  1. Groups of more than four need to go against groups of more than four, period - a group of five or more players will almost always completely dominate every WZ. I'm tired of getting focused by the same 7 man premade every night. If you have that many friends that want to PvP together then break in to two groups and play against each other.
  2. If you are using an outfit from outfitter and have your chest piece dyed a certain color, then when looking at your character model preview from the character select screen, no matter what setting or dye you have on the pants in your outfit, they will show as if they are equipped with the same dye module as your chest piece.
  3. We could potentially get two leaderboards in both 4s and 8s; one for groups and for when you que individually. What happens when a solo player goes against a team of 4 and it kills their stats? That would be a problem. I don't know but somebody can surely come up with something. The rewards should be 'useless and prestigious', no? (a title, a cosmetic, a flair?) They would also need to use some method of averaging, with a stipulation that you play at least X games to place on the leaderboards to keep somebody from from playing one awesome game and topping boards forever. I think as a community we REALLY need to push for a leaderboard system of some kind if they're removing ranked. If I'm playing against others I would like to see how I compare to them.
  4. Couldn’t agree more. I think the sports league analogy is perfect; give all the participants something but recognize the winners. This keeps an open space for all to compete and be rewarded, but also recognizes exceptional play. True competitors will play simply because they love the game and don’t need rewards, but I don’t think anybody would willingly sign up for a sports league where at the end of the season there was no record of who won. That sounds like something for kids so they don’t get their feelings hurt…
  5. Exactly this. Give everyone who comes out to play a t-shirt, but give the winners special recognition like a trophy or title. I would LOVE to see the new medal system do this well, but we’ll just have to wait and see I guess….
  6. Or at least should be, right..?
  7. I can get down with PvP rewards being in a seasonal model. However I think some kind of extra rewards need to be given at the end/midpoint of a season based on win percentage or average medals per game should their new medal system be good. Everyone deserves rewards but you’ve got to give increased/exceptional rewards to those who truly excel. Not everyone deserves the same thing - if everyone is special then nobody is. That’s kind of the point of putting yourself against other players imo.
  8. Ahh I see, thanks for all your advice! The Op ‘no turn’ root is what I was missing; the problems don’t come from the ops that use it from the front it comes from the good ones who use it from the back then remain behind me so I can’t respond to them how I want. Thanks for the info!
  9. I’ve recently been getting destroyed by Ops from behind if the root me while I don’t have my cc break/force speed(I play sorc). I don’t know why I haven’t thought of this before and it’s probably a silly question, but can I turn my character while rooted? Preferably by mouse but if I have to keyboard turn that’s fine; I’m just trying to get them in front of me so they can’t backstab me/I can overload them away. Thanks!!
  10. All fair points. Tbh the real point I’d like BioWare to take from my comment is in the first paragraph; that I’d rather see “bad” classes buffed than “good” classes nerfed.
  11. As someone who almost exclusively plays PvP, I’d like to say it’s unwise to implement minor dps nerfs to almost every class and minor healing buffs to almost every class in the same patch. These changes should be spread out so that we can more fully understand the ramifications of one adjustment before making another. I personally find the dps nerfs unwarranted; if a few classes are outperforming others I think it would be a more worthwhile and enjoyable improvement to the game if you instead buffed the under-performing classes instead of nerfing their counterparts. It would also be nice to see snipers/gunslingers get some love; as a ranged dps class they cannot out parse other ranged dps classes, are definitively less mobile, have fewer defensives, and no self healing. There seems to be no reason to play this class, at least from a tactical standpoint. I’d love to see it come back in to fold via some large damage or survivability increases. (I’d also like to say that I have not, do not, and will not play sniper/gunslinger; I just think the player base universally agrees they need some love)
