  1. Just because you want something, doesn't mean everyone does, and should be forced into it. Get a guild, make some friends. If you're sick of playing the game solo, use your social skills instead of asking BW to force people to group with you.
  2. I chose a PvP server that is very idiot heavy. So, I am going to reroll on a new server. However, I can't decide if I want to reroll on Jekk'Jekk Tarr or Anchorhead. I mostly like to PvP, but it seems PvP servers are over run with jerks. People are extremely unfriendly and general chat is mostly just people calling each other rude names. I logged into the Jekk'Jekk Tarr server and the first thing I see in general chat are people getting along and adding each other to their friends list.. aw, nice. Anyways, will there be enough people queueing for warzones on the jekk'jekk tar server in the long run? Or do way less people want to do warzones on a pve server? Also, is there a huge australian presence? I hear this is their backup unofficial server. I love aussies, but I would worry that they will all transfer off when BW puts in an aussie server, and jekk'jekk tarr will become a low pop server. Anchorhead seems like a healthy population. Is it an unofficial server of some kind? Do people concentrate on berating people as much as on playing the game? Any decent friendly empire guild suggestions? I don't want to keep rerolling. Some opinions from people who play on these servers would be much appreciated.
  3. Thank you Thanks for all the tips, everyone. It takes longer to level in this game than what I'm used to. I wanted to make sure I wasn't doing something wrong before getting discouraged. I'm bored and impatient. It's great when you're getting new skills every couple of hours, a ship, a speeder... but then it all stops and I'm gaining a level or two a day and feel so far from end game. I want to make a bunch of alts but I want to get one character to 50 first.1
  4. I don't get how there are so many level 50s. I play for like 8 hours per day, I started on Dec 16th, and I'm only level 33. What's the fastest way to level? I've been doing a combination of questing and warzones.
  5. Just because the scoreboard says 0's across the board for a person, doesn't mean they were afk. There's been about 5 times where I've entered a warzone that has 10 seconds left on the clock and it ends before I get the chance to even get out of the gate.
  6. I am aware of this. I'm trying to figure out what the reward for warzones is. If the exp is no good, it doesn't matter how many they add, however many months from now.
  7. Whats the point of warzones then? There's what, 3 different ones? That gets boring fast.
  8. Is it faster to level via quests or to do warzones? Or the same?
  9. I tried Veela and the Fatman, and there is a drastic difference in the quality of general chat. People are definitely more friendly and mature on Anchorhead, from what I've seen.
  10. I'm considering rolling republic on this server, if I can find a guild of mature/non-elitist/friendly people to play with. Any recommendations? Although I don't roleplay, I've been considering a RP-PVP server, because people claim roleplayers are nicer and more mature, but it seems rude to join a RP server only to not participate. I figure it will suit my needs if I can find a good group on Anchorhead before I commit.
  11. I'm having a hard time deciding. I would definitely choose Ven Zallow if I knew it wouldn't turn into a ghost town down the road. I don't want to wait in an hour long queue all week, and I've secured the character name I want on it, but I also want a server that will be rich in community, and population. I was thinking Jung Ma would be more community rich, as there would be pre-launch established guilds on it already. But when I look up guilds on either server, I'm not finding anything. I'm afraid that when the initial rush of players at launch settles down, Ven Zallow will turn into a low population server, with no big guilds on it. Thoughts? I don't want to keep re-rolling, but I can't stop over-thinking every little decision!
  12. It's really too early in the game to be concerned about such things. They don't even know what their server list is going to look like when all is said and done. Since every other MMO out there has forums for servers, and they are popular, and used, I'm going to go ahead and assume that SWTOR will have them too.
  13. Or, to get a quality name like "Yfelsung", you can just randomly mash at the keyboard. Hgorfen Mlabov Hoogenfrok There you go. Any of you can feel free to take these original names that I created for you... or you can go translate your favourite names to a dead language for something equally stupid.
