  1. The ONLY way this would be acceptable would be if it was an addition effect of "sneak". baseline would be OP as hell.
  2. Im in a fairly similar boat, was a Hpriest in wow (main heals for my guilds 10mans) I rolled OP mostly because my guild was full of sorc's and i didnt want to fight over loot. So far I am loving my character. To the point, Im wondering how you heal i know healing is a complex game so I'll throw out my thoughts and I would really appreciate some pointers as I'm still working out the kinks with the energy resource system. Firstly i know to try and keep stimpack up as much as possible. secondly i find most of my healing is just Kolto probe, for the Ta then toss Sug prope for heals. Almost never use KInf. Use Kinj when someone really needs healing and if i see i drop below 50% ill use DS to get back up to 60. (Health pools permiting). If im failing on any particular point or any advice you can give would be grealy appreciated again. I'm alwasy looking to become a better healer because i've always felt a good healer can carry a bad group.
  3. Honestly I'd settle for making Kinf a Instant case that requires 20energy and 1TA. Try and keep us the role of mobile healers. Its kinda great kitting a boss throwing out Koto probes/surgical probes, but sometimes the big boost is needed from kolto injection or the close second of Kolto infuse if we cant take teh 2sec to not move and cast it.
  4. So I should mention that these ideas are from a PvE point of view I have basicly given up on PvP, untill I get a better comp. And I feel like I should post the reasoning behind a instant Kinf. As it stands now we only have 2 spells that take a cast time, everyother spell is a instant or channeled. The channeled spells you can cancel with any other spell cast so im not really worried about that because the activation of it is still isntant. It would be nice if we can get Kinf to be instant to try and make us the mobile healers, which from a PvP point of view would be nice since it would mean much less stopping to heal.
  5. Exactly. I'll admit Sorc seem way overpowered compared to the other two healing classes. But Drengir's statment is still valid that they are not "undisputed" Semantics at this point but im bored at work and i gotta keep occupied somehow.
  6. I know there have been many of these posts in the past. But I'm going to through some suggestions out here on what I think would improve our healing. These are fairly rough ideas and may need a bit more polish, please chime in if you have any other thoughts. 1) Diagnostic scan: There are two things that I think could be done here just one or the other not both. A) Remove the crit requirement from Patient studies. B) Keep the crit requirement but have Prognosis Critical Reduce cast time instead by 50/100% 2) Kolto Infusuion: Personally I think this should be an isntant cast with an energy cost. As well as a talent somewhere that lets it refreash Kolto Probe. Those are the two things that I think would help us out quite a bit. Again thoughts, concerns, flames, and trolls welcome.
  7. O.o? cunning? not sure what your asking here like where it is the game or what the stat should be.
  8. I think the point here is that there are people disputing it thus negating the "undisputed" title. Its like saying something is 100% cotton, with a little bit of wool.
  9. You know I picked an operative despite it being advertised as a HoT healer*. Looking at the skills we only have two HoTs. 1 to keep up Tactical advantage and other for AoE. Our main skills though are direct heals. The Sorc have more HoT as most of their heals use Direct+hot mechanic. Honestly i think they just need to develop a little bit more synergy between the operative skills not just "X" creates TA to use "Y" skill. And in reality we only have two Healing skills to generate TA and two Healing that consume it. The only other ability we have as a Op is stim pack and thats just for more regen, now dont get me wrong that is great having mroe regen but its heavily used in dps rotations as well so its just a base mechanic for our class. Annotation: *was a preist in WoW, but guild is full on sorcs and i dont want to fight for loot.
  10. My information may be outdated but I read somewhere on MMOchamp a while back comparing all the healing classes and they said Sorc's could stack willpower i think it was or something to effect their regen. Just pulled the article i read back up and its been edited to take that point out. My bad.
  11. Pulled it up on Torhead and it say 5%
  12. From teh sounds of things here you guys have a bit of skill synergy where as my heals just proc better heals.
  13. I find it kinda funny how in the healer thread its filled with people saying "SORC are OP buff Mercs/Ops." You guys have brough me some faith in the healing in this game. Even though I pretty much play 1-2 character in an MMO then dink around with the other 8 or so, I'm usually a main healer in whatever guild I'm in so I try and get as much information as I can. Always thought it was a good idea to talk to the players instead of reading biased guides. One last question for you guys, In a given flashpoint or OP, do you find yourself using any of your abilities too ofter or too little? Or do you feel all of your abilites have a well set place and time for each. (i dont need the situation for all the heals just if it feels balanced). The reason I ask is because as far as Op's go its pretty much three heals out of our box the rest are just if energy is low and we cant use the other three.
  14. I think a part of the issue here besides just toolsets is resource managemnet. Lets face it Sorc plays like the standard healer from almost everyother MMO(no offense). Their force acts just like mana with the ability to have better regen through willpower. Ops/Mercs, use an energy/heat system that are just opposite of eachother (loose energy/build heat). This gives us a much harder time in burst situations because of the inherently smaller resource pool. Now I dont want this misconstrude in anyway I love my new Resource mechanic but it is taking alot of getting use to. I play an OP and managing Energy, TA and stimboost, and Kolto probs, gets a little overwhelming. As far as the AoE imbalances go its worth looking into but we need some valid ideas for update before calling for fixes. At the moment for Ops, (cant speak for mercs) we got one 31point talen that is an AoEhot. Only change to that spell to bring it on par with the Sorc would be for our AoE to also refreash our hot we put on people.
  15. I just pulled up your guys abilities off ToR head so I think I did miss the rapid shots. As for Ops I actually feel really stron on single target, even with huge burst dmg a constant dot and 3 heals we got to a managable point. When i start trying to heal the whole group is when it start to get a little harder. Surgical probe makes things a little easier but maybe i just need more practice. And i guess I gotta have a talk with my guild Sorc and show him how to heal properly. PS. Sorry about the noobish posts Im' only a 30op so dont have any end game experiance.
