  1. That may be the intent, it is certainly not working that way for me. I would like an official BioWare clarification on this so that I can write up bug tickets properly. Also, it's a significant difference to those of us who enjoy getting Conquest on alts; it's frustrating to not have a clear idea of what is intended vs. bugged rewards.
  2. For the blue and no icon items: is that repeatable/once per week PER LEGACY, or per character?
  3. Can someone from BioWare let us in on the super-secret meaning of the purple triangle in the Conquest Objectives list? Thus far it appears to mean "randomly gives Conquest points for completing activities". As far as feedback: I canceled my subscription yesterday after spending 2 hours trying to figure out how the new UI and conquest point rewards actually function. Group activity is at a standstill and I feel punished for having alts that I enjoy playing. The reason I had been enjoying this game is teaming up with my guildies to earn Conquest and generally have fun in a group environment. Now, everyone is talking but no one is doing.
  4. 1. When is Dual Spec coming, and will it only be available in the Cash Shop? 2. When is Nightmare Mode Denova coming? 3. Timeline for Makeb/level cap increase? 4. When is HK-51 coming, and is HK-51 a mandatory purchase for those who want access to the increased level cap? 5. When will we see single-server forums so that players can talk to each other efficiently, for RP/recruiting/organizing/fun? 6. Why should the players think that F2P is anything other than pay-to-win given EA's comments about the performance of SWTOR in the EA quarterly report? 7. How is Bioware-Austin (BWA, as opposed to the Edmonton branch) going to deliver content faster than before given the large number of studio layoffs and churn on top management? 8. Yet again EA promises better communication, then disappears. What form will this communication take, and will the SWTOR forums ever be the primary destination for SWTOR information as opposed to social media?
  5. Go DPS (Marauder). Tanking is similar to other MMOs, however the Sith Warrior tank just got nerfed into uselessness for PvP.
  6. Well you won't really be ALL that far away as a Vanguard tank. You do get some tools to manage threat - taunts (hey bad guy HIT ME) and Guard (protect an ally and part of their threat goes to you instead). You have identified the challenge of tanking but I think it's fun and can vary quite a bit depending on your group. A good tank will switch targets, to make sure he has threat on all of them, and mix in AoE damage and pulls too. EDIT: Spelling.
  7. As a Marskmanship sniper since launch, I have often wondered whether the mobility of Lethality plus the Elemental damage is a better choice for raiding. Currently the only boss where I can sit in Cover and pewpew is Fabricator in KP. The rest of the time I feel like I spend too much time running around avoiding Damage on the Floor to really maximize my output as MM. What spec and priority system are Lethality snipers liking now that 1.2 has shipped?
  8. Most players should agree that TOR's launch has been better than WoW's launch - that's not the issue at hand. The problem is that the two products cost the SAME amount of money per month, except WoW has far more features and playable content. I don't grasp why the consumers, who are paying monthly fees, should give BioWare a pass on the quality and quantity of endgame content just because it's a new game. Even if you hand-wave the bugs with an "it'll all get fixed bud" mentality, the shocking lack of features is disconcerting. Where's the fun stuff to do on planets I've already visited? How about dual spec (coming in March, along with a zillion bugs), LFG for Flashpoints, PvP restructuring, in-game events, Pazaak... tons of things that could make TOR awesome simply don't exist and may not even be on the drawing board. On my 50, it's wayyyyy too easy to log out when my options are: a) horrible soul-killing PvE dailies (1-2 of which are bugged on Ilum constantly anyway) b) the awfulness of the Ilum PvP daily c) get farmed by premades/BMs in PvP d) stand around Fleet hoping to find a HM Flashpoint e) log out I tend to choose (e) and it's a short path from that to simply canceling. The thing is, I want to be enthralled with TOR, eagerly awaiting the next time I can log in. As it stands that's just not happening.
