  1. If GS are not meant to kill high armor classes then I think were pretty well balanced, otherwise there is an issue, mitigation almost negates every ability we have. Freighter Flyby is the best DPS option against tanks w/ the elemental damage.

    Devs wake up!!

Sadly, all things considered, PvP seems better to me in this game than PvE. Forming groups for PvE content is really difficult. Entering the PvP queue and immediately being partnered with a group is pretty quick and convenient. PvP has its problems but I would rather they work on a better LFG system for PvE. I say this coming from the perspective of virtually playing the entire game from launch with PvP and leveling solo in PvE content with some group PvE on a rare occassion. On top of that, I logged in the other day and got a mail message that I'm now the guild master. Most of my guild decided to quit and left me running it. They were a PvE guild from another game and went back to that game. I assume this occurred because of the PvE content. There are lots of problems and it goes way beyond the minor PvP issues.
  3. While it has nothing to do with how OP sorcs/sages are. They are incredibly difficult to tell if they are a healer or damage spec. While I always focus on the healers first, I have to spend a good amount of time making that assessment when encountering a sorc/sage.
  4. This doesn't seem like such a bad thing but they waited too long to do it.
  5. I just assumed that both teams win. I don't recall ever losing when both teams acheived the same objectives.
  6. I think this is primarily happening because of the insane time sink it is to complete the daily and weekly in ilum. I play republic and maybe that is part of the problem but that is one of the hardest daily/weekly quests to complete.
  7. The hybrid design of some classes especially the sorc/sage seem to give them a huge edge which is apparent in PvP, maybe less in PvE. I guess it really depends on what Bioware's focus will be. PvP or PvE. The 5K medal needs to be 5k in 2 seconds, then gunslingers would get it. Our single target damage is terrible(considering that seems to be our class design), even when in the single target tree. Mitigation works really well against our attacks. Although once I realized the effectiveness in our AoE attack(Freighter Flyby), I frequently am near the top on damage. It almost does as much damage as our best single target attack. I attribute much of that to the fact that other players don't understand its AoE range/damage duration.
  8. I have been asking the same question myself. I think I am a pretty good pvp player and it is very difficult to kill a sorc as a gunslinger. When fighting Tanks, I might as well just die or run away. I find myself doing the most damage against snipers and other gunslingers which is quite ironic. I personally don't think sorcs do more damage but they have great damage mitigation with healing/bubble/mobility. I'm sure in a PvE instance we would be doing about the same damage. There is something not right about the gunslinger/sniper. I see what the devs were trying to accomplish and on paper we look great but the lack of heals/mobility really puts at us a disadvantage. If you are avid PvPer, you are going to be much happier with Sorc/Sage.
  9. They based a decision on Biochem on game chatter? What? lol.
