The way I look at it the devs just smacked the whole PvP community in the face, which isn't smart. Of all the groups that play the game the hardcore PvPers are the snobbiest and most self obsessed group ( i know im one :-D ) to chose to piss off that group was a bad move, of all the groups these are the most likely to actually follow through and never play this game again.

It is players like you that made them realize it was ok to pull the rug out from under us cuz fanboi's will adhere to w/e the devs pump out. If I pay for something, i don't care how frivolous the item is, I expect it to be provided in the timely order it was promised or I expect a refund. So you should be able to understand the consternation at having the company make a business oriented decision to hurt their customer base rather than their pockets. In the short term this will make them a lot, in the long term it just answered the question a lot of peeps have been wonder. they claim to listen to us in the forums and pts but no one said, if its buggy and hackers can still take advantage we don't want it in, we told them its buggy and is in need of a lot of work but all in all it is fun! Buggy Content Released = Product provided on time, complaints are baseless and focused on the quality of the product. Buggy Content Not Released = Huge Negative PR storm, complaints are based on simple false advertising principles and the absence of the promised product. That said I am not going anywhere for 2 and a half months, thats how much game time i have, if Ranked WZ havent made it in by then im probably gonna unsub.

Pricelessly true, their shareholders are VERY likely to bring this very failure up.

I would liken it more to having someone tell you that you were getting 3 cookies, they then only gave you 2 but they had the 3rd cookie in their hand and told you that they might give you the other cookie in a week or two if you are good. You can see how this might be personally offensive to players, it didn't benefit anyone but the devs to delay the PR of no RWZs.

I was just talking about their server pop trick with some friends the other day, very few people seem to have caught that.

I like both PvP and PvE, he did not say the Operation coming out was inspiring single person play he was saying the Legacy system does which I thoroughly agree with. You PvE only types and PvP only types annoy me, the game is BOTH L 2 enjoy the whole shebang that you are paying for.

I run an internet marketing corporation and I can most assuredly concur that from a business perspective this was a great decision in the short term but someone in their Research & Development Dept didn't take the leap to say the words that a boss needs to hear which is, "The yes men are just saying yes sir, I'm here to tell you no, this is not a good decision in the long run." They will now have people that have SPITE for them not just the mild irritation the press release a week ago would have created.

I think BW spends more time and effort regulating these forums than it does making Press Releases to inform its player base about major changes to releases that they confirmed 10 days ago. There is still an article in the news section of the website going into detail from the 30th about how Ranked WZ will work in 1.2 That means that 10 days ago they didn't even know they weren't going to make it available. That is bad communication within the company not just to the player base.

BW you know the negative response this is going to create, you know that this is one of the MOST ANTICIPATED PARTS of 1.2 and yet you wait till now to release this information?! This is going to make all of the great stuff you are doing in 1.2 be a negative thing now because you didn't follow through on your word. Tomorrow the majority of players that dont read forums are going to be like *** where is my Ranked WZ this is garbage and ragequit. As this was the main thing I was overjoyed about in 1.2 I am thoroughly disappointed to read this, no matter what you release we are going to complain that is simple but the longer you take to provide what you have already said that you would the less people that will be here to complain about it.

After finishing the Sith Warrior story I decided I would like to make a run down of what I felt was missing. I loved the story as a whole but if it were a book there are a few major things it is missing and as a game there are a few shortcomings.
