  1. youre right i havent actually put myself in the form in ages. sigh! Thank you
  2. Am i going crazy? I just came back from a 3 week hiatus and am noticing that im not auto critting with my blade storm after a blade rush. I've been combat specced since level 10 and am valor rank 53.. blade rush into a blade storm was the staple prior and now i just literally had it not auto crit when on the next GCD i follow up the blade rush with a blade storm. anybody else experiencing this?
  3. Thank you Bioware and thank you Xcore, now im itching to see what the changes bring. not cancelling sub
  4. ^^^ little offtopic guys bumping this for great justice i just spent the night pvping on my sentinel, i wasnt even playing wow before this but im abot to go resub just because i want a breath of FRESH AIR of crisp combat. How laggy/delayed/horrible this pathetic excuse for PVP is i cant even begin to describe... I'm just really frustrated and venting, so tired of not being able to interrupt, mashing ability hoping it will go off, being rooted BY MY OWN master strike animation, being chain CCed because resolve bar is worthless.. Basically, ive not felt this frustrated in a video game in a long, long time. Sad thing is, every time i play now it frustrates me more and more.. im so close to quitting :/ and its a shame because im such a star wars fan and bioware fan :(:(
  5. i really think they need to tweak centering abilities for combat, theyre somewhat lacking tbh. I personally enjoy playstyle of combat and will stick with that. I am always one of the top damage dealers, however if there is a watchman sent in the same warzone he usually out-dpses me significantly. Im hoping with some CC balance (endless roots, snares, knockbacks... besides chains of stuns) and centering tweaks combat will regain more contact time with the target and therefore catch up in damage with watchman. I have faith in it and am just not into dots. we'll see
  6. i think the OP is anything but a "hater troll," he's been level headed in all of his responses and very constructive, bringing forth actual evidence to the issue and encouraging discussion for a game he clearly cares about and wants to succeed. Rather than namecalling responses like yours that are just L2P LOLHATERTROLL NO ISSUES HERE just sayin
  7. subs increase for any new mmo, especially a long awaited one with a star wars IP. We want to see SWTOR retain them and succeed where others have failed. the fact that you just pulled the teenager crap tells me a lot more about you, and that its simply not worth arguing with you. If you think people should adapt to your way of thinking, and your way of handling a problem, then theres nothing more for anybody to discuss with you. Please be self-righteous elsewhere.
  8. I am paying for Swtor, i am choosing this MMO over others, if it doesnt deliver i will not pay for it. Your analogy simply does not work, im sorry, however if you want to use it... Even in real life i try not to settle, if i dont like my neighborhood i will try to make more money to move to a better neighborhood. This game has a problem, most of us see it, we all want it to succeed and none of us want to "go back to wow" or wait for GW2. I want to be playing this game for years, i want to see this fixed. This is not catering to a minority, this is making SWTOR viable long-term.
  9. I think there are some integral differences in perspectives of some of the forum posters, particularly (from where i stand) ones defending the current mechanics. If you are casual, simply are not into competition or just play it at YOUR level and not the high end level, then it is all fine and dandy. Please move on and play the game and enjoy yourself, Swtor is relying on your subs. However for those of us who may *gasp* play for pvp or some kind of competition (be it raid progression), where reaction time pays off and being able to adjust to what is going on instantaneously, this is a MASSIVE problem. However there are those, and this was previously stated, who may simply not even know why theyre not liking the game or why it grows stale--and this would be my number one guess. When you feel this disconnected with your own character it breaks immersion, it creates frustration, it makes you log off. I was FRANTIC when i first got this game, playing non stop.. and i still love it, even just questing and leveling. However now every time i notice these issues it makes me wanna stop, hell right now im sitting by my computer not even playing when i normally would be. Let me give you another example as to why this is a major issue for me-- Take WoW, you dont understand how much i dislike the game and have quit it 10+ times. However EVERY TIME i come back i FORCE myself to ignore what i hate about it (from art design, to how generic it is, i even dislike BGs and arena as pvp settings) only to play for the GAMEPLAY, as wow is the only game with such complexity in pvp that allows immediate reaction and connection with your character. Every time i died in wow in pvp for example, i could pinpoint what i did wrong. Most of my sentinel pvp losses in swtor i dont even know *** just happened, sometimes my abilities dont fire, sometimes i think they do but they dont. Theres no connection that i feel with my toon and it makes me really upset. I could repeat same warzones ad nauseum if the gameplay elements were there, theyre NOT. Also, dont feed me your "queue up your ability, stop mashing nooob". I can literally be facerolling on my keyboard if i choose to, but the keys my face hits better be synching up with what my character is doing, that is the only job bioware has as a developer. Tldr: I love star wars, i love the idea of a star wars mmo, i love questing the way bioware did it, but i will cancel my sub by end of 30 days if this is at least not mentioned and it will sadden me to do so. It will throw swtor right there with warhammer and other mmos that failed, maybe keeping a slightly larger sub due to it being star wars.
  10. Ive already expressed my support for this thread and the fact that if this does not get fixed or at least mentioned, i will be simply cancelling. ive never even POSTED on an mmo forum before and i played most of them, this is the biggest issue for me by far. Anyhow, i was wondering if anyone with an educated guess (programming background) can simply provide their insight into whether this is something that is so difficult to fix, something that is impossible to fix due to being integral to the engine, or something that will most likely be adjusted easily? Thank you
  11. Please, please please please, address this bioware. I will play forever if you fix this, but will cancel my sub if you do not. simple as that
  12. would like to sign this as well. I can wait on balances, new content, anything if i believe the CORE MECHANICS are worthy. This is by fair the MAIN problem i have with the game, if this is figured out i cant see myself moving on from the game in a long long time.. Please bioware, at least acknowledge this so some of us can rest easy while we wait.
  13. I just beat angral at level 32 without any buffs, heal pots, and with 30% health left. interrupt, interrupt, interrupt, use force cloak when needed let kira tank a bit. really a very easy fight imo. im combat specced too. I do struggle at times in pve but when it comes down to it is because im simply lazy with mobs, if i ever die and redo the elite i at times end up at 90% health after dying to the same elite 10 seconds ago... just gotta time your crap. i like my sent in pvp but the game does have some inherent flaws that make sent more difficult (read: combat fluidity, pvp lag). Watchman probably makes this easier and ive seen a good watchman destroy everything, but its just not my spec of preference personally. Basically: bioware will tweak it, its still all doable just hotkey your crap, dont be slow, and play smart. I do like how this games pve is not a total faceroll, makes it a little more interesting and engaging.
  14. just wanted to drop in and support the idea of world pvp. hands down most fun ive had WAS in world pvp and i know its somewhat of a risky move for any themepark mmo but guys (talking to you mythic employees), THINK MORDRED/ANDRED (i.e. looting gold if you win, losing con if you die) kind of consequences. Also get rid of companions in world pvp. Im assuming these things were said already, so bump
  15. playing my bounty hunter (lev20) in last build of beta was a whole lot smoother than my sentinel feels (lev25). Limited experience but still, and cant really put my finger on it, but the flow on my sentinel is definitely a lot less fluid. However will wait for 50 to make that claim fully
