You DO realize that you can buy the ONE dye pack, put it in your chest piece and then match color to chest piece for the rest of your armor. Your argument is dead on arrival.

The 6 to 8 week updates are free for everyone. Did you get charged to patch the game the other day? Have you been charged for any patch other then what they said they were charging for which was RotHC? Bioware is not lying, you will get all updates for free but they will charge for DLC's and Expansions just like every other game does.

It did come back, there is an EMU out there of SWG and it is very playable and enjoyable. If they want that they can go there and play for FREE also.

Well considering that we are not taught about UTC, Zulu, GMT, BST time zones yes it is confusing. I am 43 years old and I had never even heard of UTC, BST or even GMT until recently. I did see a link on this very thread that links a site that shows our current time in UTC which is very helpful.

So in doing that you have created an entire new confused masses of players in the US that have no freaking clue what the heck GMT or UTC time is compared to PST, EST, CST etc. Is there a place that shows all the current world time zones where we could deciper this for ourselves? I am in EST and I cannot figure out what time the servers are going down. All I know is I am in a time zone that is -5 gmt time and that still doesn't help me to figure it out.

I think you need to do some research because you are gonna be completely wrong once they officially announce the major space addition to the game. Perhaps you have heard about the SSSP aka the Super Secret Space Project. I suggest you google that and find the developer videos where this is specifically mentioned. It is coming and just because they haven't given us much detail at this time doesn't mean it isn't in the works.

You may want to look in your inventory on the character that you purchased the unlock for the Cathar race. You have to actually use the item in the inventory to unlock it once you purchase it.

That is because there is nothing to download. He is probably downloading the 2.0 patch from well over a month ago.

I just started up the launcher and selected the PTS and there was NO download. I think you haven't loaded up PTS in quite some time and you got the patch from the 2.0 patch.

He could also just disable his anti virus program while downloading. For some reason the launcher has issues with many anti virus programs when downloading a new patch.

I bought the expansion and have been with the game since beta and I don't feel as if I have been slapped in the face at all. Quite the opposite in fact. Would you guys feel better if they didn't give us free cartel coins each month which literally brings our subs down to about 9.99 a month if you add in that perk.

Yeah small content updates just like the free ones we get here. However and this is where you are not connecting the dots is, GW2 will release 5 times the expansions that most major MMO's will and you will be charged 45.00 to 60.00 dollars for each of them. That is where the bulk of their money is made and they also make money from their version of the in game market (like the cartel market here). Most Major MMO's charge 29.99 for a full expansion and smaller amounts like 10.00 to 20.00 for adventure packs (mini expansions). Bioware/EA has done nothing that differs from other MMO's IMHO.

I did it just fine the very first time and had zero problems. Just because you couldn't figure it out doesn't mean it is bugged or not tested.
