** spawning behind you 20 seconds after you've cleared that location SUCKS.
  9. I had this problem last night. Someone sent me an invite. I declined. He then cursed me out in local for having LFG flag on when I didn't want to group. I explained that I did NOT have the LFG option flagged. I automatically decline any invite that's not accompanied with a convo. His response was that I was in the same area as he was and I should want to group up. Where is the logic in this? Just because I'm in the local Mall does it mean i'm there to shop? sheesh.
  10. Solo content IS what you've just done. It's 50 levels of stories, fights, side quests, exploration and so on. To solo players that IS the content. To pvpers, it's the part you grind though to get to "the good stuff" of pvp. My suggestion... Roll an alt. I'm very similar to you. I primarily solo as I just don't have the ability to join up with friends and game with them. Alts are your friend. Explore more. Build more. Hell, go back and join a guild.
  11. mount verb (used with object) 1. to go up; climb; ascend: to mount stairs. 2. to get up on (a platform, a horse, etc.). 3. to set or place at an elevation: to mount a house on stilts. 4. to furnish with a horse or other animal for riding. 5. to set or place (a person) on horseback. No where on there does it say any type of transportation but a horse. PLEASE stop calling them mounts. They are personal transportation devices. Cars. Planes. Vehicles. They are not mounts. The only time we should be seeing people use the term mount is when they are talking about mounting a Nerf or some other type of ANIMAL.
  12. The whole commendation thing annoys me. "For your service to the people of blah blah, we give you this gold medallion as a token of our thanks." "Thank you Mayor Stinky..<Wonder what I can hock this thing for?>" It's just a bad system. Receiving loot.. I understand. Receiving credits, I understand. Receiving something that is in limited supply, that can only be gotten on one planet, and cannot be combined with OTHER items similar to it.. stupid. It's a grinding tool. That's it. And a poor one at that.
  13. I wish. This is one of the things I hate about this game. Even if it doesn't say what char they're on, at least tell us they're online so we can message them on whatever char they're on. If they want to keep things anonymous, make it so we only see the name of the char that we add first. Example: If my login name is johnathan, and my char name is Da'Feris, then any friend that adds me while i'm online with that char, all they see is Da'Feris. Not the char's I'm online with at any given time. This way we can have friends on both sides of the war, and actually be able to communicate with them. Considering the small population of each server, this would help immensely improve the feeling of community.
  14. To the OP, this is a new MMO that is still in it's 1st month after launch. Bugs are something that will be an ongoing thing. This is NORMAL for MMO's. Old bugs will be fixed, new bugs will pop up. Seeing as you say, "So ive done everything..now what?"... The Now what part is that you roll an alt. Then another. Then another. That's what you DO in MMO's of this type. It's not EVE online, with it's PVP . PVP in this game is structured make work. Not real PVP like we see in an MMO like EVE Online. If you are running a guild, then maybe creating new char's to play the game with new/inexperienced players would give you something to do. Other wise.. 8 Char Slots per server... it suggests what?
  15. The trick is not to do missions that are above level for you till you're able to solo effectively. If you look at the missions in your mission log (L) you can see the level of the missions. If you are lvl 10 and the mission is a lvl 12, you'll find all the minions preforming like LT's. And all the LT's preforming like boss's. The same thing happens in reverse. If you are lvl 12 and you're doing a lvl 10 mission, it's a walk in the park. Do ALL the missions on a planet before moving on to the next. This will keep you from getting into missions you're too low level for.
  16. I stand in front of the mission I want to join in on. When I see others come up, I pop up a LFG to to do XXX The reason why you don't see a lot of people spamming for the same missions is because there are so few people on each server. Most servers see 50-120 people in any given planet. Those people are spread amongst 2 to 3 dozen missions, it's not unusual for there to be very few people who actually want to do the mission you want at the same time as you. Give it a few months for the server populations to increase and even out, for player populations to spread amongst the levels/planets.
