  1. I'm a little curious on this, it seems to be that the population cap you have put on ILUM is for the number of people there and not a specific max number from each faction, would it be possible to get a definite answer to this? It would be smart to have a limit for each faction before starting a ILUM (2) so that the balance would be an equal number of players from each side, this way you wont favor either faction side and it would create a good balance overall (apart from quite a few imperials that would probably have to sit in relatively barren ilums.) and not have 3-5 to one IMP VS REP. Just a suggestion.
  2. While i dont really mind the system you really have to do some kind of inventory check. So far i've been getting the same item's over and over. i'm getting sick of it really, + you loose centurion commendations so your actually punishing us rather than rewarding us... Well hey at least i get things, just the same thing over and over 3 times in a row and then on to another item i already have. This should be a high prio hotfix nothing less!
  3. Its a real shame that the most important namely the healer gets next to no rewards, if anything he or she should get rewarded much more than any dps. Starting to bored with doing 70% of the work and get no reward, hell people rarely give any MVP to the healer either, its generally the guy that happened to tag or score, most seem to forget about the healer that kept them alive. I guess its the same for bioware, i feel left out forgotten and banished to a dark hole where the light dont shine. And ofc like all the others in here i do dps/stun whenever i'm able to but its not that often when your spam healing 4-6 people non stop. PS Hail to those that gives the healers MVP i know there's a few of you out there and you have my deepest gratitude.
  4. I'd like to discuss the current pvp rewards that you get for warzone's. Currently the system rewards kills much more than it does to actually win. And the faster you do win the less reward you get. Now this does not seem to be like it should so i hope you can change this so more people would play to win instead of just going for the kills. A couple arguments/examples for a change: A match may be a constant back and forward between 2 groups, nobody can really kill anyone and it results in more of a stalemate where nobody got more than a few kills, now with the current system that would hardly give you any rewards while the fight was in fact much harder than one with lots of relatively easy fights and a lot more work had to be done to achieve anything at all. I'd like to see this kind of fight get rewarded much more than these farm warzones. (for a win that is) Another example would be if you won the fight relatively fast you also get next to no rewards for it, it does not mean that the other team were bad and it was a pushover you may have just gotten lucky with a bomb placement etc. Why should this give less rewards? In general the system also rewards those that can be mobile and run about getting more medals/kills, whilst the backbone, generally the healer/defender tends get left behind defending an objective. In essence it needs to be change so that winning is the main objective and will give much more rewards (for everyone) than farming, winning very slow, or the other team got more rewards than you because they killed a lot more of you. (but you actually won) Feel free to correct me on any of these points but i believe its about right.
  5. Whilst i'm no a big fan of huttball myself, well mainly due to the lack of smart players i have to say its a nice change. Sadly tho a lot of people seems to be of the mentality that killing wins the game and completely ignore the winning part. I see time and time again i stand there with the ball, i have 3-4 people topside that i can pass to but hey they all jumped off to go after that one lone guy. Rarely does anyone go ahead and place themself correctly and wait for a pass and when you do you never get one... so it usually ends one way and thats in a rage quit. I hope Bioware can give us an option to select out or select what we want to do cause huttball is destroying my WZ pleasure. (and i'm not a big fan of leaving WZ)
  6. It essentially boils down to people saying we dont want it so you cant have it either. If you dont want it dont use it If you cant beat someone in pvp because you dont have macro's and he/she your probably not good enough in the first place (i'm sure the world class ones can do 99% of the same stuff without) i know i'm not, even with macro's i'll never be more than a mediocre pvp player, not the worst but never the best. I'm about equally good with or without macro's belive it or not. Its also possible to restrict it a little so you dont get addons like bossmods which is fine but dont throw all addons on the same line, there's just too many good ones out there, Prat for example is great, who can say they dont miss copy/paste. Lots of bag addons (and with lua i'm sure they can be ported here) and so on. So please stop your no addons policy, its just silly and bioware will loose a lot of subs if they dont.
  7. So there's some grace period on disconnect. Now if there's a game crash or something like that it seems your right back in que (cant do restarts either) , i got the the character screen today had an unforseen issue that forced me to alt f4 the game and then right back into que. can you please stop being so shortsighted and actually think about more than a single thing when you make these fixes I know you have your hands full but i'm sure most will feel that this is far more important than fixing some small bug nobody really cares about
  8. Finding the respec costs quite high, currently i'm on 80k which seems to be the limit, so far i've spent maybe 350k (probably more but i lost count) on respecs and i'm currently 45. I know its a lot but i'm one of the impulsive characters that like to dps and i enjoy healing (sage). Is that really so much to ask that i can switch between the 2 or even 3 builds without going broke? For me this is the single worst game breaker in mmo's and i find the concept overly harsh and i think it would do the game good to have it virtually free, i know i and i'm sure many others would enjoy the game a whole lot more without this added massive cost. (and spare me the troll comments) Dual specc would surely help but keep in mind there's heal specc there's pvp heal specc pve/pvp dmg specc and so on so one really needs to be able to switch between 4 minimum, but i know you cant have it all. Do us a favor tho lower the cost drastically
  9. Slicing seems to have become somewhat of a joke, the money you get for 30 minutes with 3 companions is usually much less than you get for a 15 minute warzone run and the rare drops from slicing so rare its silly. Hope you can up this somewhat again cause it feels quite useless as it is now.
  10. Really dont mind some of these gameplay bugs, that cant be helped but the state of the UI chat raid frames is just a joke, this is kind of the backbone to make it work in the first place. So EA and bioware you did a poor job to say the least, more focus on this instead of making all the npc's talk right would be appreciated. Also less Greed more Focus. Spendt 3 more months developting to have a working product. Big companies are alienating they costumers more and more with releasing in this state, some so much so that i and many others wont ever buy a game from them again, please dont go that route. Ps. still waiting to talk to my ops groups and guild, seems to break more and more often. And stop bugging the OP for being 50 fast just shows how sad a person you are if you got nothing better to say.
  11. First of all its a little sad to see so many people against Addons and macros. Addons and macro's really arnt as bad as you make them out to be nor do you need it to be just as competitive as the guy using them, and ok you might have to install one addon for raiding, where's the harm? So the good things, Bag addons that let you sort your bags according to all kinds of things so that you have a great overview and dont have to spend your time sorting and looking for that one thing. Mail addons to open all your auctions and so on. These are hardly game breaking. Then there's Raid frames which gives you a better overview than the current one that is in a horrific state and i dont see it getting any better anytime soon as the whole UI is largely neglected And macro's. As a healer i would really like to have a macro so that everytime i need some help or just want to shout go left i dont have to stop and type it, i might be under attack trying to heal someone and so on, so thats a great help to me. And again hardly a game breaking feature. Someone might use it for 2 items too. like 2 trinkets. Not the worst thing in the world. Mouse over macros easy mode? no it gives you the ability to react faster and it may just be the few miliseconds you need to save your tank. and guess what you dont have to use it if you dont want to (its mainly reserved for group healers and not MT healers anyways) Simply put there's just too many Pro's over Cons for it not to be used.
  12. Seems there's a little to few quests in one place and the distance you have to travel is immense, I'd be real happy if one didnt have to run back and forth across the map all the time for 1 quest. Other than that its ok. And thankfully you get quite a bit of xp running warzones too.
  13. Server error and 1500 in front of me. Lovely, fix this already. looking at a 4-5 hour wait Its also launch day so one would think pop cap would be raised and new character creation limits set and capped but no.
