Okay, sorry, I asked the wrong question. Why can I even use electrostaves?

Dear boys and girls, As a shadow consular I have the privilage to be able to use Electrostaves. Too bad my skills feel neglected and won't talk to me as soon as I take a electrostaf instead of a double-bladed lightsaber. So the question remains. Why are electrostaves even ingame.

Why open with Telecentic Trow if I may ask? Aslo, can you give me some pointers on a talent build?

Im a level 21 Shadow Consular and im not liking it. I have the feeling that I have too many skills I dont use (take up space) and at the same time to much skills I DO have to use. Does this get better late game or should I reroll to something I might like better?
