  1. So make WZs cross-server, no? That way waiting time lowers dramatically for both PUG and premade queues.
  2. Both points self-explanatory. It's just ruining the PvP experience. Seriously, what is the PvP team doing? Haven't seen any major issue adressed really.
  3. It's actually already constant, but you have to work for it - not forget to turn it on each time you must + use retaliate on CD. That way when the 30 sec is over, it is available again.
  4. A mean to stop being controlled so much and a gap closer. Currently it's way to easy to control us with roots/slow/kite et cetera. Almost all ranged classes have these things, and any semi-decent player can use them to make your life very hard. And marauders don't really have a counter except for the force leap. Solution: Guardians/Jugs have force push, which is an interrupt and refreshes cooldown on the force leap, kinda adressing this issue. Marauders/Sents could use a similar ability, but instead of interrupting it could break CCs like the ability each class gets. Something like: "Unstoppable". 1 min CD, breaks CC, refreshes the force leap. P.S. What we also could've used is a little more group utility and a little more surviveability.
  5. Another solution might be lowering CD on the CC-breaker abilities dramatically. Like 15 sec would do.
  6. However it works, it doesn't work good enough. 2 stuns in a row? It's more like perma stun. Not counting the roots, knockback, slow et cetera. All of this should count against that maximum. And the "in a row" thing doesn't just mean directly after 1st stun has wore off. More like "getting CCed 2 times in a fight max". Not 3 times stunned, knocked back, rooted, slowed for the whole fight.
  7. No, this is the way it should be. 1-2(MAX) stuns in a row.
  8. Current PvP is just a stunfest. There shouldn't be such thing as a stunlock at all. Crowd control removes the skill from PvP, since skill is about controlling your character -_-.
  9. It's just self-explanatory. Pugs should play vs pugs, premades vs premades (4+4 vs 4+4 and 8v8). Otherwise it's just not fair, obviously. And to alleviate the waiting queques, it only needs to be cross-server. Then add ranking and voila, warzone PvP just became 5x as good.
  10. Makes Cloack of Pain permanent => obligatory in PvP at least. Rage is not such a big issue in Anni spec.
  11. I disagree sooo much o_O. Marauder's CDs are one of the best in this game, and i've a lvl50 powertech too + lots of other alts. Cloack of pain a joke ability? 20% damage reduction that lasts forever? If you use your retaliate properly (a ret+basic attack combo costs less rage and dmgs more than a vicious slash, in the same 1 gcd), it's always on. Plus a small damage to the attackers. Compare that to Powertech's same 20% reduction, but only lasting 10 seconds out of 2 minutes. Sabre ward's 25% more damage reduction to Force and Tech, and additional 50% defense (not nearly as good as the hard reduction but still). Berserk is 12% heal, and it can be repeated twice in a row (well, after ~12sec cooldown on the DoTs) thanks to frenzy. The probably best stun in the game (6 sec AoE stun instead of the usual 4 sec single target). Learn to position though. Et cetera, can't bother to list everything here. SW has all the tools, many of them really unrivaled by anyone else. All you need is the skill to use them properly.
  12. All the lightsaber combat seems to be based on the second trilogy at best, and the wildest book authors' fantasies (expanded universe) at worst. It's like everyone's an Ataru/Vaapad user or something (exaggerating but still). The combat in the original trilogy was much more realistic, based on real-world fencing and kendo. Watch the Obi-Wan vs Vader duel (Obi-Wan supposedly used Soresu-ShiCho mix, and Vader was also a Soresu fan, plus Shien). Even the Luke vs Vader in the Return of the Jedi - both used Djem So, a very aggressive and powerful form, but still it looked much more realistic. I understand that the design of the ls combat in the game was made to look fun/cool, and that's why it's so acrobatic/wild swings/bizarre unrealistic moves et cetera. But maybe at least some form(s) can be a bit more natural.
  13. So don't use Soresu and don't spec Defense. Get tank gear with +defense, get a Vigilance spec (3/27/11) http://www.torhead.com/skill-calc#500bzZhGrMMhdzMMZhrR0z.1, use Shi-Cho. You tank a bit worse, but you never loose aggro, thus stress on the healer balances out. You get much more dps (it's like having 3 DPSes in the group instead of 2). Your PvP is great, especially if you have 2nd gear set with +power and surge instead of tanking stats.
